I was charged $381 for front and rear brakes that only cost $54 a piece in the parts store and another $50 or free for someone to put them on i was overly charged for sure and then they didn’t even put new roters on and they are bad i only did it because i had to get back and forth to work plus do other things so i was desperate at the time but i knew i was overly charged its such a shame how people will get over on you and half do their job when we all out here trying to make it
Great environment. Courteous ,efficient. Got my car in for service and they got right on it as promised. Didn't do what every other place does by adding un-needed services. Very respectful. And best price around and very thorough in job performed. I will definitely be taking my car to them from now on. Would rate 10 stars if I could
Had my son's car towed to get fixed and had a great experience! Not from the area so I was a little concerned thankfully every went well and the price was fair 👌🏽
I had a good experience getting my brakes and rotars changed here. They were friendly and quick with getting the job done, while managing to do a good job. Would definitely recommend!

I was stranded, 2 hours from home, which is north of Chattanooga. J&J got me diagnosed, fixed, and back on the road in under three hours by working me in around their other appointments. It turned out to be a broken alternator bracket, which normally would be a day wait because there is no nearby Honda dealer. But, because Mr. Jimmy has great relationships in the community, he got the bracket fixed at a specialty welding shop nearby. J&J has the latest lifts, tools, computer diagnostics, expertise, and other features of a big place with the down-home friendliness of a family business that has help people for three generations, almost 65 years. I talked with the other customers I met that day, and they appreciated J&J as much as I did. If, like me, you need someone in an emergency. J&J is the place. And if you need a regular mechanic, look no further. I was desperate and can't fully express how grateful I am for all they did for me--and at a fair price.
My vehicle broke down late one night and I got it towed to J & J. They checked it out the following morning and called me with a price to fix it. The price was very reasonable and two hours later my vehicle was ready to go. Very fast service !! These guys did a great job. Would recommend !! 10/10
Great place and wonderful prices but mostly a timely repair. Staff has a pleasant attitude and they are willing to work with you on the cost of repairs. Love the family atmosphere. Won't trade them for anything.
I have a 02 Honda Accord that needed a tune up bad and he did it with a little over an hour. What took the longest I think was he was calling parts in and did the repair within like 20 mins. He was nice and quick.
He refused to service my Jeep, I was stunned. He said they plug in to the OBD connector and fix what it says. Since mine did not have that, they weren't willing to diagnose the old way. Lazy if you ask me. Even if that is their rule due to being busy (not the case), at least don't be grouchy about it.
Worst experience EVER! Rude and was wanting to charge double. When we asked about the price he became overly rude and immediately told my husband to come and pick up his car. Told him he would not work on it and said "nobody questions my pricing" and then hung up the phone on us.
My husband called back to apologize since we clearly offended him by simply asking if we could get the price lower. He refused to move forward with us and thank goodness. We got our belt fixed for less than half of what Jimmy quoted us.
Jimmy was the worst mechanic I've ever dealt with and possibly just as bad a human being. I was driving from Douglasville to Villa Rica to drop my dad back off at his house and I had a belt break on me. I was able to get AAA to tow it within 5 miles of Mirror Lake Publix. I had heard good things about J & J so decided to get it dropped off there. It was Sunday evening so I had to wait and call Jimmy the next day.
I called Jimmy and he said he would look at it and make sure it was just the belt and not anything else. He called me back and told me that it would be $160 just to replace the belt. That seemed high to me, so I asked if there was anything we could do on the price, like me buying the belt and bringing it up there.
That's when Jimmy got belligerent. He told me that he would not work on my car and that I could come and get it. I was confused and asked him why and apologized that I had accidentally offended him. He continued to tell me that I looked down on him for getting his hands dirty and that he wouldn't work on the car. My best friends work in construction, plumbing and other blue collar jobs. I asked him if we could start over and he could help out as one human being to another. He then started making racial slurs about Jewish people. I finally told him that I didn't want to do business with him anyways and took my car to a different mechanic that replaced my belt for a much better price.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS MAN. He is unreasonable and obviously a racist person.
