Had this place put in an Intoxalock device and they completely hacked my husbands car, they did the wiring all wrong then tried to blame my husband and say he did it which he did not we ended up taking it to a diff place and they didn't even want to touch it because they didn't want to be reliable for someone else's mistake, long story short we ended up taking it to high class remote starters in Willimatic and thank god for them they fixed CDLS hack job and even they said there is no way that my husband could of done that to his own car, there were wires everywhere going every which way. But thank god for that High class I recommend anyone wants to get the Intoxoloxk device just spend the extra couple dollars and get it done right.

Good staff, clean waiting area. Wait time for inspection was very good. Recommend.

My family and I called yesterday. Our brother, who was life flighted, was in a severe accident, totaling his vehicle… cannot speak or move well due to the extent of his injuries. We called to ask what requirements are needed to get the vehicle out of the lot… the secretary was extremely snappy and rude, just because we aren’t the registered owner.. He can’t call, he fighting for his life… we called the police to take care of this matter because we don’t deserve to be spoken to rudely when alls we wanted to was help our brother who is fighting for his life. I asked for her name twice and she hung up on me. They can now have the bill that comes with the vehicle.

Good place to get emissions done quick. Haven’t had any work done here though

I've delivered food here many times. I also bring both of my cars for state smog inspection and they are quick. Usually I change the oil on both of my cars but with the weather being a scorcher at 90F I just had CDLS change it for me. I'll be back soon for an oil change on my other car. Although they are focused on trucks I'm glad they are able to also help with cars.

My car was towed here after an accident. I called a few days later to check on the car. I was told my car was picked up by someone with a credit card and towed away. I called my insurance company and they had no record of this event. I had to make a POLICE REPORT for theft. Just to find out that the car was sitting in this lot the whole time (6 days). I didn’t even receive a phone call from CDLS to let me know that my car was actually in the lot. I’m thinking my car is stolen. The police officer was kind enough to inform me of the location of my car. But hey the company couldn’t inform me because he thought “he didn’t need to”. I got so much attitude over this whole situation from the staff just for them to not even check the property to ensure if my car was gone or not. They told my insurance company that he wouldn’t look up the camera footage unless he was being compensated. How embarrassing for him to find out the car is on his property this whole time. NEVER USE THIS SERVICE!!!! This is a shady way of doing business.

The team at CDLS were angels; we were passing through a couple days before the 4th of July weekend, on our way to NH, and our alternator failed (2011 Honda Odyssey). Jenn, John & Lemmie (and the other folks at the shop) did a great job; from the tow (Lemmie) to the service ticket (Jenn and John); they all got it done super quick, very efficiently, and at a fair price. We are grateful to them for getting us (and our dog) back on the road. Best wishes to all of them!!!

I’m going to give this a 2 only because the two out of 4 people I talked to actually gave me useful information and did there job, however I called about a a emission test asking everything I needed to have to get the test done since I was coming from work and only had a few minutes to spare and would get there at the last possible moment they could do one . He said your car , keys, and it cost 20$ no where did he say it had to be cash lucky enough I was able to go and get cash . Then my car failed with no codes and I was asking the tech what exactly I could do and if he could give me information on a code. The I assume manager old lady chimes in saying that they can only provide the information for the test and I went to ask a question and she decided to Rudely with an attitude raise her voice at me and begin to tell me the same thing. I then confronted her about raising her voice and giving me an attitude and she denied the entire thing while standing in front of her two employees, just goes to show how she operates her business and treats her customers! The guy behind the counter was great and the tech was great but to raise your voice at a customer is downright unprofessional!

AAA contracted with CDLS Mobile Repair in Danielson, CT when I called for a tow to a repair dealership yesterday. The driver who arrived was kind, smart, empathic and exceptionally patient. I highly recommend CDLS Mobile Repair based on my interaction with the office staff by phone and driver who responded to the call. I learned from AAA Connecticut (who had 100 calls in queue) that for faster service from AAA, I could have called local tow companies and submitted the receipt for reimbursement. After 40 years with AAA, I may do that if I need tow service again. If I'm in Northeastern Connecticut, I'd call CDLS Mobile Repair first. Thank you for helping yesterday!

A great little known place in the Danielson area for emission tests! First come first served so no appointments but they work quickly and politely. In and out in 12 minutes today. Just remember DMV requires all payments are CASH so be sure to have a 20 in your wallet and another if you're past the test date. DMV's policy, not their's.

Thank Scott for your help with my issue this morning the driver you sent to help me out in our situation was a great sight to see and so very helpful. Everything he did for us we are grateful for all of his help and yours for sending me the driver. I will recommend you guys to everyone who needs your types of services. I wish I could remember the driver's name. Please thank him for me once again. Because of him we're up and able to go places again. CDLS Thank You..... If any of you ever in need like we were calling them they're very helpful they went above and beyond to help us. I woke up to a flat shredded tire this morning and a mobile mechanic I use recommended him to me so I called explained my situation and they came to our rescue. If it wasn't for the driver willing to go take my tire to Town Fair Tire Co for a replacement and bring it back out it on for me if be in a bad situation still. Thank you again so very very much.... They are not in the same order but these are before and after.

The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to help me get my car situation sorted out quickly. Scott was especially great to work with.

I hit a deer, and the driver that picked me up was very kind. I appreciated that after such an upsetting accident.

CDLS Mobile Repair responded to my AAA call. The driver was very nice when he arrived. He loaded my vehicle onto the flatbed and strapped it down efficiently.

CDLS went above and beyond to help me get back on the road the same day after my alternator died on my trip from NH to FL! Jen at the front desk was straight forward and gave me some great advice. My Odyssey runs great. Highly recommend! A++

Call center were nice and gave good price. Tow truck driver changed price once he showed up. Swore at my fiance and then drove off before paying the rest. Complete lack of professionalism. Complete jerk and will not be calling again!

I was in a pinch with my van, it needed to be towed from Griswold to Brooklyn. Having cancelled and dropped my AAAr membership last year because they left ne stranded 4 times in one month with no service, freezing and a dead phone by morning, after the 4th time the December of 2022, I cancelled my platinum membership. Well, if you don't have have AAA or Roadside Assistance thru your insurance you are screwed when it comes to towing. Well after a long day of calling various places found on the internet and local papers, my garage referred me to them. The woman I spoke with was pleasant, courteous, empathetic and efficient she got me the lowest price.for an 18 mile tow (and i had some quotes upwards or 800 -1000$) and she was able to immediately dispatch. Wrecker was there in 20 mins, and I was finished this harrowing task less than 45 mins later. 5 stars from me!

I was stuck for close to 24 hours in another State, I live in RI. No one would help me. No other Towing company. They all wanted close to 1600. But these guys came and showed it. They got me out in 15 minutes. And was very fair with price. I LOVE THEM. they are the best

My son was in an accident and the police called CDLS. They are the rudest people to deal with. They would not allow us to access our personal items in the vehicle until they received an email from my insurance company. What a joke. Now they won’t even allow us to pick up our vehicle until the insurance company pays the towing, another scam so they can keep charging storage fees. How many more hoops do we have to jump through to get our belongings?Terrible customer service Terrible company policy Do not recommend at all

We needed to have our 5th wheel camper towed and were having a hard time finding someone to do it. We were happy to find them. I’ll start this by saying the tow driver was great. He got the camper from point a to point b with no issues and was so very nice. It was a difficult one because it started on a steep driveway, which is why we had been turned down for service a few time with fears they might damage our camper. He did an excellent job. However whatever they have going on in the office needs fixing. When I called I was quoted $240/hr, which was about what we figured to pay to move it 20 minutes away. The day of our appointment I had to wait over an hour. When I called in they had been at a car accident, but no one called me to let me know. Why even make an appointment time? I had the time, but what if I hadn’t? Also when I did call I was then told that it was 240/hr - TWO HOUR MINIMUM. So this tow ended up being double the price we thought. And we had gotten quotes from other places, so this really wasn’t a reasonable price. However, after having such trouble getting a place to do it I just bit the bullet and did it. I would have called somewhere else and got a price had I known, though. My experience with whoever answers the phone there wasn’t great. No complaints about the actual service, and I’m thankful it was done. But man. Get it together.

We agreed they would tow our unit to our shop and agreed that I will call them back to set it up. I called from Friday until Monday and they didn't want to pick up our call. When I finally did reach someone they said they would call me back as soon as they got in touch with Scott. Again we waited and when I called they said Scott said he couldn't do it and we lost more time waiting for nothing. It would be appreciated if you would at least say you can't get the job done instead of not answering the calls.

Was in an accident & next day went to this place after the vehicle was towed and told was undrivable via pictures. We were told to not go through the insurance, that they will total the car no matter what and wanted to charge 500 almost 600 dollars for moving the vehicle 15-25 ft off the grass, insurance said this was insane and so did other companies and called other tows to attempt to remove the vehicle from the property and multiple places said they would NOT associate or even go near CDLS. I took this to heart and CDLS was called and went to get my things and plates from the car to turn over to insurance, the owner cut my mother off mid sentence and asked for her DL after being told insurance will cover the fees and collect the car. When I was grabbing our stuff from the vehicle; I would assume a driver was watching over us like an eagle and made us uncomfortable a bit and didn't seem to like the fact I inspected the frame, under the hood & poked and prodded within the engine bay to inspect damage. After this; I concluded there was mainly body damage evidently present and no mechanical failure via the looks since the bumper absorbed the impact however I do not know for sure. Would not even think about repairs there. Do not recommend for anyone after this experience unless you want to be upcharged.

I can't speak on the drivers or mechanics-this rating is for the woman who answered the phone. She is very short & rude. My kid had his vehicle towed and it was being held there. He (my son) is a good communicator and usually handles things on his own but, that woman has a horrible attitude and gave him a very hard time. He was unable to get all the information he needed from her. I called after him and she first told me that she cant share the information. Then I explained that he already called and he didn't get all of his questions answered. She was offended and claimed that she definitely told him everything he needs to know. I told her that he doesn't know the cost of keeping it there after speaking with you and her response was, "I don't know the cost of holding a vehicle, that's not my department." When I asked that she connect me with the person who can answer my questions she responded to me as if I was being rude. Assertive, probably but, I was not rude. Unfortunately, you only need a tow in a desperate situation so everyone just has to deal w/ her horrible customer service. The guy she patched me through to was great. He answered my question and told me to have a nice day. Seems to me like she's just making them look bad.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE FOLKS! They hit my car with their tow truck while my car was parked at the dealer for general repair. It is now 2 1/2 weeks later and both their insurance company, the dealership and myself have tried over and over again to get the information from CDLS to get the car fixed and have received nothing but push back. When I tried to call them they lied about when they started to investigate the claim and even hung up on me. Yes I was not happy with them but I was professional. In speaking with their insurance company they are are not getting any cooperation either. If this is how they handle things that are 100% their fault imagine how they run their business. BEWARE

Called on a Sunday, mothersday no less and got a quote in a few minutes so far so good with running a business my self I know how it can be. Very commendable. Update to my previous review dropped my truck off to get repaired called maby once every week or 2 and every phone call was the same the owner will call you back 2 months my truck Was at this place and didn’t even look at it after I was told to drop it off at leased tell me what’s going on if you don’t want to work on my truck or aren’t capable let me know and I don’t have to waist my time. Would not recommend unless

Worst experience ever attempting to get a vehicle towed. Called AAA, driver was very late. Needed to verify that we could take vehicle off our mechanics property even though we had receipt of payment. Fine, but he drove all over the parking lot for 10 minutes trying to get service on his phone to confirm with mechanic even though we offered our phones for him to use. He was rude the entire time. Then needed up saying he was going to “drive up the hill” to try to get service and never came back. After 10 minutes we tried to go up the hill to find him - drove two miles with no sign of him. Rudest tow driver I have ever encountered along with two+ hours of wasted time and still did not end up being able to get the vehicle towed.
