I went into the star store today and was helped by the assistant manager Blake. he was very knowledgeable and super helpful with replacing my battery and all of the warranty paperwork. I will definitely make this my home store because of all the help and great customer service from Blake.

Sometimes I have a good experience. Other times, not so good. The prices are high and some of the products are not high quality. At least they do price matching for the exact same products, if you can show them an ad. They do also have the ability to order products and get them in store same day if you get there early enough.

Ran to O’Reilly in a panic because my car was overheating and about to steam out. The Assi. Manager, Blake, got my Air in my car radiator burped out and taught me how to properly handle the radiator. On the way back the coolant gauge stayed in the safe zone. Bad ass Assistant manager and great service!

Needed a battery check this morning and arrived right as they opened. I know this is a very busy time of the day but the guys were eager to help. My second battery in my diesel had corroded connections and did need a new battery. It takes quite a bit to remove the battery on this truck but they didn’t mind at all. I highly recommend oreilly!

Went in for simple windshield wiper blades replacement, which is no longer a simple straightforward task. Replacing the blades was simple. However, getting the blades into the serve mode was another story. The service rep searched online for the required steps and watched some you tube videos. His persistence and patience paid off with the right steps in the correct sequence to put the wipers in the service mode position for a quick replacement of the blades. I'm now ready for the next rainstorm.

I came in to O’Reilly auto parts in STAR today because my headlight was out. Assistant manager Blake provided me with top-notch service. He walked me through what my options were an even changed my bulbs for me. With my husband being sick, this was a huge help as I do not know how to do this. O’Reillys will be my one stop shop with friendly knowledgeable and fantastic service. Thanks again, Blake!!

Super helpful and efficient. My battery died so I called over and spoke with Jason. I didn’t have the tools to install it so he grabbed some tools and helped replace it right in the parking lot. It took under 10 minutes and saved me about $80 compared to having an auto shop put it in.

Rear turn signal light was out on my 1994 Bronco. I went to O'Reilly Auto Parts in Star, Idaho. They had the bulb, and Josh offered to put it on for me. With help from my golden retriever, Geordie, Josh got the bulb replaced and figured out that the engine had to be running to test the results. Success! Thank you, Josh!

Just here to say Blake was such a big help! I just bought a car that turned out to be a pretty unsafe purchase. Lots of minor things and very scary not knowing how dangerous it could have turned out. I was stuck after a long day at work and Blake was able to help me before pulling out of the O'Reilly's parking lot. I appreciate his help and looking over the things that could have turned out pretty bad. Thank you! So much.

Every time I go in here, the employees are super friendly and helpful. They will install your wipers if needed and it only takes them a second. During the holidays, one of the guys had hot wheels in the package and gave one to my 3 year old which he mentions now every time we pass by!

After losing my man card and breaking the bulb in my poor attempt to replace my low beams, I went to O’Reilly’s where Jason and Aiden helped me gain it back by helping me step by step with the process and showing me how to replace it in a much easier way. Great people and great help!

We called ahead to make sure they had the battery we needed. The man on the phone introduced himself. Asked us to ask for him when we arrive. We arrived to purchase the battery, we go in and ask for Tim the helpful man on the phone. There is no one there named Tim. Since we couldn’t find the caller, Mark came forward to help us. We get the battery and I mentioned I also need windshield wipers. Mark looks them up and gets the caller for us. As we were discussing things concerning our needs Don came forward and said so your the person I was talking to. We kinda of giggled not knowing where the name Tim came into play. After purchasing battery and wipers, Mark offered his help changing the battery and instillation of the wipers. It was 23 degrees outside, he came out and changed the battery and all the wipers. Mark and Don were so nice and so helpful. Thank you both for being so helpful and kind.

I was in your store 10-22-24 6:15pm and it was empty with no other customers. Whomever you have working the counter at that time was rude, acted like it was a burden to assist me, and as soon as another customer came in, he said, " I'm gonna go help them" and just walked away from me. I had to go to Napa Auto, where their staff were busy, but treated everyone equally with respect. I will forward this to corporate, and I am not happy. Over a lightbulb. Today is the 6th of November 2024. I received a very nice thank you note from O'Reilly corporate/General Manager with a nice gift to use in the store. Thank you back to O'Reilly for responding quickly and earning my trust. That speaks highly to your professionalism.

I needed a new headlight bulb, but was having trouble removing the old one. They helped me find the right replacement bulb, explained the benefits of getting two (replacing both sides at once), and then went outside to my car and installed both for me. Excellent service! Highly recommended.

My generator light went off on my 1972 Buick GS 455 Stage 1. I called over and spoke with Jason who said bring it over and he would check to see if I had a battery or alternator issue. Alternator was the culprit, so Jason immediately found me a AC Delco brand new replacement and had it transferred to the Star location in less than 2 hours. OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE! Thank you for going above and beyond to help me out.

On Sunday I went into O’Rileys for what I suspected to be a bad battery. It was about an hour before closing and upon arriving I tried to get the battery out but didn’t have tools with me. The gentleman named Jason who was working at the time with another lady was incredibly helpful! He was very helpful getting the battery out and testing it which the test time pushed up against the closing hours. At no point did either employee push me out the door or make me feel rushed. Instead they both were outside with me talking and Jason assisted me with getting the new battery in. Honestly one of the better customer services experiences for me in years! Thank you to both Jason and the young lady who helped me resolve my car issue.

Employees are absolute garbage. Girlfriend brought in a trailer brake light with part number clearly labeled on the back asking if they could order the light. Got told by a blonde hair teen, brake lights are too hard to look up and if it’s not on the wall he can’t help. 15 second google search populated the brake light on their website. Confused as to why the employee she dealt with said it was too difficult to look up I decided to go back to the store a few hours later. There were now two Hispanic looking teens at the counter. I approached one and handed the light over asking if he could order the light and received a blank stare. The other without even looking at the light stated they’re on the back wall. To be safe I went back and looked, obviously not seeing the light I returned to the counter. I informed them it is not on the wall and was met with another blank stare before he reluctantly slowly starting typing random characters on his keyboard while staring at the wrong side of the light where there are clearly no numbers or letters. The other employee asks for the part number to which the employee I’m dealing with says “where do I find that” . The light is handed over, he types something into their system and tells him it’s on the wall with whatever their in house coding is. He leaves to the wall and returns with a completely different light. “Not even the same wiring or LEDs” I state this isn’t the light. To which he says you just need to take the rubber gasket off it’s the same. At this point I then show him my Google search and he just says oh what’s the part number.. and then magically finds the light in their system. At this point I asked if there was a blonde hair employee earlier. Which he says there was earlier. I then ask why when my girlfriend comes in for help she gets told it’s too difficult to look up and she can’t be helped. He replies I highly doubt that’s what she was told and then tells me if I have an issue to call corporate. This store is plagued with uneducated lazy Employees

Friendly and knowledgeable employees. They had a unique part, which they had in stock (I had a broken oil dip stick on my 14 year old vehicle), and at a reasonable price. I was able to quickly enter, ask the sales clerk what I needed, get the part and be back in my vehicle in less than ten minutes. The fact that this store is about five minutes away from my home makes very convenient. The store was well stocked with many automotive products, and I was even able to buy a soda too while waiting for the salesperson to retrieve my part from the rear storage area. I will return whenever I should need to buy an automotive part.
