Kyle and the crew are amazing! Go above and beyond to get you in when they can. They make sure you’re taken care of 100% they are the only shop will deal with and they now service my wife’s suv as well. Many shops around here nickle and dime you to death these guys are straight forward and I recommend them to everyone I run into! Brake Light went out while in town visiting family. Lenny answered the phone immediately, took our car in that morning, inspected our car, and gave us peace of mind that we were ok to continue our travels and that immediate repair was not necessary. We would recommend Safety Harbor 10 times over again!!!!!

Brought my car to Safety Harbor Auto Repair for the first time. They did a great job. Quickly and accurately diagnosed the problem, and fixed the car that day. Courteous, knowledgeable, and kept us informed with great communication throughout the process. I will be back whenever I need car service again.

I have been going to these guys for a couple of years now for my older bmw and these guys knock it out of the park every time. They are incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and are super nice too. It’s not often you find a shop with guys you can trust, but you can definitely trust these guys. They are never pushy and always give me their honest opinion when we are facing multiple options for fixes/repairs. Their pricing is unmatched as well, especially for European cars. They are always willing to work with me on time frame too. Even when they are super busy, they are awesome at getting me on their schedule quickly! Usually, same day drop off even. Either way, you can’t go wrong with these guys. I’d recommend them to anyone.

A/C compressor went out and I called 4 different auto shops in the area to get quotes. Lenny at Safety Harbor Auto Repair called me back with a quote in about an hour, significantly quicker than anyone else. Even better- he had the best price! These guys got me in immediately and finished the car within a day. They even stayed late for me to pick it up after work. These guys are really nice, professional, quick, and very reasonably priced. My new go to spot for my car and recommending them to the rest of my family in the area! So glad I found them!

I had the AC go out in my car, and my regular mechanic wasn't able to do the repair. My MIL uses this place for auto repairs regularly and recommended them. I was able to drop the car off ASAP, and they fit it in the next day. They were quick, efficient, and reasonably priced, and I am so thankful for everything they did going above and beyond to keep us cool in this Florida heat.

7/13/24 Got here about 45 minutes to close while I was headed to the beach and my check engine light came on. I was super bummed but headed straight here. Everyone in the shop was super nice and polite. Kyle explained the issue calmly and extensively and I was put at ease. He was able to have his team take care of it same day! My jaw dropped. Impeccable service. Theyre reputable and know what the heck theyre doing. I highly recommend this place, and almost don't want to share this review for a local gem best kept secret ;) I would trust no one else with my vehicles. I like that the waiting area was clean, cool, had a Keurig machine (but no cups lol) music in the bay was EVERYTHING. whichever millennial mechanic it was has excellent taste in music:-) anyway on a more serious note, I so appreciate all of the guys working so diligently in the heat (also on a saturday afternoon) to save the day! Id give this business 10 stars if I could. Many thanks!! ** Update 7/20 my car was still doing the same thing on Saturday when I drove it home. Called the shop on Monday ~8am who stated owner gets in around 9 and to expect a call back then. Disappointed. Went with another shop ?

the staff were very friendly and understanding, and they even provided a complimentary pick up when it was time to sign out my vehicle, I live very close to their shop so not sure if it is a standard practice, but it was very much appreciated.

Update from 1/18/25: Just had my van worked on again (ball joints replaced & alignment) by these guys and they are just FANTASTIC PEOPLE, very kind and understanding of how important your vehicle is to you. I went by in November to have my van looked at and they figured out the issue very quickly but told me it would cost a good bit more for the repairs needed but was critical to get it done soon. Kyle quoted me a very fair price(verbally) and when I was able to bring it back in this past weekend, they honored that same quote(they remembered me and that I was struggling a bit and needed a little help at the time) The labor took them longer than they thought but they still kept the price lower. Just can’t say enough about how AWESOME these guys are!! Go see them for all of your automotive repair needs, they are TOP-notch professionals with heart. I just wanted to write a review for Kyle and all of his crew at Safety Harbor Fleet. They are a rare find in today's world. They are more than fair, honest and reputable people. He and his crew have always gone above and beyond for myself and my business. I have and will always recommend them to all of my friends, family and my customers. Absolutely amazing people. Called around to a million shops and nobody was able to help me. I came here and Kyle and his people got the job done in a few hours. Very friendly and honest. It’s like a weight lifted off your shoulders when you find a good mechanic with reasonable prices. Will be coming back as this is now my go to. Highly recommend!

I have a 2013 Buick regal turbo, and I have taken it to a few different repair shops and each was incorrectly repaired, costing me quite a bit of money and leaving me with a car that still wasn't fixed.. A friend recommended this shop to me and I decided to give it a try, not only did Kyle finally diagnose it correctly, but found the parts and handled the problem! No one could figure out my headlight, but this shop did! I drive from another county to have my car fixed here! They are THAT good!! 10 stars!!

Took my car in for an over heating issue. Turned out was a bad thermostat, replaced and the fixed the AC. Paid the bill and left happy with ice cold air blowing in my face?. Almost home and the car over heated, UGH ! Call the shop had the car towed in, they promptly looked at it again turns out was a bad thermostat. They repaired took for test drive and did not charge?. This repair shop could have said something else broke or even charged me again they didn’t. They stood behind their work and employees work. Great shop will be bring in cars from now on. Thank you for great service.

Wow. A true working garage with super competent people and Kyle as the front man--and he knows how to treat customers. But it wouldn't matter if the work was anything less than awesome. They literally rebuilt my 2008 BMW 328i using my list of 25 different services/repairs. All done, all perfect and very timely. And super fair pricing. Can't say enough good things and you know how hard it is to find a great shop! I am a client for life.

I’m not one to leave reviews. However, this business is worth it. I had a rough time with my vehicle after traveling cross country. My vehicle got checked out at my usual mechanic in SanDiego before I travelled to safety harbor. Sadly they left parts off during an oil change. Safety Harbor Auto not only replaced the parts, but saved me a bunch of money by diagnosing and resolving my car’s “actual” problem. If you want honest mechanics that work hard with exceptional customer service this is the place! They also are reasonably priced. After many AC repairs well over $2000.00 can't remember how many AC compressor were replaced, I was informed by Mike shop owner that my dashboard had to be removed to replace AC evaporato was leaking. An additional $1500.00 later my dashboard rattles, broke pieces on the dashboard off, vents are not connected and AC still not working. This shop has zero quality assurance, zero check by owner to make sure repairs are completed correctly. So I had my car serviced at dealer and it turns out that it was an aluminum AC line that runs between the rear of the motor & firewall by drivers side. Most techs that are employed there were rejects from other shops near by in Safety Harbor. On a side note Safety Harbor auto repairs ripped off my neighbor who's dying of cancer with a similar AC issue for over $2000.00 and vehicle still had a non working AC in his truck. Stay away, go to the dealer, these small shops in town will rip you off. Get it repaired at a dealership in the long run they're responsible for their work to be done correctly.

We took our car here. We had an oil leak and we were very worried it was going to be expensive. After a thorough inspection, they kept the car overnight for observation, they discovered it was just a loose gasket. They tightened the gasket at no charge. Absolutely incredible honesty. Didn’t charge us a dime. This kind of honesty and integrity still exists here! They also balanced our tires for a fair price of $40. They are true professionals. Honest and trustworthy!!! I will not go anywhere else, ever again.

I am so happy to have found this auto shop. I called last week and told Mike that I had a sound coming from the front end and was afraid to drive the car. He gave me an appointment the same day and discovered it was the control arms with the ball joints. Short story shorter, the car is repaired. Prices were fair, time promised was on target and all my concerns were addressed. I have complete confidence in recommending this shop to my friends and family. Thank you to all the mechanics that work there. They make a great team.

I love this place and everyone working there. It’s not easy to find a reliable mechanic who is also a clear communicator AND fair on price. My mom was going to a guy for years that she trusted and he retired. She didn’t know who to go to anymore. So I found this place after a big named oil change place tried to scam her out of hundreds of dollars but she called me right before she went ahead with their supposed mandatory expensive work. I was like ABSOLUTELY NOT. Had her leave and we went up to Safety Harbor Auto Repair. That was the start of a great relationship, going on a year and a half now. They fixed her right up for a very fair price & they took the time to explain to her everything that they do and what it means. We’ve been back several times for anything from head gasket repair to oil change to door handle replacement and they never fail at giving the exact same good service every time. Everyone there is very kind and they look like they enjoy working together too. ❤️

Highly recommend, they were great! Very honest and reasonable with pricing. I took my car to another shop who wanted to overcharge me and were not even sure if they would even be able to fix my AC since they could not find the leak. Mike was able to find the leak and fix my car the same day! Will definitely use them in the future!

They go the extra mile to make sure our cars are safe. Prices are extremely fair and work is done quickly. The staff is equally as good as the owners! All very good people and highly recommend them! BTW we travel from Trinity to have them work on our cars.

Fantastic! Mike and the crew gave me incredible quality, value, and attention for a great price. He was easy to work with, reliable, and has helped our family when unscheduled "tire emergencies" have popped up in the past. Sure, he's a little hard to find, so call first! But you are crazy to use those chain tire stores just because they are at high-price intersections. Mike is around the corner, and in the neighborhood. He's got my business, and should have your's too.

There is a very clear reason Safety Harbor Tire is so busy! Mike and his staff are superb! They did a jam-up job for me at a very reasonable price. Had four tires changed out with balance and a new alignment on my truck. Rides smoother and work done was flawless. Will certainly be back when the time calls for service.

Mike and his team are awesome!!! I was early for my appointment and they got me right in (4 new tires, balancing etc). I was out quickly and the entire team was nice and professional. Also they gave me a great price on brand new, name brand tires! I couldn’t be happier!
