Needed some aluminum bar that was a very specific size. Called up and got Heidi, she went above and beyond to source the material that I needed at a very competitive price and all of this was done with a smile! 😊

Heidi was incredibly rude, wouldn’t let me get a word out, and had zero patience for me not being familiar with a product I was calling and trying to get more information on, as she is supposed to be there to assist in those instances. I would not recommend working with Heidi specifically. But otherwise the company has been good with solid material. Just needs help with who they let assist customers. Super unpleasant experience.
I went to get some supplies for my job after traveling 1 hour I had to wait another hour until they open nobody to take and then a very mean lady gave a nasty attitude about they closing time .
How can you run a business if you always close they need to update their policies close at 11 am open back at 1pm while everyone else is doing business customer can't not wait all day.. they will find another supplier for they needs .
Surplus Steel is always great. Esther has the best customer service there. She knows how to help. They have always what I need. A little pricy but they have it. Ask for Esther when you go.

Great place to purchase steel very knowledgeable and helpful staff. They carry a large variety of top grade steel and aluminum products. Plus all of the ornamental products they have in stock in the showroom.

As a novice consumer, I was directed to this company by Vickers Metal Shop when I inquired about covering a 3x4 foot hole in my yard when my sprinkler plumbing needed repair. Heidi and Alex in the sales showroom were patient and kind with me as I did not know what I needed. The warehouse crew were just as nice and helpful making sure that I got exactly what was needed to solve the problem and helped load a 1/4 inch thick 4x4 foot steel plate into my vehicle. I didn't have a good experience with them, I have a small business, every penny counts, if you are going to do business with them, make sure you are very clear about things and put everything into writing. I'm sure everyone's experience might be different, for me, I won't go into that place again, I rather buy things online, my peace of mind it's more important than people testing my patience.
