Employee there cussed me and my wife like we were dogs we left came back the next day giving them the benefit of doubt he was just having a bad day and he was in the office this time very rudely tossed my id into the slot then the money definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone and will never do business here again
Updates review I had a issue with an employee here and the owner reached out to me with an apology for the way the employee acted.

No complaints, really. Price was a little low, but I get that fluctuates and is market / demand dependent. Process was easy once someone acknowledged me being there lol.
The scale are way off how I know is because I was there on Wednesday when I left My weight was 7340. I went to trademark metals in Tampa and when I weighed out, I weighed 6900 pounds same truck same trailer nothing difference. And that is not the only time that has happened To me, I went there a couple other times with my Jeep liberty and my weight was different coming out three times So yes, their scales are not certified
Great recycling facility, run professionally, very honest and safe. Not the typical scrap yard you're used to dealing with. Jeff is a solid guy. I highly recommend using them for all recycling needs.
Wouldn't pay me for an air conditioning unit I bring in the got ruined in the flood told me I had to have an HVAC license and have a receipt but but didn't tell me that until after I unloaded it scammers
Hauled a mixed load of aluminum and stainless steel to this place we agreed to weigh out the aluminum first . Was directed where to unload the aluminum one of the employees came and started throwing heavy pieces of stainless off of our trailer ! When we confronted them about that we received nasty attitudes was cussed at and kicked out of the property because they were stealing from us !!! I would never trust this place all the employees are rude and very shady !!
Guys are pretty cool. It's a scrap yard get rid of your metal for cash. No real problems no flats coming in and out. Took some lighting and fence over the years, it works, will use again. A little different than yards up north but again no problems. thanks guys.
I always like to do buisness with the family owned businesses. Best metals Recycljng is awesome because they have a crew that keeps the line moving and most of the time, there is no wait. It's in and out. Besides all that, it's fun going there lol if I could work there full time I would. It's kinda like busch gardens really..... I think it should be against the law to go anywhere else. They've also been known to give jobs to folks that are struggling in our community. I hope they grow as a company because it will open up more jobs in the palmetto area.

BMR is where I always take my trash load, and recycle my metal for good reason. It’s mostly an in and out experience and the workers do a real diligent clean up job. And as far as the price paid for the metal, it’s unmatched in the area. Customer service is really good too, shoutout to Lea behind the counter for making my metal runs a pleasant experience.
This was incredibly easy and not stressful at all. Sometimes scrapyards can be a bit hectic and staff can be rude at times. Not here, Tony was very pleasant to work with and I was in and out of there in no time.
Best of all, they are 5 minutes down the road from Detwilers so I can go pick up groceries once I have cashed out.
I almost don't want to attract attention to them , So that it can be like my country club of scrap metal but I can't lie, they have a great staff and honest prices . I can't hate on em
I was looking for a place to drop off an old lawnmower without having to pay to dispose of it. This place fit the bill. Even though they were willing to pay me for what I brought in, I figured it wouldn't be much and drove off after I unloaded. If you're looking to get rid of a larger item that other places would charge to take, this place is might work for you. 😀
They are the most nasty's Place I've ever been And I'm not talking about the yard I'm talking about the incompetence of the employees they have no Idea what they're doing and should not be open
Poor customer service!! Customers are required to "ask first" when they want to purchase. Beau seems to be in charge, and the guy to ask. I've yet to find an item that Beau hasn't either intentionally crushed immediately following my inquiry, or set aside for himself!! Best Metal, if you don't want to sell to the public, stop selling to the public. Worst experience EVER!!
Everytime I ask to buy an item from them Bow tells me to go ask upfront and crushes it just to be a jerk...Has happened to many of my friends there also... Horrible customer service..
3 stars because the women in the front were kind. Gave clear instructions for my first visit. Can’t say the same for an employee who was very animated yelling over heavy machinery telling me to move out of a trucks way in an aggressive manor. Funny how his demeanor and tone changed when I got in his face telling him to repeat himself. I dunno if the pricing was fair but something is better than nothing.
