Excellent service and very efficient. I normally go mid week to avoid long lines. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the service here. I only wish they were closer to my home in RI but definitely worth the drive
Great Service in and out. Sure beats standing in line at the grocery inserting one item at a time. Just make sure your cans and plastic bottles are clean so that it doesn’t cause issues with the machinery.
Closed when I went, despite hours saying they were open. Didn't bother to update their hours. Apparently they had been closed all day, but door east open?!🤦♀️
Just wish they did not have the incense burning in the front of the building where people are returning bottles - it is so strong! Some people are extremely sensitive to things like incense, etc. Perhaps they can move the incense to burn further in the back of the room so people won't be affected and do not smell incense on them all day long on their clothes and in hair. In addition to irritated eyes as well........ Thank you for assisting us with the state recycle requirement.
Typically in and out. Occasionally long lines. Many with bags upon bags of returnables. Not clean by any means. I wash / rinse my cans. It was nice to see the staff turn away people. The equipment is expensive and not accepting dirty returnables will ensure they will remain open.
Odd reading these reviews about everyone going into the redemption center with bags... I went in this morning and was turned away because we brought the cans and plastic bottles in bags.
Went in today with a couple large bags. Hats off to John who was working sorting at the front. He had a bunch of people show up with multiple bags each and he was on it. Can’t say as much for the other employees that were there. Hanging out in the back, just standing around. John had to ring the bell on the counter multiple times just to get someone to come to the front to pay people out. The only reason I gave a five star is because of John!! Thank you John!!!
Went there for first time today. Was referred to by a co-worker. Quick in and out and friendly and helpful staff and some of the customers waiting outside with me before they opened. I used to go to South Windsor for years, But not as friendly and recently they don't take everything like they used to. This is my new place!
I would give it 6 stars if I could, fast and excellent service, machine counts accurately, been here many times, it saves me from having to go to multiple stores like Stop & Shop and Aldis and spend time putting them in the machine 1 by 1, now I can just bring them all to one place, they don't take anything big for example 2 liter bottles but the guy was super nice about it since it was my first time as I honestly didn't know, had just assumed they took everything lol, he helped me pick them out and let me return the rest, one time someone had loads and loads of bags to return, and he asked them if he could pay them out real quick, take me, then do the rest of theirs, since I only had 1 bag.
Easy to get to. Small parking lot. Quick count of individual cans and bottles. 2cnd time w large returns of Sam Adam’s bottles in their original 12 pack. Backed up to rear garage door. Easy off load of these bottles. Bottles may be in cases. Second time there. Will not be last. Can . count were quick n accurate no issues. Clean facility. Better than
Popping can or plastic into one of those machines

Use the front door. And just dump in the conveyor.
Be advised. If your bottles came in a holder like a cardboard 6 pack. You must return with the cardboard.
First time here, the crew is super helpful and nice, helped me feel comfortable with my anxiety going to new places. I was in and out in three minutes. Definitely will be back and highly recommend!
What a great way to return your recyclables at Killingly Redemption Center! Fast, Easy and great staff members. All these years of recycling our cans and bottles at the town redemption center, I think of all the money I threw away. I now keep the recyclable containers and bring them here and redeem the money spent on the bottle deposits!
