My experience went well. Tim was a nice gentleman along with the guys who checked in my aluminum cans. Everyone very friendly and very helpful. They treated me with respect and were very helpful for a first timer. Explained what the business would and would not take. How I could be well prepared each time. It was great to learn these things. I was there during lunch and since it was slower I believe it allowed them more time to be able to explain these things to me. I certainly appreciated it. The woman in the office was pleasant and patient with me during the payment process which was super easy. They do round up or down on the dollar so don’t be surprised. Personally it’s not a big deal and I’m happy to get money for what I would have simply thrown away before. I’ll definitely be back.
I wouldn't even put a star but its the only way I could post . I absolutely absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCRAP YARD~! The employees are rude and unorganized we waited for 45 minutes to unload then we were not in the right spot after one of drivers told us where to back in, getting yelled at by another employee who makes us stop and wait for the yard to be pushed. Well another 45 minutes of my busy day wasted. Anyways moral to this one is DO NOT EVER EVER GO HERE.
I arrived at 3:52 and the guy was walking up to the gate,still open. and wouldn't process my metel....they close at 4:00,sooo you'll just pass up on potential 100s of dollars because yall are lazy and don't wanna take a couple vehicles. I wonder if the owner has that "whatever" outlook. you could have covered your days wages in 8 minutes of bussiness. I guess you don't care if you just took someone's mealticket for the night.
