Ordered part on 2/15 and was told it would be in the following Thursday and I would be contacted when it arrived. No call so I called the following Saturday to ask if it arrived. I was told that they do not have a record of the Transaction. Despite having the receipt with part number, transaction number, in reference number, they were unable to locate the order. I was told it must come into the store to show them the receipt. They simply were unable to help me over the phone. End result, they had to re-order the part because they don’t know what happened even though I had a valid receipt and my credit card was charged, now I need to wait another week and a half - very disappointed. I get mistakes happen but the attitude and unwillingness to resolve over the phone was unacceptable. Manager actually said “fine don’t come back!” when I said this is awful customer service. Not sure the owner would appreciate the manager’s attitude. The story continues…. Showed up to pick them up and they said they would not put them in for me. They clearly indicated that they would pop them in for me when ordering. But seems they no longer value me as a customer.

They're always very nice and helpful but I feel today Aiden went above and beyond. As far as I'm concerned this location is where I'll be going from now on.

UPDATE 1/12/26: I received an almost immediate response from corporate after posting my review. Then today I got a call from Aaron, regional manager who, in a very professional manner addressed my issue/concern and immediately worked to make it right. I appreciate the professionalism, accountability for the unfortunate interactions and effort to recover a relationship with a customer. He restored my confidence with a simple, short telephone conversation. Thank you, Aaron. 1/8/26 - I purchased a headlight which the young man working at the counter graciously agreed to install for me. Unfortunately, shortly thereafter, the headlight stopped working. I YouTube’d, how to remove the bulb myself, and when I did, I found that the bulb had somehow burst into flames and ruined the entire connection to my electrical system. When I returned to the Dunedin location, they refused to provide customer service, no store credit, no refund. Now not only do I need to replace the bulb, but I have to replace the assembly that was melted in the process. Apparently advanced auto parts down the road has a one year warranty for defects in headlight bulbs, but AutoZone does not. A $20 purchase gone wrong just cost them my business for life and has now cost me not only the original bulb but the repairs to make it functional again after the mini-fire it created. Shame on you for not even attempting to recover this.

Had a great experience yesterday. Went in to buy a blinker bulb, but ended up needing a brake light bulb instead. Aiden exchanged the bulbs, then came outside and installed my new bulb. Couldn’t have been more nice and helpful. Thank you for that. I’ll be back!

Went in for a new battery. The customer service was exceptional. As a woman I’ll admit that I don’t like going to these places. They treated me great but that is not what impressed me. An older associate was helping me. A younger associate offered them help to get the battery as it was heavy. They didn’t need it, but the way they treated each other was what you would have seen 20 years ago. They said to me that they take care of each other. The team work that I saw is something that is rare today. Great work employees of Dunedin AutoZone. I will definitely be back. And respect to that young man for showing care about his fellow employees.

Amazing customer service and fast battery installation from the young man who is taller with the dark hair his name was Tugg I believe! He was very nice I came in to see if they would test my battery after I had my neighbor use jumper cables to get my car started, I came down he was very nice testing my battery and showing me it was bad! He got the battery and installed it in a couple of minutes! I was so happy when it started, Then he did run a second test on my battery and everything else I now know the battery and everything else is in good working condition thank you so much for the great service! The entire store was full of knowledgeable people who were all very helpful thank you so much for the great experience!

Professional and courteous staff. Veteran friendly showing genuine appreciation for my service when I asked for the military discount. Karyn was especially great in replacing my battery that was dying and even helped with a bad terminal and alternator diagnostic. This will be my go to parts store!

Pleasant and overall wonderful experience. Professional and courteous young man checked our battery and then installed the new one it for us. We knew we were going to have to buy a new battery but had been shopping around and Autozone beat competitors pricing! I wish I could remember this young man’s name, but he had dark hair and was quite tall. Thank you!

I need to give a HUGE shout out to Natalie! My batteries I purchased from you in 23 needed replacing again... thankfully, they were still under warranty. Natalie checked it all out for me, and while I was there called another store to have it delivered to Dunedin by dinner time. She called me at 6:30 to tell me that the ball was dropped, and the battery wasn't delivered. Such a bummer, but NOT her fault. She was so apologetic, even tho she did everything she could on her end. So today, I went back to get it installed.... and even in pain and a back brace, Natalie greeted me with a big smile and helped me with changing out my battery! She has the BEST attitude! She also shared with me that her own car is broken down, and she takes THREE busses to get to work... now THATS dedication! Give that girl a raise, she deserves it! Such a knowledgeable and friendly hard worker...you're blessed to have her! Thank you, Natalie.

My battery died on me today .I had to get my car jumped .A friend of mine suggested we go to AutoZone she had her battery put in there before. I couldn't be more happy with that recommendation! Kay a true professional helped me pick out a battery for my car, came out and tested old battery, then removed and replaced my new battery for me. He doubled checked to make sure it started up right away! I truly appreciate the fast curious service I was given! Would highly recommend! Thank you to Kay!

Having a day. But I knew what to do. The online app was so convenient. My mom is in rehab for dementia. Car wouldn't go. Jumped it. Tested battery. No bueno. Purchased the battery online, and Karyn, sales associate, was super kind and helped install my new battery. Flawlessly. And that was great respite for me. What a great employee representing that location. Bravo and thank you Karyn. ✌️

Looked at reviews and read about this particular store and service provided by staff. I am new to area and hoped when I went to experience similar service. First day met KAALA greeted me explained headlight issue not illuminating properly went out checked stated appeared loose and aimed improperly offered a small gratuity but refused to accept said against policy I thought that was admirable. Next day decided go back had check engine light asked for manager KARYN specifically because reviews said very knowledgeable pàtient. When I met her I immediately knew this person and store would be where I would do most of my services. Code was converter purchased additive they suggested , they explained when and how to apply , she provided info to upgrade lighting to LED and helped me get a remote and spare key programmed by a trusted source. KARYN being a manager is right person for right job her interaction with customers AND staff could be modeled by all establishments People don't care how much you know, they want to know how much you care. Fortunately KARYN AND HER TEAM DO BOTH!!! PLEASE RECOGNIZE THEM IN SOME SMALL WAY. JOSEPH

We wish we could give this place a 10-star review. Pulled into the parking spots went inside Natalie put a code reader on the car found out exactly what was wrong we bought the exact parts we needed based on her knowledge. She even allowed me to get water for our dog who was very thirsty. K a r y n the store manager came out to make sure that we were okay and offered to allow us to come in the store to cool down. These ladies are professional to a T. Thank you from two satisfied customers

I went to the Patricia Ave store with an overheating problem and the manager came out with me to check out my situation. She immediately knew what to do and got the correct coolant for the Lincoln Navigator and had me on my way within 20 minutes. Thank you for your knowledge and help.

I had to go back a few times because I admittedly had no idea what I was doing. The staff were helpful and fun to talk to. They answered any questions I had and were able to make sure I didn't buy the wrong thing (when I actually asked for help). They explained the return policy when I did get the wrong tool and recommended a tool that worked even better for a better price. You can also bring in used oil and oil filters to be recycled here which is nice. I would recommend going here for auto parts needs especially if you're as inexperienced as I am.

The manager that’s younger that’s works later shifts here was not helpful at all when I told him customer service is the #1 thing you need , he laughed at me . We’ve been doing business at this autozone in Dunedin for over a decade now . You almost lost a customer if it wasn’t for the newly hired Jason P . He was very helpful when he didn’t need to be. He fixed our issues and we left with smiles on our face.

Last week my jeep would not start. I assumed that it was the Florida heat induced shortened battery life at work again. I pulled into another auto store parking lot but then remembered I had bought my last battery at the Dunedin AutoZone so I switched my plan and WOW am I glad I did. Karen waited on me. She quickly informed me that my battery was still under warranty and because of the quality of the battery I purchased she doubted it was the battery. She hooked up machine and quickly told me that my battery was fine. She suggested I get the starter looked at. I later found it the problem and she was spot on. Friendly and knowledgeable employees who you can trust. This AutoZone will be my Go-To from here on out. Thank you Karen!

Yall were great! The store manager was extremely helpful and nice, even when dealing with a rude customer who interrupted my visit. The new associate was very knowledgeable and helpful as well. They were able to help me narrow down what is going on with my vehicle and get me the parts I needed to get the repair done myself. I will definitely be returning to this branch anytime I need any help with my car.

I wanna give a big shout out to Kevin, the store manager. My husband and I got stranded with a dead battery on the way to Honeymoon Island Beach, in swimsuits and everything. We stopped at this particular Advanced Auto to get the battery checked. Turned out it was the alternator, and we were able to work with a mechanic who came into advanced at the same time we did. Kevin hooked us up, and we were able to make it home. Thanks again to him and that mechanic for helping us out, God bless you both.

OK the most helpful and honest staff I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with - I left a brand new cell phone top of the line and had no clue until hours later when I figures out where it was left behind. Aiden was quick to secure the phone and put it in the safe and manager Karyn was careful in releasing it to the proper person upon pick up ....excellent and trustworthy staff .....I normally shop at o reilleys but now this crew has me as a loyal customer...Thanks Aiden you rock
