Just showed up with over $1,000 worth of copper air conditioning coils and number two copper. It's 9:30 on Saturday morning, according to google you guys are open till 11:45. Y'all need to fix your Google listing. Gates were locked and no one was there. I already wasn't thrilled with pricing as you guys are paying $2.60 a pound for number one copper, but I was going to take the loss since you guys are open on Saturday (supposed to be anyways). Big Iron in fort Walton is paying $3.20 a pound, metal recyclers in fort Walton is paying $3.30 a pound. I scrap a lot of air conditioning equipment and copper tubing as I'm a HVAC contractor. I will take my business elsewhere from here on out.

Told me on the phone they take car batteries but when I get there, they tell me they only take two.

Very clean efficient operation! Pays fair prices for all scrap metals and recyclable batteries.

First visit since SA recycling took over have been using Milton iron for many years will not go back metal prices are 10 cents a lb low end they paid 5.5 not again

This is a great place to recycle all your metals. Their front office is clean and the staff are nice, and in the big shop next door, I take my aluminum cans to recycle, but they take all kinds of metal so if you have a lot of scrap metal, this is your local goto business in Milton to get that stuff recycled and make a few $$ bucks $$ on it, while also helping keep our environment nicer!! Great business and highly recommended for local metal recycling!!

Stay away. This was my first time and my last time going to this place. They are straight up crooks. I took them an air compressor I know for a fact that it weighs 400 lbs and they said it only weighed 200 lbs. on top of that they paid me $5/100 lbs when everywhere else is like $10/100 lbs. Long story short they gave me $10 which isn’t even enough to get my brand new truck washed after driving around their nasty yard when I could taken it to Pensacola and got about $40 for it.

Very rude … we had a central unit that we tore apart. We separated the materials and we got ripped off bad . They gave us 30 bucks for everything which was not fair. We tried to get the materials back and was told no . They were not even carful when removing the materials from our vehicle. Definitely will not be going back ….. it was such a big waste of time and a huge headache.

Very friendly, fair and nice folks work here now. In my business dealings with Milton iron they have always been fair and totally upfront with me, and I really appreciate that. But the fact is that the laws which are forced upon them and all their customers make everything about buying and selling scrap difficult.

First time here and last. Definitely don't go here. Had me dump all of my own stuff just to tell me he is only going to give .08 when the average at the other local yards was .20 then was told boss sets the prices. You don't get your prices from the national price list???

This place is a complete rip off, recently i rented a trailer to help a close friend move a four-wheeler and they paid me in a ton of mixed scrap metal that in turned filled that trailer and when i went to turn it in the people there were very unhappy with me because it wasnt separated which i had no knowledge of having to do or how to do it for that matter as this was my first time ever attempting to scrap and i dont know anything about it i received $21 for the whole load which i was not happy about. A week later my parents gave me a truck load of pop/beer cans which filled one of this places dumpsters and the people here were unhappy with me again because the cans were bagged and it took a min to remove bags for processing which again i was unaware of having to do and i received $35 for that load. I will never use this place again if i ever decide to give scrap another try. Beware if you are a complete noob please seek out someone experienced to teach you the ropes and then take your bounty elsewhere, i really hate posting stuff like this but at the same time i dont want anyone else to relive my experience.

First time using this place. Get weighed in and guy says he'll radio someone to come help. We had a 5x8 trailer loaded with random stuff. Thanked him and headed to unload. No one came to help. We ended up doing it all ourselves. Weighed 1480 and got $89. When checking out mentioned we had more stuff and we'd have to cut it down so we could handle it. Lady inside says how all we have to do is ask and they'd help. We'll, why did no one come assist this time when it was told we'd get it? Leaving before us was a semi who didn't check his trailer before he left. Had stuff dangling over the side. Hope no one got hurt from it.

As always very friendly and very easy to deal with. Quick in and out because of the attentive workers.

The guy that's bald with a beard has such a nasty disposition. He should work in the back and never see any customers. How could he ever be a supervisor?????

Be careful this place will try to screw you theythey will they will not give you your full amount they will try to screw you trust me I have been screwed by this company twice already

It's been a while since I cashed in metal and metal prices have definitely went up but they paid the same for #1 and #2 copper,which didn't seem right, and they paid less than rumors on the street said they would pay. The guy running the magnet crane was pretty talented though, he unloaded my iron load and didn't even touch my truck with the metal.

Very organized and friendly. I've done business with them a few times and never had any complaints about them myself

My experience at a scrap yard is always delightful and amusing because of Mark the gentleman who weighs me in he always has a great attitude a wonderful smile and a funny joke! The only reason why I don't give a full five stars is because the prices in Pensacola are significantly higher so I can only give it four stars but I'm not going to lie it's mostly because Mark is so awesome!!

Everyone there was very helpful and you could tell they actually wanted to be there. I will def go back.

I have 20 aeroplane wings I needed gone so we called and asked what we would get per pound they said they would call back and never did. instead of taking all at one time we decided to take 1 and see if they would give us what it was worth 5 dollars is all they gave us they lost out on alot of business and money to be made do not do business with them.

Every time i went great service treated you like a friend they had my truck unloaded in about 15 minutes

Told me i had to leave the yard to separate a piece of metal... My metal on the scale was being weighed but with the next guys load , hopefull they caught this on camera. Had the staff been there the whole time, or had enough staff on hand this would have never happened. Most the staff are great people, they just have to deal with idiots and thieves... Worst visit I've had and i can't say who is to blame other than myself for trusting people actually were still honest, will change my rating if see something being done about this

Easy access. That's about it. I was warned they will rip you off. I did not listen and they got me. I took all day Sunday to ensure everything was clean and separated they still have me lowest price. Do not go here. I recommend looking at Pensacola locations.
