We arrived at 4:30, and no one wanted to help us unload. I told them they were mean and mean. They got angry and chased me away, hurling insults. Everyone told me to get off the property, that they were the owners.
Scammers. I had a few Mercedes catalytic converters. After all kinds of ID requirements they offer me $15. A few minutes later, I sold them for $75 each in Pickens county.
I’ve been going to this recycling place for years.. i own a local business auto repair shop have cleaned my shop used this place for 5+ years.. my guess is the tone have changed horrible customer service.. Im sad having to write a review like this for another local business.. please avoid your self the headaches find another place to take your stuff..support business that appreciate there customers .. we make business function and stay around for a long time..
I've been coming here for quite sometime and I love this place, BUT the last 2 times I've came the 2 women that weigh the cans are extremely rude and actually screamed at me and my disabled husband, we had other stuff to scrap, but I'm taking my business somewhere else, they both have nasty attitudes and quite frankly should be fired, we will go to Priest in Jasper, GA from now on because they don't treat people like that!! I will never recommend them from now on, it's unfortunate because the sweet woman that cuts the checks is super sweet and patient!!
I usually bring around 10k to 15k lbs of assorted scrap each year to royal because of how close they are to canton. But unfortunately today i brought 43lbs clean aluminum and recieved about $10. Very upsetting because i spent alot of time removing all the steel from it. Ill be going to other local yards from now on. And i only give 2 stars because royal is usually clean.
Josh b you must have done something bad or was very rude to them because they have let me come through the gate and dump my trailer about 5 to 10 minutes before they close they are awesome, honest, caring, hardworking people so don't be talking bad about them I've known them ever since they first opened so keep ur negative comments to your self Royal recycling y'all rock keep up the good work
Very rude staff. Arrived before close only for them to say they close at 17:00. They guy actually pulled out his phone to confirm his statement only to see that it was in fact not 17:00. He then gave an excuse that they actually close 15 minutes before the posted closing time with a smirk on his face. He was not apologetic and rather rude. This business should update their operating hours as they are clearly inaccurate.
THE BEST-AROUND metal recycler to sell your scrap metal for a more-than-fair price! They pay well & don't rush you thru like many of the other places. The folks who work here are honest, helpful & personable. You don't have to wonder if you're getting steel prices for your aluminum! I don't even live in Ball Ground anymore but I won't go elsewhere! Why would I when this is where I get the ROYAL treatment!
