Hibiscus said they would tow away my junk car, but they didn't show up. I called again, they apologized and promised to come the next day. Again, no show! I tried a third time with the same results. I rate them two stars for being friendly on the phone, but they aren't reliable for towing. Edit: I explained the title issue on the first phone call. If that was the problem, they should not have told me that they would tow the car. They didn't mention title concerns on the second or third phone call.

Bring your car to have it repaired and it takes months to get fixed (4 months). He lies about pricing as well. I would avoid this company at all cost!

This is a belated Thank you and Kudos to Tony and the Hibiscus technicians. We brought our 2020 Chevy SUV to Hibiscus in June 2025 for a serious AC repair, and they did an excellent job. Completed the repair in 2 days as promised and for much less than a dealer and another service center quote. Tony and his crew clearly take great pride in their work. He showed us a video of our car, before, during and after the repair. They had to remove the entire dashboard and front seats! When we picked up the car, some loose change and a towel, which had been under the seats, were neatly placed on the back seat. How is that for being trustworthy and respectful?! We wouldn't hesitate to return for future repairs. We strongly recommend Tony for quality work at best price around.

Tony and his staff there are great. Always does a great job and at a fair price.

I forgot to initially post a review. They replaced my radiator in one day without appointment, then fixed all of my lights and other things that needed to be addressed on my vehicle. These people are the best in town. Thanks again Tony

Brought my truck in for a full fluid flush and spark plugs. I travel a lot so it was important that it was done in a single day. Had my truck back in the afternoon. Polite staff, good service! Would recommend to set up an appointment beforehand if you have time sensitive work or maintenance that needs done.

This place is amazing. I'm a pizza delivery driver, so my car needs a lot of love. I've gone to pretty much every mechanic in the area. These guys... They're freaking amazing. I'm never going to go anywhere else for as long as I live here. They've been in service for like 30+ years (although I think it was more than that). It's family owned, and the crew is always so friendly. I've been going here for a few months, and I feel bad that I'm only just now writing this review, because they certainly deserved it long ago. I know nothing about cars, but they don't screw me over in any way, heck, they do the opposite. - When I had my headlights replaced, it worked well for a few days, but I ended up having problems (my car is junk, and not very rain proof), when I brought it back to get fixed up again, they didn't charge me a penny, and even when they did it the first time, I was even surprised how little it had cost me. -I went in later for my alternator, my more car savvy friends told me that was the problem, even worked on my car a bit. These guys at Hibiscus told me what the problem actually was, and fixed my friends mistake, and when I pulled my wallet out, the owner says "ah, no charge, don't worry about it, I'll see you again next time" with a big ol' while. They could've legit sold me an alternator, sold me hours, and charged me out the butt, I even gave them the go ahead, but they didn't charge me a dime. I'm an anxious mess, and even I love coming here. It legit feels like I'm part of the family

Called to have a wheel hub replacement during the week. The owner said we are open on Saturday, bring it in in the morning and we can get it on. Showed up with the stated amount and the part; the owner let me sit in the office while the part was installed. Quick, simple and easy mechanical work done at fair prices.

Went here a couple months ago and the service is amazing. They are so kind and truly get you the best deal and give you the best work. Replaced my starter and kept it at a reasonable price. I’ve had no issues since. My neighbor told me about this place when I was having car trouble, and now I’ll go there forever. I got my boyfriend to go there too and they’ve been so helpful with his truck. Super reasonable price and great work on his truck. Any time my friends or family mention car troubles the first thing I tell them is to go here!

This is a fantastic business, run by wonderful people. I had a great experience with Hibiscus, when my starter went out on a business trip. That's a weird sentence, but it's true. The service was top quality, but even just talking with Tony was enjoyable. Would definitely break down in Edgewater again.

Transparent and very reasonable pricing. They don't push unnecessary repairs on you, if it's not broken or don't need fixing they will suggest to leave it. The quality of their work is top-notch and they give warranty for the repairs that they've made.Their facility is clean and organized, which explain how efficient the service is (in and out quick!). I broke down on I-95 and had my car towed here. This was the absolute best service I have ever gotten. The people were super helpful and friendly! I had to wait there for someone to come get me and they were very hospitable while I waited. This place was an absolute God send to me. I couldn't be more thankful. I wish there were more people like that in this world we'd definitely live in a much better place it it we're. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Amazing place. Was stranded in the middle of a long multi-day drive and Tony, the owner, went way out of his way to help and not just with the car. He had the kindness to come in on his day off and fix what I needed. Gave me a really generous price too. Do not hesitate in choosing him!

I had a great experience using this shop! I am so glad I found them and the good reviews don't lie. The shop owner, his wife, and everyone there was awesome. Tony was so kind, friendly, and HONEST! I went there for two things, one being brakes. He told me that my brakes were still good rather than just put new ones on just to charge me as he easily could have. The other work I needed was fair priced and he got me in and out quickly after making an appointment. Tony himself also looks over every car once it is completed to ensure the quality of the work. It's hard to find a good mechanic that is trustworthy and where I feel comfortable as a woman going to their shop. This is the one. I can tell they truly care about their customers and they are well known and respected in the area. I highly recommend him and will recommend him to friends and family. Very nice people who own this Family Business. They are fair here and honest. They have been taking care of my mother recently, and I just brought my car here. I will recommend this shop to anyone who needs their car issues fixed, and doesn't want the BS charges a lot of shops give you.

Customer service is not lost on these folks. They know how to treat people, which is a rare bonus in addition to the shop’s incredibly knowledgeable and skilled staff. after many bad experiences with people and mechanics , moving here not knowing many people , I was sent I truly believe by the lord! I cant brag enough about the compassion and great work tony and his workers do! After being taken advantage of by lots people I have sat around in his business and watched how busy and how people r like family and so happy with him as a person in general and his great work! Have never seen such a busy business as he has 2 places open now! Both full daily! one thing I want to remind people! If u buy used parts or buy used tires etc if somethings wrong its not the business sometimes used part etc r bad and u cant tell until u put them in! He always I say always makes it right with his customers I witnessed it! And gives warranty with work! He had me come in and showed me personally what was going on with my car after 3 different stories from other mechanics! And he diagnosed and looked at it right away until he could get it in! None will beat his prices and his compassion for his customers and good work! He and his family r great Christian people and kind hearted! I am truly blessed in many ways that the lord guided me to this business and tony!
