Went on their website to verify their hours of operation and - most importantly - that they had the part I needed in stock. Drove all the way up from Sarasota, only to find their doors locked. Called the number and they answered. “Hi, I’m at the front door.” They asked me if I was there to sell them a car. I told them I just needed to buy a part. “We’re not open for parts anymore.”
Uh - okay, cool. Isn’t the name of your business PULL N GO? Isn’t that, like, the primary function of your business? Maybe you should update your website to say something about that before people waste their time coming out to your place to try ‘n *give you money*.
Website showed three models in stock that I could get parts from. Counter person took my admission fee and directed me to the far back right of lot . Could not find one model and returned to counter. Second counter person directed me to far back left of lot. Could not find one model and returned to counter. No answer from anyone why? Waste of time walking in mud.
You better make damn sure the part is right cause they won't return or wanna give a credit like it's a place ppl frequent all the time. Even with 90 day Warranty they still don't return it so of the part goes bad an they can't replace it they give you a store credit
Just went in today to get a steering box, radio, and a wrangler grill. Their price list on the website claims that my total would’ve been around $100. Before the chick behind the counter saw the gear box, she said my total for the other 2 items was $175. I asked why, and she said that the old grilles cost more, yet no where on the website was that stated. So I put the grille off to the side, and somehow my total for the radio and steering box was $80, when the price list says it should be no more than $40 before tax. I was in a hurry for personal reasons, so I paid and left without a question. After looking at my receipt, she made a fake price for the gear box that was double what it should’ve been. And the radio cost $10 more than it should have. I should of just went to LKQ if I knew I was gonna be taxed like that, at least their yard is clean and maintained.
2$ environmental fee is mandated by the federal government(as well forppl who steal stuff) great prices bilingual staff. Most often parts are under 20$ apiece which is easily attainable.engine and trans prices are comparable to other pick a part locations 1/2 price of ebay(prolly due to shipping) whoever complains about this place is a brokeboi who obviously has never went to a parts store where they gotta pay FULL price.
I completed a transaction with Pull N Go and later encountered a series of unfortunate events. The Manager, Kristen and Owner, John acted swiftly and with integrity to resolve the issues at hand and restore my peace of mind.
Do Not Go Here!! They rip you off. They have the prices displayed at the registers but charge you double at the register and charge you a $2 environmental fee with every purchase. The prices display at the register, they say "are old" but still they leave the old pricing sheet displayed at the register. And the web site pricing is wrong too. Your better off going next door to Pick Your Part/LKQ. They actually display the correct parts.
The best prices in the state, and they don't gouge you for every nut and bolt. Yard is clean and pretty much debris free. Staff is extremely helpful and customer friendly.
Never been to a junkyard before and generally just order my parts from Amazon but I needed a drivers side window and quick. Came here at the recommendation of a friend to find a part for the repair. Didn't find the part I mainly needed but I did find a mirror which was a side priority.
While I was walking in noticed some "prices" on the ticket they gave me which I later found out aren't even prices at all. Wow how absurdly confusing!
I went on their website to compare the "prices" I was seeing and as a result, I missed some big sign as I walked in that instructs people to go to a different part of the building for purchase.
Because I went to the wrong side (because of their confusing tickets), they said it was double for the mirror! $57!!! Wow!
No thanks! After that kind of treatment, I wouldn't pay half of $28.50 either! First and last time I'm ever going to a junkyard! They can go extinct if this is how they treat customers! I'll just stick to what I know - ordering my parts online!
I could get that mirror BRAND NEW on Amazon for $38! And in the correct color! It's almost like these people didn't want money. Why would you turn a sale down for such an absurd reason? Why rely on just a sign? Why treat potentially new customers in such a manner? So many questions, so few answers that make rational sense.
Also, their selection was very underwhelming. I expected a junkyard to be much bigger than this.
Overall, the experience was so horrible I found it strangely amusing.
TL;DR: Pricing here for used parts is similar to pricing for brand new aftermarket items that can be found online. These junkyards are going to go out of business if they keep treating their customers this way. Maybe try fixing your confusing tickets? You could have used any other symbol but (inexplicably) chose to use a $ for a code. Poor management and implementation imo. I don't see these places surviving much longer and eventually will go the way of the libraries and dinosaurs - obsolete and extinct.
Terrible experience, There is no such thing as a refund only store credit which you must use or lose. Absolutely crazy, What a scam to keep your money and make sure they win all the way around! Definitely not happy.
One star is pushing it. do not go here. They charge you just to go look. The attitudes of the employees were ridiculous and if you park in the wrong spot they act like your car is gonna be towed and give you attitude. Do not recommend.
I unfortunately had to take my van to the junkyard... It had a head that was cracking... But was a great van overall. Carrie at pull n go was so sweet and kind... It was really nice as a woman, to deal with another woman. In car situations women are often taken advantage of... And I got excellent service all the way around... I will recommend all my friends check Pull N Go for all their car part needs...
i do not recommend shopping here if you want your money back! you will not get your money back only stupid store credit. i learned this from a friend if i could give 0 stars i would, just shop at LKQ, A & A AUTO or Gleicks auto you get your money back and better parts and better warranty AGAIN DO NOT SHOP HERE
I bought a 5.3 Vortech motor from these people. The engine ended up not being a good engine but that is the chance that you take buying used parts especially at a deeply discounted price. When I called there I spoke with Jose great man and a man of his word. He found me another engine and even ended up pulling it for me even though I did not expect him to pull it. I also wanted to add that this man Jose walked out in the yard with me to help me find an engine that he was comfortable with. If it was the place next-door to him they would just say well that’s the way it is. That’s why I will drive the extra mile to go to Pull And Go auto parts to get my auto parts needs to fulfilled.
This is the nicest junkyard I've ever been in. Isles were clear, cars were by manufacturer, most vehicles were on sitting old rims to give access under the vehicle and pricing was on target. Recommended for any car enthusiast.
Good selection of domestic "USA"vehicles. Not many European models. If you are looking for SUV or pickup or jeep parts you are probably in the right spot. Older Toyota is also well represented. Walked the whole yard just for curiosity.
This place is AWESOME. Don’t listen to people rating it badly for their own agenda. I just toured every yard in FL and found what I needed here.
Place is neat as a pin, great motivational music while your wrenching. On my last visit the owner followed me to my car in the rain to ensure I was pleased with my visit there. Keep doing what you all do at Pull n Go!! :)))
It's terrible the way the customer is treated and the online inventory hardly ever right. Guess I'm gonna become loyal to the big corporation auto salvage yards. I miss Royal Auto Salvage. Might not have been a pull your own style but they would help you locate the part even if they didn't have it. These newer folks will either fake you into the entry fee or send you packing. Either way rude as hell and not taking care of their clientele. I even emailed them twice and have gotten no response. 0 stars!!!
Very first visit my husband and I went to purchase a car and it went very well. Very happy with the service. Ask for Teresa she was polite, friendly, and understanding. Her customer service is five stars.
Id give it a 0 stars if i could. Horrible. Never do business. Overpriced. I couldve bought the same coil pack part online for the same price but i already pulled it just wanted to get it installed. The part was defective and i was in the store 5 minutes prior pulling it. They wont give a refund and only give store credit.
Their pick n pull inventory has always been outdated and junk to say the least
Do yourself a favor and go to lkq next door. They give full cash refunds if parts are defective or wrong.
Not only would they not refund me but i somehow lost my receipt between buying the part and installing it in my car in the parking lot (of corse thats my fault) however i went back in and they would not even give me the store credit. How can you not look up a transaction that happened 10 minutes prior?? Horrible customer service. Save your money. Shop at lkq.
I looked at their online inventory to see if they had the car I was looking for. It said they had 1. So I drove 35 minutes to go look at it. I get there and ask them to confirm they do have it. They look it up and confirm. I pay and ask them where it's at and they tell me it's in the foreign section. No row or spot number. Apparently that's too much work for them so I waste 30 minutes checking every row and car in the foreign section until I confirm they DON'T have it. What a waste of time. I go back in and let them know and they just say 'ok' as if it's a normal occurrence for their inventory to be wrong. They didn't offer a refund.
I called them on 3 different occasions asking if they had a certain part. They said I had to come look for myself. I went there and told them what I was looking for. They then wanted to charge me a fee to go in and look.
They were only off by 10 years in the model year car I needed a part from.
How hard is it to track what cars you have.
if you are in need of a part. And you want to pull it yourself. Then Do Not Go to the LQK in bradenton. Why Because the Staff at Pull N Go Self Service is Top Notch. They greet you with a smile. They are very Helpful and their Prices can't be beat... My overall experience made just want to pay two bucks just to be around their staff. And be treated like a customer. They make you feel right at home. I visited them at 6:05pm one day and the Yard attendant didn't give me that We're Closed look. Instead he came to the door opened it and Said Welcome to Pull N Go! I said I know your closed but I have some questions. And for the next 15 minutes he gave me a complete run down of the yard he then went back inside grabbed me a price list and said if I needed any assistance to come see him personally. So I went back the next day pulled my part. I was greeted with a smile when I walked in and when I got to the counter to pay the Cashier said how are you doing today. I said great. Then she said Well did you find everything you Needed. I said yes. and then as she cashed me out she invited me back to shop again. I wasn't asked to empty my Pockets and have the gate locked in my Face like the Place Next door LKQ..... I was treated with RESPECT and Top Notch Service throughout my entire experience, I am going back this weekend to pull another part even if I don't need it!!! They treat you like a customer like ur shopping in Publix....You have to give them a try....Trust me from the moment you walk in You will see that they provide Top Notch Service and I am happy to pull my parts their.....Dj Jay Tee
Best new junkyard in town open 7 days a week in the staff came and help me load my stuff on my truck. Prices are better than cophers you know the one I mean. Bought a whole rear axle breaks everything for a full size truck hundred fifty bucks out the door.
It was pouring rain and I found an umbrella in the glove box the truck as working on they get any better than that
I'm a automotive wholesale dealer.out of the whole West side of Florida this by far the worst yard I've been to......they don't have a inventory of vehicles???? Just pay us are 2 dollars and go look for yourself is what I was told at the counter..I understand that they can't have a inventory of parts---, But no inventory of vehicles [WTF]....THE STAFF ARE RUDE AND ARROGANT, AND DISRESPECTFUL.they said they didn't have enough employees to do inventory....that because they were all outside smoking cigarettes and blunts.....no kidding I walked up to the doors and 5 employees outside puffing away.keep in mind that they were not at lunch at 9:45 AM,when I walked thru the doors 2 employees followed me in.a stuck up attitude lady kept saying we're a family owned business, and she never heard of any pick n pull yards having a inventory of vehicles, once again VEHICLES!!! I guess smoking is more important than knowledge of the business they're in......
Great selection, looks like they have all the parts needed to fix my wife's Durango. Friendly staff. They have a full price list, and even let me go with an emblem, that I was prepared to pay 2$ for. If you are familiar with any u-pull yards, this place is far better organized, with big clear signs for the make, and well taken care of. My number one go to for a u-pull yard.
