I recently visited the Lihue location due to car battery trouble. Cobra was extremely helpful with recommendations and even replacing my battery! Huge thank you to the team and I will be returning in the future with any car needs.

I had to exchange an item. Judah was very nice, courteous, and helpful. Judah answered my questions, and made sure the new item was working correctly before doing the exchange. Process was quick, I was impressed. Have purchased other items from Auto Zone, Lihue, and service was great.

(I've already emailed customer reviews @ AutoZone but want to make this known to the public. However, I won't post a picture of him here.) Young kid, in 20s maybe, needs to either do training in customer service or get a new job that doesn't require customer service skills because he lacks in that department. My dad, had questions on multiple things and needed help with carrying a battery. Everytime my dad would turn his back, this kid would roll his eyes. When asked to help with the battery, mind you my dad is elderly, says "you guys can grab it yourself". Autozone's vision statement, specifically the core vision for customer focus, states "[...] Prioritize providing "WOW!" customer service, meaning exceeding customer expectations with friendly service, trustworthy advice, and helping customers find the right parts." Yes, I am definitely "wow-ed" by the customer service. Please do better. This does not reflect the Aloha Spirit here in Hawaii and treating our Kupuna (Elderly) with respect.

I was having issues with my vehicle battery, and I nearby this lihue location I went in and asked Associate for assistance to check my battery, but I got the attitude from this gentleman that i was bothering him seemed like this gentleman didn't want to assist the way his actions were. So I just said that I'll go next door to orielys for help with my battery. I was trying to give the benefit or the doubt that maybe he was having a bad day still.

Had good experience buying parts - messed it up and they exchanged it no issue with the warrantee. Got sound advice from Cobra, Braxton, Alohui and the rest of the team there. Thanks a lot!

Stopped to get my battery tested. Alohi was very helpful in diagnosing and Braxton was awesome and replaced it right there for me! Greatly appreciate the service.

Was assisted by Braxton (in Lihue, Hawaii) and his service went above and beyond in every way. Super helpful and friendly — and he even came out to the parking lot to take a look at my vehicle and to buff out a spot for me. Amazing service!!!!!

My van battery was somewhat dying so decided to go to auto zone and have it checked.. went to register and ask this man if he could check my battery and without hesitation he said or course. He then checked my battery and said it was bad.. i said wow i pretty sure i got this battery not to long ago.. Again without hesitation he asked me some info and checked it in the computer and of course found that it still had warranty.. He then got a new battery and replaced it with speed and accuracy.. And said i was good to go.. he was so friendly and did his job without hesitation and with pride. Im not to exact sure what his name was i saw a glance of his name tag and pretty sure saw Jerry or something with a Jerr. It was march 8 2024 approx about 330 pm. Thank you so much to this helpful, friendly person. I appreciated your time and help..

Being in the customer service industry, very disappointed by the young lady that answered the phone.. Kaliah (I think) answered very cheery but when asking for help finding 1(one) part, attitude changed, heavy sighing, very unknowledgeable. Very condescending and we did not appreciate it. We have a business account there for a reason.. we do a fair amount of business there and after reading the reviews.. I wish we could’ve had the luck to deal with CHRIS.. this lady obviously is not suited for being in the service industry. Most likely gonna take a break from patroning them for a little while.

Chris, the Store Manager was phenomenal in helping us out with a damage problem in our car. Very rarely we find someone as great as him who actually go above and beyond to help the customer and get them the right product for the problem !! Really really liked the experience. Best place on the island, and personally my best experience overall as a customer

Christopher and Kiela were an immense help with our vehicle issues. With their help we were able to fix problems in 2 of our vehicles: would recommend their service to anyone. Such kind individuals with hearts to serve. Mahalo

Brexton was super knowledgeable and helpful. He found the battery type I needed for my 4Runner and then explained specs and warranty for each brand. Really impressed with the service here.

AutoZone is like the Nordstrom‘s of auto parts. The service was top notch. They installed a new battery for me. I was in and out in 15 minutes, outstanding. A special shout out to the general manager,what a professional!

Just wanted to give a shoutout to Aina and Chance on 6/21. Super helpful Loco Braddahs and excellent customer service. First came in for some headlights, ended up needing a new battery. Had some problems in getting my battery out but was able to remove it after some grease n man power. Mahalo nui again, definitely will be coming back to you guys!

Definitely a 5 star experience. The staff was beyond pleasant beyond helpful beyond accommodating. My husband and i are older and the respect that they displayed toward us was so awesome. They informed us of all the specials and discounts that came with our products. Definitely my new car spot!!

Needed a battery for daughter's Subaru came here early morning met Chris the manager and Rose in sales and they were able to hook me up to fix the car. Chris came out and help remove the battery and installed the new replacement and did a terrific job. Highly recommend this store for any of your auto parts and service needs in Lihue.

Customer Service has a lot to be desired...The store clerk was accomodating and helpful. However, a receipt was supposed to be emailed to me and was never received. Yes, I did check my spam. When calling store for questions, basically told can't do anything and NOT HELPFUL AT ALL! No apologies and no service after you buy product!!! UPDATE: Customer service online was very excellent. Thank you.

Thanks for helping me out today! I purhased a new battery and Jesse helped me remove my old battery and replace the new one. We didnt have the correct tool and Jesse went out of his way to find the proper tool. Jesse really took care of me and got me back on the road pretty quick. If you are in a bind the auto zone lihue team will really try and help you.Thanks again Jesse.

We had a really great experience today handling a battery issue at AutoZone. We were helped by Chris Breheny who was just pleasant and helpful right off the bat. He not only explained the battery issue but went the extra mile to offer the best and fastest option to get us on our way. He also ended up saying my husband some additional $ ontop of honoring the warranty. He was also just so friendly offering advice on other car related matters ontop of sharing friendly island advice once he found out we were new to the island. Our battery issue could have gone terribly wrong but Chris was able to diagnose and fix it right away.

The AutoZone team in Lihue provided me the best customer service. The check engine light came on in my van. In 5 minutes they were able to read the computer notes. Diagnose the problem and give me a quote on the repairs. Outstanding.

My battery went dead while at Costco getting late minute supplies for hurricane Douglas. Stopped and had the battery checked. The sales person was so kind. He was eager to help, installed a new battery of my choice after showing me all my choices. Even though the bad weather he was kind. I recommend anyone who needs Auto parts to go to AutoZone first.

These guy's were great. My truck wouldn't start at the gas station after 45 minutes of driving. I push started my truck and made it to Autozone. The staff tested my battery and replaced it. The whole repair was done in about 10 minutes. I will go back they were great. Thank you. 7/1/2019

Hey guys thank you again so much for your help yesterday. Came in to get a battery and they actually installed it for me no charge. They had it done within 15 minutes. And the price was better than NAPA which is where we normally go. Thank you guys for being so helpful and hard-working. We just moved to the islands and are very pleased to know this is where we can come if we need help.
