Went to this store today and found a few good things among some also overpriced things. I managed to find a cute vintage Stein that had a sticker on it for $1. When I got to the register, the lady looked at the sticker and proceeded to tell me that she knew it had a different sticker on it for a higher price, and that sometimes people "switch the stickers", all of which felt very accusatory, especially given that I had picked it up with the sticker already on the bottom of it, and I dont understand why someone would switch a sticker then put it back on the shelf. She then refused to honor the price on the sticker and looked the item up on ebay on her phone, telling me that she saw them priced for $15-$30 on ebay and offered to sell it to me for $15. I declined, because that's crazy, especially given that these are donated items. Also, when I got home I looked the item up myself and found it for $4 on Etsy. These people shouldn't put stickers on the items if they don't have any intentions of honoring them. I'm honestly not sure how they sell anything to anyone with their employees acting this way.

Not that much furniture and as others have mentioned, the prices are HIGH for secondhand items. $40 for a rice cooker of some kind, really? Someone’s greedy here.

It confuses me that an organization tries to shake down the community with their exerbuant prices for donated items. Amazing!

I’m a big fan of Habitat for Humanity - volunteer cashier for 3 years at Restore in Ohio, served on the board as a Treasurer, helped on builds and donated many nice items thru the years. I moved to Homosassa recently and popped into this ReStore to take a look around. I was stunned by the HIGH prices across the board! Honestly, I don’t know how they’ve managed to stay open… who buys a used refrigerator for $1500? A pastel, old, leather sofa (looked like 1980s) for $400? I want ReStore to be successful; it’s for a great cause… but, it should be more affordable. I saw 3 beautiful wood and leather barstools - $500 EACH! Only someone with financial substance could afford $1500 for 3 barstools! That bothers me in principal… ReStore should serve its community, especially the non-wealthy…those who can’t afford to drop $1500 for 3 barstools! If you wonder why your turnover is slow… your prices are grossly high. Not a fan of this ReStore!

Asked for pricing to make sure that the tag was correct. And they called the manager over to check the pricing. He then looked on eBay then doubled the price. They forget that they are a THRIFT store And not a pawn shop. The Lack of self-awareness, and the blatant greed is appalling. Do not go here.

Totally overpriced $50 basic men’s suits Same suit sale on eBay for $25-$30 hunting boots $70 is crazy. Definitely Don’t act like a nonprofit

They are extremely pricey drive 1-miles to the key training thrift and you will have better luck

We donated an almost brand new luxury brand futon with frame. Pick up was easy and the people were very nice and helpful. However we were at the landfill a couple of days later continuing our reno and saw our donations in the landfill. Do not assume your donations are going to somewhere in need if you send them here. Absolutely disappointing and disgusting. We wish someone at literally any point had told us that our futon would not be kept, and we would have put it on marketplace for free.

It’s super clean and organized however the prices are down right wild. Way too high. It’s second hand items they were given for FREE! Yet they are charging brand new prices. Shame.

I have donated brand new and slightly used items to this location manytimes. I no longer will be donating to them. Habitat stores are like Goodwill stores. They make tons of money off donations. The prices they charge are ridiculous. IMO they are not what was intended...by helping those that need in our communities. I also agree that the staff members can be "barky".

Just wanna give a shout out to Ray and Taylor for helping me out today!! Both helped me find a homeless guy some clothes and shoes and worked with me on the price!!! Being a good human being isn’t hard!! Doing these simple acts of kindness are free. Thank you gentlemen!! U have no idea how much this meant to me and CJ … thank u from the bottom of my heart ❤️

This location has wonderful items, pretty organized however the prices are really UNBELIEVABLE, absolutely overpriced! Clothing was laughable. Used , low end sneakers $25. I've been in here maybe 4 times, but this was the last visit. On top of their terrible prices, the staff also has terrible attitudes, not friendly or personable. It's really a shame that places like these, geared toward helping the less fortunate really mark up prices like this.

My impression of the Habitat Restore is it's focus is furniture and overpriced glassware. They used to be the go to store for appliances and reasonably priced items and did not charge delivery fees. It's a disappointment to find out their inventory is limited to quick sales and is too pricey. It used to be a fun place to search for treasures and know you could afford them.

I shop all the local Habitat stores and this is the most expensive, I purchased a picture at the Ocala Habitat for $6 and they had the same picture for $50 at the Inverness location, that’s a huge price difference. Staff are very nice and they have a lovely store full of good stuff but way overpriced for a thrift store.

this facility is hard to get into if you’re traveling east. Also it depends on who’s taking donations but occasionally people are either undertrained or don’t understand the receipt process. Sometimes it’s difficult to get a receipt. Other than that they have really cool stuff and we’ve purchased several things over the years.

This is the largest Habitat store I have seen. Tons of furniture. Some appliances. Tile flooring and more.

Be sure the items you wish to donate are in PRISTINE condition, or Restore will refuse to take them. You are better served to sell your things on Facebook Marketplace. I had a brand new, still in the plastic roll of carpeting, probably 900 sq ft or so that I wanted to donate. The top of the plastic wrapping had torn in a couple places and there was a little puffy dirt which I brushed off with my hand. It was not stained. The delivery drivers refused to take it. Lesson learned, time wasted. Just FYI.

Seems like there would be more profit if pricing was a little more reasonable. These items cost nothing. Why out price your sales? Just a shame is all… I want to donate but I feel like I’m supporting something shady with these unbalanced prices.

I loved this store and the store manager was extremely kind and personable. I’ve only been here once and bought two very reasonably priced furniture items. I will frequent this store from now on!

I love this store. Employees and manager are super friendly. My only complaint is that the furniture prices are so high! It seems I'd be better off spending a few more bucks and buy new.

Very nice store employees are very nice and helpful and friendly. I used to love the store and still kind of do but their prices on some items are too high. I know it's for a good cause but I can't afford it.

If you come to the store to look for any specific item, you will be greeted by, the kindest people with, hospitality and, full attention to the needs of your visit. You will never walk out of these stores with anything less than, a new friendship. The staff is awesome. You are always greeted with a warm welcome and, if you go there enough, you become part of an amazing family. I am very happy and, proud to be part of the habitat family and, a partner family of, Habitat for Humanity of, Citrus Co., Fl. What an amazing blessing. God bless you all and, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

This is a nice clean air conditioned showroom with good used merchandise. All sales benefit the Habitat for Humanity. They usually have really nice furniture at bargain prices. The sales staff is always helpful and friendly.

It's a huge building with a lot of different things to choose from, and there are good deals to be found. Like several other reviewers, however, I feel most of their inventory is largely overpriced. They do not sell clothing, but the Key Training Center thrift store is a only short distance away. On the plus side, they have major appliances, electronics, books, toys, furniture, hardware, home improvement, housewares, jewelry, and other miscellaneous to choose from. Despite the minor complaints I listed above, I don't believe I've ever walked away empty handed. It's definitely worth exploring.

I have been a customer at this store several times and absolutely feel it has great prices on their items. They had two beautiful 1000$+ Mattress sets for less than half the price you would pay in a store, I would encourage anyone who hasn't went to look around at the new location do so .

Lots of stuff...Sorry, but most stuff is quite a bit over priced. You can buy brand new cheaper. I don't even know if they realize this fact. Furniture I have bought seems good deals & in good shape. The staff is Wayyyy beyond helpful & friendly. 😉
