The worker was knowledgable and nice. And was empathic to the situation I was in. The only part that was a challenge was the street was narrow and had cars parked lining both sides so passage was difficult with only enough room for one car to travel at a time and you hoped you would not meet someone coming from the other direction. and parking was a bit of a walk.
It's difficult to find an honest and competent mechanic these days but Tracy at Cherokee Auto is exactly that. I made the mistake of towing my vehicle to an either incompetent or nefarious mechanic in Calhoun who never figured out what was wrong with my vehicle but charged me roughly $300 for nothing. I had to have it towed to Cherokee and he diagnosed it within a short period of time and fixed it for roughly the same amount I gave the other fellow. He didn't charge my anything until he knew what was wrong with it. I highly recommend this business.

I want to give a huge thank you to Cherokee Auto Repair & Towing for saving my 2007 Saturn Sky! After it suffered water damage from the October 2024 hurricane, I took it to two other mechanics, but neither could figure out the problem. I was without my car for over two months and had almost given up hope. I thought for sure I’d have to let it go, which was heartbreaking.
Thanks to the patience, diligence, and expertise of the team at Cherokee Auto, they were able to solve the issue and get my car back on the road. I can’t thank you guys enough for everything you did! Highly recommend them to anyone in need of skilled and determined mechanics.

Very thankful to the owner. Had starter issues at Buc-ee's in Calhoun. Not only did he go there and help one of my Officers get the vehicle started. He did it on the 4th of July. It shows there still are amazing people in this world....
This company is very professional, friendly & mostly compassionate with families that have horrific accidents. Tracy made it so easy and smooth to retrieve my sisters belongings from her car since she was still in the hospital at the Erlanger. He also said he & his wife would pray for my sister and us.
Fast forward a few days, we had to call him in reference to a lock out & he squeezed us into and from his schedule to unlock my car.
Tracy, we were very blessed to have you on call and help both days we needed wrecker service.
Said my vehicle was fixed charged me $280 drove it about 2 weeks it left me stranded with the same problem tried to contact him several times and left messages he would not answer the phone or return my calls I don't recommend him for anything. Having same problem but now I'm out $280 for nothing. Thanks alot Tracy.
Towed my vehicle after an accident to a local friend owned bodyshop. Insurance company was charged over $900. I am local, bodyshop local, towing company local. Max mileage towed 20 miles. Ridiculous!
Tracy was honest & fair pricing! Highly recommend his services. He fixed my whole a/c unit & had it running like brand new in my 2006 nissan altima! I will use this place again!
