Terrible experience!!! My insurance took my car here they lied and say they didn’t until the next day I called and asked can I clean my car. They told me yes I can and they literally stole everything out my car including my kids Christmas gift!!!! Literally to the point I had to call the police!!! Please please please don’t allow your car to get dropped off! Disgusting establishment

I was in a terrible crash and the staff here was so caring and supportive and answered all my questions over the phone. I was unable to get my stuff out of the car and the manager went way above to help me. Wasn’t expecting an accident and my insurance used this company but if it happened again I would definitely use them.

When I called, I was informed that there were no additional fees for using debit/credit card. When I got there, I was charged those fees. They'd removed the tag and I didn't notice until I got home. You would think there would be a note in the system to remind them to return the tag. Had to go back to pick it up.

One of their tow drivers stolen hundreds of dollars worth of cards from the backseat of my car after it was towed here. ***BEWARE 100% LOSER BUSINESS OPERATED BY THIEVES***

Do not trust this place with your vehicle! After my car was wrecked, I went to retrieve my personal belongings and discovered that multiple items were missing. When I asked about it, I was given the runaround and no real answers. This place is dishonest and untrustworthy—beware if you have to deal with them! They should be held accountable for taking personal property from vehicles.

Wouldn’t recommend this place unless you want your stuff stolen out of your car, including my registration, and them to scratch your car really badly with their forklift. They also removed my tag off my car and we had to ask for it back. Asked them about my stolen items and they said “sorry”. I wish you the best of luck if your car has to unfortunately be towed here.

Wheewww! Where to start! Jasmine customer service skills lacking extreme and offensive then kept asking my membership info—I asked for a manager 4 times before was transferred to Ashley with a whole lotta “I don’t knows” to my questions as I am reading verbatim on website details.. please re-train, send back to school, and in the meantime have some other employees handling outbound calls. The lack of basic skills and knowledge I received from your employees was an embarrassment. Poor reflection of Copart.

Purchased a vehicle that was a run and drive according to the listing. When the shipping company dropped it off, the motor was locked up. So since it left the yard, they can't do anything for you. Everyone be careful buying cars from copart.

Some of the people working here have great customer service and I greatly appreciate them, but there happens so be a lot with terrible terrible customer service. I called for a simple question and was talked over the whole time before the person could even listen to what I wanted to say.

Driving through Atlanta traffic I missed my appointment by an hour. Arrived at the Copart facility at 9:25am. Had 3 appointments. 8:30am 9:00am, and 10:30am. I began by saying good morning and greeting Brittney. I explained to Brittney I got caught up in traffic. I Informed her I still had 2 other active appointments, however I missed a appointment for 8:30. 1 of those active appointments were for the same customer of the missed appointment. Her attitude and demeaneor changed so quickly I don’t know how to explain it. She informed me their was nothing that could be done. The lot was short staffed and missed appointments were a complete loss. I informed her I traveled 5 hours 1 way and that I was willing to wait all day if needed, pay extra, whatever except for not getting the vehicle. She stated “THEIR IS NOTHING WE CAN DO IF YOU MISSED YOUR APPOINTMENT. WE ARE SHORT STAFFED AND THEY DONT HAVE TIME TO FIT YOU IN IF YOUR APPOINTMENT HAS BEEN MISSED YOU CANT GET THE VEHICLE”. I again tryed to plead with her It’s early in the morning and it’s only 1 car and I still not been loaded with the other 2. After trying to plead with this inconsiderate manager I walked out the door. My dispatcher called in to speak with the GM. My dispatcher explained the situation and Brittney again said not sure why you want to talk to the GM theirs nothing they can do either. Once my dispatcher spoke with Sara, Sara was understanding and reset the appointment for us 🤷🏽♂️. Sara I rappreciate you understanding the circumstances unlike Brittney and actually giving a d*mn about us transporters out here. I’ve never met a more cold hearted person in my life like Brittney. I pick up from Copart’s everywhere and every location I’ve ever ran into a problem they always come up with a solution. If their had been less people in the office or I would’ve had more cash on me at the time I would’ve tipped ever single person in the office but Brittney to show a point of appreciation. Shame on you BRITTNEY!!!!! Upon leaving she had a sour as look on her face. The lot wasn’t packed either making her look even more of a disappointment as a manager.

Purchased a car from this location, wrote "starts", but turns out the engine was blown, had two holes in the block, did not even spin over. Paid top dollar for the car, needed mostly the engine from it.

Management and employees damage cars they want to keep on purpose. They damaged my my car nothing was wrong with it just stolen. They salvaged it with there fork lift.so they can pay cheap for vehicle and keep for selfs. This a schem they been doing for years. Insurance filed a claim without me even knowing. Nore did they call and tell me they damaged my vehicle They tried to sneak it to the collision without telling me the forklift damaged it. Horrible place. Never would recommend. Plus they steal out your car. Run from this place.

This is the worst location and these lousy workers bring a company so much bad reputation. This lady I spoke with that runs her mouth like parrot wasn’t even being professional rather talking sarcastically and talking and yelling. She needs to be fired because she sounds like she hates her job. This same lady was the person that told me I don’t get charged storage fees the first 3 days I made a purchase not knowing they have been charging me.

worst copart in the country. if you make an appointment to pick up a car, you still wait 4 hrs to get your car. you all need to get your facility organized and hire more workers yo get the job done in a timely manner

The ladies that helped me get my car tag were very nice & helpful. Only negative was trying to call bf driving there. No one ever answered phone & then after being on hold, hung up. It's a very busy place, lots of tow trucks, 18 wheeler transports, & vehicles, so parking is limited.

If I could give this company a negative rating I would. They were scheduled to pick up my car on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 between 8am - 12pm. I specifically told these people that I will be going to work in the afternoon. It's now 4:33pm and I have yet to see these people. Not only that but their receptionist is very rude and needs serious customer service training. She does not know how to talk to customers. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I called several times to make sure my car was covered since the interior is leather. They assured me SEVERAL times that it was…..LIES! When they delivered my car the interior had standing water AND my leather seats are damaged from being wet. All of the decorations are gone! They are roguish and thieves! During drop off the guy didn’t say a word just dropped the car in the middle of the yard and left….no confirmation, no paperwork….nothing! MAKE SURE YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY DOES NOT WORK WITH THEM AND IF THEY DO REFUSE THE SERVICE UNLESS YOU CAN TAKE YOUR CAR ELSEWHERE!!!!

They are thieves. They took advantage of my totaled car by stealing my sneakers I stored in the trunk and even face masks I stored in my center console! The office ladies repeatedly said they don’t open the trunk and don’t deal with any belongings, when the trunk was clearly opened with things thrown inside such as papers in my glove box, floor mats, etc. More than likely they don’t know anything or are complicit with what happens in the yard with the people who actually handle the wrecked cars. They are partnered with Geico so if you have an opportunity to get your car towed and inspected somewhere else please, please do so. I know for a fact that they don’t respond to these reviews and that it probably hardly affects them so let this just be a warning to anyone who has to deal with a wrecked car.

I had a total loss vehicle taken here. The staff were nice on the phone and in person. They made it easy and quick to get my belongings from the vehicle and pull the bike rack off the back. They helped make a difficult situation a little simpler.

I have a vehicle that was taken here through an insurance company, I have to go get my personal belongings and I read reviews that said that things were missing from people's vehicles. I called to let them know that I knew this and the lady who answered they to give this spiel about how they don't pick the cars up from the accident site and they are the last ones to get the vehicle so whatever happens at the place before them is not on them. Well ma'am YOUR LOCATIONS reviews say that things were stolen. I went and made sure that my things were still in my vehicle at the last location so it would definitely be on this locations head. I'm headed there now so we'll see.

I would give them zero stars if I could but I can’t. I called to sell my car to them and I was told that someone will come & get my car in 30 minutes to an hour & with a check. I spent the whole day waiting on them. They came bout 5 hours after telling me the first time it would take no more than an hour. Every time I try calling to get an update they kept hanging up on me. There was only one young lady that was helpful but I don’t remember her name. I wasted my whole day waiting on them. I would not recommend anybody to do business with them.

I really love copart its an amazing place to bid and buy cars, but I have one thing that I need the owner of this copart lot know about, is that lately when I buy cars from the Atlanta south copart I get the car with an additional damage to it, so far this happened 2 times and I really hope it doesn't happen again. I bought a car and when I looked at the pictures which I will include, the car doesn't have any damge at that place, surprisingly when I picked up the car the door and the quarter panel where having damge on them... Which is kind of disappointing of what a long time member would expect. If this continues to happen then I wouldn't recommend buying the cars from this location. From what I have find out is that the damge was done during the selling time after the pictures were taken and before I picked up the car, I don't mean that it was meant to be happening at all, all I mean is that it might be something like the forklift, or something else, and copart should be accountable for it. Thank you and hope you understand that this is business and each dollar count's.

If you ever bring your car here, do not leave anything inside the cabin. It is really shameful this car lot stole items out of my car when it was brought here. Missing phone, checkbook, work materials, shoes, locks. The only thing they didn't steal was all the trash in my trunk. They kept saying it was other people, but there are 8 photos on file from vehicle arrival. I am truly disappointed this place could do this. Had to file a police report with Henry County. Looks like it has been happening for years.

I purchased a vehicle and schedule a trucking company to pick up. He tried making an appointment through the app service and was unsuccessful. He called me and I called the yard only to be put on hold waiting to speak to the yard manage/supervisor.i am currently on hold for 1:54 minutes. I called using another phone and spoke to a rep name Brittney who informed me that there's nothing that can be done and if the vehicle incur storage fees it will be my problem,. I advise her i have the driver at the yard. I then asked if i can re-list the vehicle then, she said no it can't be done because it's already been paid for. Please be aware before you purchase vehicles from this yard because they are out to keep your vehicles and charge you storage fees. I've been buying vehicle for years with copart and this is the worst location i've ever had to deal with. I'm still on hold 1:58 mins.Bad Business on their part. Will update my review if I ever get my vehicle and the amount it cost me too.

Went to pick up a purchased item as I read there are storage charges if items are not picked up in three days. Rushed over from the other side of town because I read on the website and pick up information that they are not open on weekends although they count weekend days in the storage fee. It says they are open until 5pn and no where did it say that you have to pick up before 4:30pm. I spoke with one lady and explained that I could only get it that day and it would take 5 minutes. She explained their policy ( not posted nor could I find it in my documents). Luckily I was not traveling far and could come back next week but she said they would not be able to waive the storage fees. Many people check Google maps for directions and hours - it would help to take this in account when providing hours. Lastly I was able to schedule my pickup via kiosk.copart.com although that didn't not do any good either.

If I could give no stars, I would. They’re partnered with my insurance company, and my totaled car was brought to their lot. They specifically told me they go inside the car to move things to the trunk, and when I went to retrieve my items, some things were missing. Expensive items I wasn’t able to carry off from the scene of accident so I had to leave in the car until I could pick it up. Brittany (manager) was of no help, not to mention rude. And all they did was point fingers at everyone else even though they told me specifically their workers go inside of the car to move things. The tow company that my vehicle was at first does not touch anything inside as their job was to just drive my car to the tow lot and release it to Copart.

This is a place that is very disappointing to do business with. To be fair, I had no problem as a business owner with other branches of Copart. I purchased a vehicle lot # 31820769 since May 24, 2019, to date no title and they are non responsive when requesting that they buyback the vehicle. It is a long and very bad story, it is unfortunate that even when reaching any agreement they retract very quickly. If not resolved, I am going to file a law suit and publish all of my communications with that branch. Terrible experience and I am still hopeful that someone in their main headquarter office will read this and get in touch for helping us. Copart Copart, we are customers . I have written this after trying all options, my forwarder shipping-company is a third party witness to the whole seen.

Avoid!!!! Selling cars but not putting an accurate description of what is wrong with the car on their listing. Manager of the Ellenwood GA location has a bad attitude and she won’t help you. Purchased a car where Copart put side damage on the listing description....come to find out the car needed a complete new rear suspension. $2,000 for a new rear suspension!!!!! The pictures that you see of the broken parts are just some of the parts that had to be replaced.....spindle, axle, control arms, shocks, transfer case and the list goes on . The pictures that you see here are after the mechanic replaced the entire rear suspension but when I picked the car up from Copart the back right tire was leaning out. Buyer beware, they will hide behind their “as is” policy when their employees don’t put an accurate description about what is wrong with their cars and they won’t take the car back.

Went yesterday to collect my personal property from my totaled vehicle... Tons of stuff missing. All of my tools, jumper cables, and car maintenance stuff were gone. They've been nothing but uncommunicative and uncooperative since the get-go, with the exception of the woman at the desk when I arrived yesterday (she was actually nice). This company has cost me so much money it's unbelievable. As if having someone destroy my vehicle and mess up my body wasn't enough to deal with... Now I have at least a thousand dollars of extra expense to replace my belongings and pay for extended car rental because these people can't be bothered to do their jobs in a timely manner or keep themselves from stealing. I had no choice in the matter when it came to doing business with them... If you have a choice... Go elsewhere.
