The scales do not coincide and today they stole us but as I am braver I threw all the metal there and I did not charge anything and I left, put the money somewhere where you do not hear from the sun.
Our aluminum cans weighted. 51 lbs in total... Yet, they only gave us 35 lbs of $17. This place is a complete rip off, will not recommend nor go to scrap king ever again.
Be careful coming here with your Non-Ferris metal. They will try to buy exclusion aluminum as sheet aluminum. They will also try to buy bare-bright as number one copper they’re very sneaky people there especially Roger. You gotta be careful with him. Also it’s a 50/50 chance if you will get a nail in a tire. Go ANYWHERE but here if you value your time and money. 0/5 stars if i could.
They are a rip off. I didn't have a truck and they was the only ones that would bring me a bin so I could fill it and come pick it up when come time to pay they said they didn't separate the metal. It was only .08 cent a pound I had alor of aluminum that would of paid me more also they complained about me not being able to fill it all the way. They dropped off another container this time when picking it up they said I owed them 150$ for dropping it off and picking it up fee they always told me there was no fee so they were trying steal my money. Why steal money from people that's just trying to survive. Yall should be ashamed being a business that takes from people that don't have much
Only good when you need cash and others are closed early on weekends. They pay the lowest in Tampa. And let them see one singl screw in a 300lb cast aluminum run and they will pay you for iorny aluminum. And won’t let you take the screw off either. Lol
Bunch of thieves, usually when I go they pay the right price but while I was at work I sent my wife and they paid her chump change. Had 60lbs of #2 and 18lbs of clean copper and this bozos paid her 65 Dollars

I was just behind the driver of one of their trucks in Tampa and their driver threw out his empty takeout container and 2 empty plastic water bottles onto the road. 0 stars for a company who does not train their workers on something so simple and common sense.
They need to be consistent with how they grade copper brand new propress copper fittings they trying to pay it as dirty copper vs clean. And pay attention to your tickets just saw the last few times I came they robbed me a graded new copper as #2. Take your business elsewhere. Beware.
STAY AWAY!!!! This place is a scam. If you find yourself waiting in the line at the other known scrap yard, wait it out. There is a reason there is a line over there and this place is empty. Do not make the same mistake I did. I weigh out aluminum daily for business. Cheated me out of over $100 dollars. Horrible company.
I would never go to just rub you are never getting in my life when I got down there they said they couldn't take it after they told me they could because you don't have a car and that's not right this place don't even deserve one star
They ripped me off. I went there with a few hundred of pounds of clean aluminum,hundreds of pounds of stainless steel, copper, and a couple hundred of dirty metal and drove off with only $171.00. They were nice though as they were thinking how they were going to spend my money

They claim they pay top dollar for everything they paid $0.30 a pound for aluminum cans a place right down the road pays $0.38 a pound for cans. I took 130 lb. To scrap king and received $39 now how is that top dollar they do nothing but lie on everything the receipt don't even show you how much you get for a pound
I won’t go there again. I had a load of extruded aluminum and aluminum duct which is clean aluminum. They totally ripped me off on the duct. Basically the same as aluminum cans minus all the color, just bare aluminum. Worst place ever for taking in your metal products. Beware of going here.
We drove all the way up from Sarasota today, Sunday. We are so thankful this scrapyard was open today; and my husband and I were both impressed with the level of customer service the men and woman at Scrap King provided us. Everyone was kind, informative, helpful, and patient. Way better than any metal recycler we have been too, and we have been to many, in different counties. They have very competitive prices, and they are open 7 days a week. We will definitely be back to scrap King. Thank you very much. Keep up the good work guys and girls of Scrap King
