My wife and I have been going to Danny's for over 15 years; they service both of our vehicles. We've had regular oil changes, brakes, tires, timing belts, and even once an engine replaced. Scott, the owner, and his wife are always friendly, fair, and honest. I've never been disatisfied with their work. I fully recommend Danny's! God Bless them.

Have been going to Danny’s for a couple of years. They always have treated me fairly and honestly. Just dropped my car off this past week. It was not running right. Scott looked at it as well as the technicians. While they could not determine cause of the rough running (it’s running fine now) they at least gave me an idea of what they think it may be and now we’ll wait and see if it gets worse or if it just settles in. This review is because they didn’t charge me for looking at the car and taking the time to see what it could have been. Almost every other shop would have charged me a substantial diagnostic fee even if they didn’t find anything. This not to say Danny’s gives away services but it refreshing in this day and age that they treat people fairly like back in the day. If I fix something I’ll charge you accordingly if there’s nothing to fix than no charge. Thank you Scott and Janet (front office). I’m sure you’ll have the opportunity to work on my vehicle in the near future since my car is getting up in miles and age. 5 stars out of 5

Amazing!!! My fiance's Honda Civic AC went out months ago so we decided to take it to Palm Harbor Honda where they told us it needed the entire coil replaced and would be over $2,000. Never even tried to fill the cars refrigerant for us to give him temporary cooling in the Florida heat. Decided to try out this auto shop since we have had many people tell us they are the best. They definitely are the best! Come to find out, my fiance's car didn't need a coil, and this auto shop was able to repair the car and get his AC blowing super cold air within a few hours for way less than half what Honda was charging. Thank you so much to this company, we will be taking both of our cars here from now on :)

Do not go here you will regret it!!!!!..charged me over $2000 and my vehicle still isn't fixed. They tell you one thing is wrong then 2 days later they tell you 20 things is wrong. Such a rip off and this business will not prosper much longer. They are very money hungry and break things on purpose just to get money. The mechanics are HORRIBLE!!! This place needs JESUS!!They even had one lady standing outside in tears because she had just spunt $3K with them then they was saying she had another problem!! Ill walk first before i take my vehicle back!!

I would say safety harbors best kept secret, but it's no secret at how amazing this shop is. I would go so far as to say Florida's best kept secret, because I would literally drive from anywhere outside of the counties to bring my car here. Janet and Scott have owned this business since 2007 and have ran it successfully on incredible customer service. You can feel confident leaving your car here and they will diagnose it and give you the least expensive option to fix it, and if it doesn't need to be fixed they will let you know. Not only that they're very warm and nice people, and the waiting room is very warm and cozy. It's right in downtown safety harbor, so you can literally enjoy the afternoon while you're waiting for your vehicle. I've been searching for a talented and honest mechanic practically my entire adult life and I have finally found a home for that! Don't take your car anywhere else until you have Scott look at it.

This shop is extremely fair in costs, very reliable and serious. They did a great job with my car as fast as they could. 100% recommend . This is my auto shop from now on, fair, transparent and honest (the most important)!

I have been bring my cars to Dannys for over 20 years and I can not say enough about the good work they perform on my cars. I have a 1995 Chevy Impala and a 2 year Old Buick Enclave. They are a rare find that is capable of fixing an old collectable car and brand new high tech one. I highly recommend their services !!

Now over 15 years of service on my vehicles and Scott and Janet have not changed. More than fair prices, stellar service and the most important thing is they are 1,000% honest. What a deal!!!!!!!!!

I called them the day before Thanksgiving after finding several damaged wheel studs during a tire change. I didn’t expect to be seen due to the holiday rush, but Scott said to come on in. I got five new wheel studs and a whole lot of peace of mind going in to the long weekend. They are very responsive, honest, friendly and fair there and are highly recommended!!! Thanks

This is the best car repair in pinellas county. Scott and Janet take really good care of my 2002 mini cooper s. I’ve been going to them since they we located on McMullen Booth and they are always fair priced and helpful. I just had my headlights replaced and Scott found a great deal for me at more than reasonable price. My mini can finally see. Lol. Our entire family uses them for routine maintenance and emergency repairs. We highly recommend them. Thanks so much Scott and Janet. ?

First found Danny's based on a student's recommendation. What a blessing! Very honest, excellent work, and fair pricing! I watched an older gentleman ask about getting some work done (spark plugs and radiator flush)... Janet informed him that they had looked over his records and he wouldn't need to have those done for some time, as they were recently done with his 100k maintenance; he simply needed an oil change and tire rotation. That kind of honesty in the service professions is rare today. Very thankful we found this place.

Danny's was a fantastic recommendation from family. We were traveling in from out of state and needed new tires badly. It was a Friday afternoon, and despite them already being over capacity, they stayed late to finish the cars they were working on and get back to me with options. I was able to rest knowing that once I got to the area, I had a solution I could count on. I dropped my jeep off the next day and took off on a cruise. The work was done in just two days and I picked it up the following week. On top of receiving such remarkable and seamless service, I was much impressed with the cleanliness of the lobby, comfortable seating, decor and welcome feeling. While this expense was not on our vacation to do list, I was happy that everything went smoothly and there were no bad surprises. This business is worth going to and I am grateful for them!

I went to Danny's first a number of year's ago when they were still on McMullen-Booth and quickly came to trust them. For several years afterwards I had a new vehicle with dealer maintenance included, but after turning my lease in and purchasing several used cars, Danny's is my go-to for just about anything, which I have! They're fair, honest and stand behind the service they provide. It's like taking a step back in time when business was done on a handshake because you could trust one another. While that's obviously not our world today in 2023, Danny's would have survived very well in that era. Their prices are fair and Scott and Janet have always been up front about what needs to be done, what is coming up and what to look for/expect in the future. I can't recommend them enough and plan to be a customer for years to come.

I was quoted a price for a needed repair (around $800). Dropped the car off, got the call later that it was ready. When I went to pick it up, Scott & Janet let me know that they were able to find the replacement part much less expensively - so my bill was just $411! They could have just stuck with the original quote, but they passed that huge savings to me. This is why they do ALL our auto repairs.

Had my first visit to Danny’s yesterday, they were knowledgeable and patient and they fixed the issue I was having with my windshield wipers. I typically do not use private mechanics because I have been screwed many times by other shops, but I have to admit I am happy with the work that was done at Danny’s. Update ** So, about 3 days after the repairs, the same issue occurred with my windshield wipers. I called Danny’s and Scott was very helpful. They kept the truck for 2 days and admitted the problem was proving difficult to diagnose. They gave me a refund for the repairs that didn’t solve the issue and Scott was a pleasure to work with through the whole process. I have been burned MANY times by mechanics, and it was extremely refreshing to find an honest one. I HIGHLY recommend these guys.

I have been going to Danny's for 4 years now, and I won't go anywhere else! The staff is so friendly and professional, always patient and willing to listen, explain things, and most importantly trustworthy and honest. Speaking as someone who doesn't know much about cars at all, I have never once felt like I was being taken advantage of here, they don't try to tell you that you need extra things done to your vehicle. The cost of their services is more than reasonable. Danny's has integrity and that is that reason why I always come back. I have recommended them to many people and will continue to!

Scott is excellent at troubleshooting and diagnosing issues and his estimates are always spot on. He has saved me thousands of dollars when dealerships and franchises have tried to sell me on unnecessary or incorrect repairs. The work is always done professionally and the completion date/time is always as promised. The mechanics in his shop are excellent and Janet always provides prompt and accurate updates.

I just had to write a review about this auto shop because it was such an amazing experience from the first initial phone call to finish. The waiting room area was clean and lovely and the front desk and auto professionals were friendly and attentive. I will be 100% honest and tell you I don't know a thing about fixing cars and always dread when something is wrong because I'm scared I will be taken advantage of and be charged for some unnecessary service. I had a flat tire and they not only found the leak that another car shop was unable to find - but they fixed it free of charge! There was never a moment where I felt uncomfortable or like I was being undermined by my lack of knowledge. I live in South Tampa and will somehow get my car to this shop every time there is a problem! AMAZING SERVICE & Genuine & good people. THANK YOU!

When one of the box stores told me it would cost $2000 to fix my car, I found Danny's. Turned out I only needed a new small repair costing about $175. Everyone here is super friendly and no one is out to "get you". I've been going here for 11 years and I've never had a complaint.

They were able to answer my questions, and didn't pressure me to fix what was wrong. I knew I needed new tires, the prices were very reasonable. They gave me appropriate time frames on other areas that need to be worked on. Definitely going back!

This place and these people are amazing! I have been a loyal customer since 2005, taken several cars there and referred many friends. I have never had a negative experience. Scott has always been honest with me about maintenance that needed to be done immediately or things that could wait to be worked into the budget. They run their business with honesty and integrity that lacks in many of their competitors. Their new location is absolutely beautiful. The customer waiting area is somewhere you can actually sit and enjoy spending time and having a cup of coffee. They are a jewel in the Safety Harbor and even Tampa Bay business community.
