I have had 2 of my vehicles repaired by Ram. One was an engine replacement and the other was an engine rebuild. I didn't have any issues from either one. This shop does great work at a great price. It really bothers me to see people calling Ram and his family racist. They most definitely are not. It's so easy to pull the race card when things don't go your way, especially when you're the actual problem. Ram is a gentlemen of color, so I don't see how anyone could remotely call him a racist.....and yes I'm black myself. This shop does a good service to the community, there's no where else you can go and get work performed with just a handshake. Some of you may have had issues with their service, but I guarantee you. Part of the problem was you not understanding what you were agreeing to and not the actual work performed. Ram can listen to a car and tell you exactly what is wrong with it and about how long you have until it breaks down. As for me, I will continue to call him and ask for his help. You cannot make everyone happy....

Customers beware this guy puts used parts in and says they’re new the shadiest mechanic in Lake Worth had them put a motor in my car Which was a used motor I knew that, but everything else was supposed to be new he supposedly did my starter radiator and motor mounts upon getting the vehicle back the first day the starter stopped working come to find out they put used parts in my car. They said they did the motor mounts, come in a set of three they did one only the other two were used parts. They said they did the blower motor as well for my AC now it literally works worse than it did before. Make sure you check that. They actually put the parts they said they did in the vehicle because if he thinks you don’t know anything about mechanics, he will definitely try and rip you off Would do not use this guy He is as shady as they come Also, my starter was not put in properly and had to replace it two months after getting the car back everything they said they did except the motor I had to pull out and redo myself customers beware

Very unprofessional. Bad customer service. Don’t let them touch your vehicle. They don’t take accountability when they’ve done something wrong

This place is unprofessional and tried to attack a black man for asking about charges for services that didn’t happen. 0/10 wouldn’t recommend.

Stay away and if you don't, you were warned. It's taken almost a year to "fix" an engine that was under warranty by these conmen. Everytime it was brought in, it came out with more issues. They perform unauthorized work to make up for their incompetence. The son has a huge anger problem and neither he nor his father stand by their work. And dont be surprised if your vehicle comes back with scratches and marked up due to carelessness. Doesnt surprise me that the EPA and police have been here for various reasons. Give your money to hardworking, trustworthy businesses. These people are not worthy of being called mechanics...true mechanics take pride in their work, stand by their product and are honorable. None of which applies to these jokers.

I towed my inoperable Mitsubishi Lancer to Ram's auto in July. Jason diagnosed it as a blown head gasket where the repair cost more than the car was worth. Jason offered to sell me a 1997 Lexus 300h with 80k miles on it for my Mitsubishi and $1500. I agreed with the guarantee that the Lexus would get me through a year of driving from Ft. Lauderdale to Palm Beach 5 days a week and to daycare without any big mechanical issues. In November the Lexus becomes inoperable. Jason attempted to fix it 3 times before asking me for $ for parts. I cant even drive it to the dealership to trade it in. He refused to give me money back. Absolute worst customer service- return calls are nonexistent, always some excuse vs. accepting responsibility, and better to show in person because you'll never reach em by phone. He could care less that I'm stalled on the highway with a 3 year in the backseat... Pay attention to the 1 star reviews. They tell a REAL story of deceit and dishonorable practice. Everything else appears to be either a favor to the shop by a friend or probably paid. How are there either 1 star or 5 star reviews??? Update: I ran a carfax on the Lexus Jason sold me. The odometer had been rolled back from 199k miles. He sold me a car that could have killed me and my son for $ and my old car.

Purchased over 10 Engines from them over the past 16 Years, not one issue. You guys need to know what you're doing, when purchasing a used engine, and during the install break-in process. Do Your research.....

Scam artist!! Somebody referred this person to me. So I decided to give this person a call, I asked this person if he installed engines he said yes he proceeded to ask me if I needed an engine or did I have my own I asked him how much he charge to install he told me 900 for the engine and 400 for labor. So I told him I will give him a call back I decided to look elsewhere for an engine so I finally found the engine I ordered one from engine and transmission 37k miles they told me that it will take 3 weeks for the engine to arrive coming from Wisconsin so I canceled the order so I called the same person and I told him he could go ahead and start working on the engine I asked how many miles he told me 37k I asked him how many days it will take he told me 2 days so I waited no call or nothing I called 3 different times to check up on the car he told me Wednesday that the car will be ready Thursday no call so I waited until Friday I called him he told me that he was 30 minutes away from work when he got there he will check the status for me he never called me back so my husband called to check up on the car. The person told my husband that the car will be ready the same time which was at 150 the same time for Saturday nobody called me. So I went there and I see my car on the side ready for pickup when I asked why nobody called me I'm guessing this someone's likes we spoke with somebody yesterday and we told the person that the car would be ready at the same time we were talking I told him you could have still called so I went home to get the money (1,300) when it came time to pay he pulled out the piece of paper and the paper said 1, 773. I asked them I told him when I called he told me that the engine was 900 and the labor was 400 he had the nerve to look at me and my face and said he never said that, he also said he never said that and he said oh we don't charge that for labor especially for not that car so when I call you on the phone and ask you that 3times you never said anything different. He was so quick to ask me if I had a credit card.I paid him the amount he originally told me. Asked when when I will bring the rest. When I went to check out the car the engine he gave me had 110299 miles, way more than I had on mines, 10823. I believe he tried scam me because I was a female.

Such a terrible shop, they dont even deserve a star. Brought him a subaru with a blown up engine, told us it would be done in 4 days, took him more than a month to even look at it. Then continued to blow up the new motor by putting the cam shafts in backwards when they are clearly marked. He would never call to update us on the car if they had a problem. My fiance had to take apart the engine, put the pieces back together, ect because they are too lazy to do so. They lie about when the car will be done multiple times. We have been there and the police have had to show up and more than one occasion because they threaten their customers. And once we agreed on a payment after spending nearly 2,000 else where to buy a new motor and get everything (that the owner broke) fixed, he took his word back and charged us over double what the original agreement was. They do not care about customers vehicles, they sit all over them, use them as trash cans, it is absolutely disgusting. He gave our car back with a ton of new dents and scratches, and with a broken clutch (we brought the car to him in perfect condition). The owner believes that women need to be kept on leashes and degrades them constantly. He also threatened to burn our car to the ground if we didnt pay him in full that second. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

This shop ruined my car. Gave me a bad engine, allegedly swapped it with another engine, gave me a Honda Odyssey engine for my Accord (which isn't the worst thing to happen but seriously? At least be upfront.), used a heater hose to replace my power steering return hose, put the wrong power steering fluid and ruined my rack and pinion, forcing me to go back there to fix it, made me drive off with the transmission messed up and having to drive around with the car lunging forward, they never gave me back my wheel lock, ALL THIS when all I did was try to figure out why my car was overheating. The radiator blew. They claimed it was the head gasket (without even testing it) and I might as well swap the engine because it would cost the same. That was the beginning of the end for my car. 2 engine swaps and my car still has overheating problems and now I can't drive it because the engine gave up. Nearly $2K in the hole and NOTHING got solved. I cannot recommend this place. I am terrified at the thought of going back there.

Ram said he was installing a low mileage JDM engine, turned out to be a crappy New Zealand produced engine. took it back 3 times for oil leak, he finally put the oil pan on correctly. after that took it back because it burns thru 1qt of oil every 400 miles and developed a low end knock. He does not want to honor warranty and wants to tear down the engine and charge me to rebuild it but will not give me a price to do so. I would not recommend this shop to my worst enemy! Information Regarding Engine# F22B3 Hi *** You may well receive two replies to you enquiry. I hope mine is the more informative. I cannot help you with technical enquiries but my long service with Honda sees me as the unofficial historian of the company I feel your engine was assembled in New Zealand in the days of CKD (Completely Knocked Down) "Local Car Assembly". In the early 1990's, Honda New Zealand tried to get access to the then highly protected Australian Market by increasing the "Local" content of the cars we produced. Our cars where about 39 percent local content through labour, tyres, glass, seats, upholstery, seat belts and other components. We calculated that by building engines this would increase local content to 50 percent and that the Australian Authorities would accept them as New Zealand Imports under the terms of CER (Closer Economic relations with Australia). Unfortunately the Australians where able to circumvent our actions by insisting that the Radiators be Australian made. There was no suitable Australian made Radiator available and cost of setting up tooling to produce a Unique Honda Radiator was prohibitive. We feel they knew that. However, Engine Assembly continued at our Nelson Assembly Plant until its closure in 1996. There are no technical differences to the engine other than it being assembled in New Zealand and I believe utilising locally produced gaskets. Early engines suffered problems with oil leaks from the sump due to incorrect translation and interpretation of the Japanese Build Manual but this was rectified and cars in owners hands were modified during normal service checks
