No one has a clue what is going on and operator's have a slick mouth and won’t help you off load.. can’t drive the equipment probably and very very disrespectful. We had 4 guy standing around and would not help, we had heavy steel that couldn’t be moved by hand.. if you can do not go here!
I’ve been sitting here now for over an hour waiting to get unloaded and everyone to unload trailers has such an attitude and it’s very disrespectful towards customers. I asked for help and they say that I can wait if I’m in that big of a hurry then I can just leave and this is the operators not the owners or anyone in charge, but the operators have more authority than the people in the office so if they don’t feel like doing something, they’re not gonna do it such disrespectful and Hateful people
They wouldn't take my metal cause it could be stolen. They wanted a letter from the city when the metal was on private property the last 30 years that we're trying to clean up
This was my first time @ SA Recycling located in Rome, GA. and it turned out to be a super positive experience.
The attendant - Jennifer - was super friendly, informative, patient and made this experience a plus.
The crane operator worked his magic with the “crane claw” which required little effort from me in respect to unloading my trailer.
When I have more to recycle, I will definitely return to SA Recycling.

Always super friendly, excellent with directions, and ovegrall easy breezy experience. Just ask someone a question if you get confused. Been several times. Fascinating to watch machinery. Easy. Fast. Highly recommend. Closest Recycler to Rome, GA.
Great place, very friendly and helpful. The first trip is a bit overwhelming, as knowing where to go and what the process is can be hard. Thankfully, the team is happy to answer questions and guide you in the right direction. Will definitely be back.
I called everybody in this vacemity and s and a had the best prices by far on copper and alluinum barely got there before 3 45 and they was great helped me unload showed me where to go the whole mine yards was really helpful will b back thank u s amd a recycling
Don't go there. I took a stove and refrigerator to them today that should have weighed at least 500 pounds and they only paid me for 300. I will go to anniston scrap from now on. Anywhere but there. They probably pay their friends leave all the "GREAT" reviews.
A woman that works in behind the winter at the scrapyard is an exceptionally nice lady and helps 100% And The Crew outside is real courteous and I will be visiting them again very soon

I would never use them again. Their employees addressed me as "white boy" was not professional at all. What makes it worse I had 2 small children in the truck and the guy seemed liked he was going to get violent. I loaded 300lbs of aluminum back on my truck and left. It was all over a non ferrous steel bucket lid that fell in the driveway. Use anniston metal from now on.
The lady brook below is on every recycling center's review saying the exact same thing downing these companies. This is why noone goes by reviews anymore. This company is good to their customers and a great place to go.
The problem with All the local metal recycling centers is that you are made to drive through compacted debris that may contain sharp metals, nails, screws etc. Over the same area heavy tractor equipment travels, no matter how much content you have. It may not be worth replacing or plugging tires over a few dollars. Thats been my experience because I have had slow leaks and discovered sharp objects in my tires close proximity to the time I visited the center and made the quess that it was most likely due to the visit. I wish there was a way to not circle through that area with my personal vehicle. Its just a risk you'll have to weigh for yourself. I will say the other metal recycle close to Broad street is much worse. You actually drive through ruts and mud puddles and have to back yourself out so I guess this is the best of the 2 places from my experience.
My husband takes scrap and aluminum cans here year after year. Everything runs so smoothly here. In and out without spending the whole day.
