Had my road Glide picked up because they had a winter special free pickup and delivery and a price drop on hourly rate. I was going to have everything done in the spring but I couldn't pass up saving some money and the bike will be ready to go no down time for parts all done.

The guys at the counter were very friendly, parient & helpful. Amswered all of our questions. Huge inventory of twin cam parts as well as apparel & riding gear. As of 11/25/25 they are having a 3 hole special for $175, full synthetic oil is a little extra.

I wanted to take my motorcycle in for maintenance and since it is the largest shop in the area I said I would have to go there… I have heard many things but I could not give an opinion until I went in person… and the experience was unpleasant… but the worst was the price of an extremely inflated budget… so much so that it motivated me to go to other shops to ask (I thank the doc’s who motivated me to go to other better places with more affordable prices) and I ended up receiving the maintenance I wanted for three times less money… (I am not going to say prices because they are exaggerated) we are talking about motorcycles not trucks… it seems to me that they have a good place but they like to scare away those they do not like… waste of time and space… the guy seemed like he was doing me a favor as if I did not have time, terrible service and then he wanted me to pay him a certain amount just to talk to him… at the other place I paid the total for the maintenance when it was ready and they also gave me budget papers detailing the expenses. Clearly (at doc’s it was almost a robbery)… I felt like I had been saved from being scammed

I went to Doc’s Motorcycle Parts in Waterbury Connecticut for the first time in 1982 . It was a positive experience ; however I moved out of state since then. I came back a month ago , to purchase a Sportster from a friend . While I spent a week and a half there , this 2005 model needed a lot of work and parts . I came from Newtown several times to get about $1,000.00 total in parts . They mounted the tires that I bought from them while I waited and balanced them . The entire service AND parts team did a most stellar job . There was a manufacturing issue with one small item and they immediately replaced it with a positive customer service experience . I TOTALLY recommend this shop ! I’m 65 years old , and this is my 14th Harley in the last 46 years.

I had passing lamps and some auxiliary lighting installed on my 2016 Street Glide Special. They did excellent work - fast and clean!

I don't know if it's my impression or if it's like that with everyone, the times I go to that store, as soon as they see me, they ask me what I need, like they don't like you to see what they sell, like they think you're going to steal something from them, they don't miss you. Seen today I asked someone there if the bicycles are available with financing and they told me not only with a check or cash and now that I enter the website there is an option to apply for credit, they are very pedantic people...

Like most of the motorcycle owners that will read this, my bikes are very important to me. I have been a customer for many years. Mike and every person that I have come into contact with have always treated me with respect and paid attention to my questions and concerns. Both of my bikes have definitely benefited from their knowledge and attention to detail. I rely on Doc's for all of the services my bikes need. I highly recommend them for parts, service, and any motorcycling items for you and your precious ride. Doc's is located in Waterbury in the old DMV building which ironically is where I tested for and received my motorcycle license way back in the day!

My family has been going to Docs for as long as I can remember. I feel extremely comfortable and confident going in there and knowing that I will be taken care of and I will have a fantastic interaction. I’ve gone in there many times for a mechanical need (while also not knowing exactly what I need) and have been helped thoroughly and truthfully. The clothing selection is also amazing!!!! Nobody does it like Docs anymore!

They ripped me off , called about one price for a oil change then when I got there it went up 1/4 the proce even tho I already called to confirm the price was 150 . There front man had a nasty attitude. They deleted my post about them on Facebook as well to hide it

I was disappointed with my experience at docs. I used their service department to install one inch handlebar risers for my ktm 390 adventure. I specifically asked the service manager beforehand if he thought that they would fit my bike with the existing clutch and brake cables. He said he thought that they would. Unfortunately the clutch cable is now too tight and pulls while riding. I already paid for the installation and asked him if he would at least remove the risers for no charge because he said he thought they would fit. He said no because I purchased the part myself and quoted me somewhere in the $300 range to remove them. I’m disappointed that the service department doesn’t stand behind their recommendation that the part would fit and that they would charge me to remove the part. I would be cautious of using them for service in the future and wouldn’t expect them to back up their recommendations if they turn out to be wrong.

My husband loves this place! I went to pick up parts My Husband ordered and decided to check out women's merchandise. They have a decent selection of "Made In America" clothing items! I purchased a few things but haven't worn them yet! I was trying to joke around with the sales guy but he wasn't interested! Not very friendly at all!

Great staff, great service and reasonable prices! If I didn't live 1-1/2 hours away I would definitely bring my motorcycle there for any and all my servicing. If you are looking for accessories and clothing.... they also have a very large selection of both in stock. While riding on I84 my motorcycle just dies. Not knowing the area (1-1/2 hours from home) the tow truck driver recommended Doc's. Because it was after 3:30pm they weren't' able to look at my bike that day. Buy they said they would be able to look at it first thing in the morning. So, expecting the worst... I was surprised to get a call around 10am the next day and was told my bike just needs a battery. But they didn't have the battery I needed in stock. I pickup a battery, bring it to the shop, only to find out it's the wrong size battery. They really helped my out by offering to put in a "shop" battery in the bike so that I can at least ride it home. Thanks Doc's for making a very frustrating situation a minor bump in the road!

I had Doc's work on my 08 Road King last year. Meat hooks, chrome cable kit, heated grips, LED lights all around, new rear tire, 40k service....so nothing TOO crazy but still a good amount of work. The one road block was the rear tail light assembly. I have pinstriping on my bike so I wanted a different tail light assembly to show it off better. It took a LONG time to get one to fit. I was getting frustrated so after the second phone call I made to check up on things, the woman told me she spoke to the mechanic doing the work and the reason it was taking so long is because they ordered two different parts and the mechanic didn't like the way it looked on the bike. They FINALLY found a part in Danbury that fit and drove to get it and it looked good according to the mechanic. Moral of the story is these guys know bikes and they actually give a s#$^ about what goes on them. Yeah I was frustrated about how long it took but it was not at all because they are slow. They took the time to make sure the bike looked good before they gave it to me. That means a lot in any business ESPECIALLY when dealing with riders and their toys. Also, the final price was within 100 bucks of they originally quoted me. Definitely recommend these guys and will absolutely be going back.

Great place, great people. Friendly and want to help ya. Took my 85yo mom's little Appolo quad to get some work done and turned it right around and she's buzzing around on it again. I only wish had some toys for Wing's lol.

We love the Doc's experience all around, from having our bike serviced to the clothing accessories to buying helmets and then being able to order face shields after the fact. Also when you order something, it doesn't take forever for the call to go pick it up. And if you ever have an issue with ANYTHING you've purchased from them, they make customer satisfaction a priority 😉 way to go Doc's, you guys rock !!

Tried to up sell 3 hours labor for a stuck oil drain bolt. Anyone that knows what’s involved in removing it would know that is absurd. Moved here recently and didn’t have my tools. Brought it to another place that removed it in 2 minutes and did not charge. Will not be using them at all in the future. Do your research before letting them handle your bike.

Good guy’s bit pricey but worth getting your parts ASAP and there isn’t a shipping fee. I buy almost all of my motorcycle parts there. I purchased the fork bag there really good price

Had a lot of good experiences with docs and the service. But they burned me this time. Be careful with what they tell you. I bought brake lines for my bike. The employee measured my old lines and sold me the new lines. He told me if I had any trouble with them not fitting, just bring them back he would exchange them for longer lines. Just so happened that after tightening the lines, they were very tight. Couldn’t tell until they were fully tightened. So I went back and the woman told me that she couldn’t return them because they were installed. Wasted 60.00. Should of just ordered them from Amazon and wouldn’t have lost 60.00, Amazon would of returned them no problem.

Faithful to their word; work was performed but failed a couple miles away after picking it up. Docs came with the van, took it back to the shop and did the complete repair a second time. It’s always a pleasure to work with those who say what they mean and mean what they say. Thank you Mike and the Docs team for your patience and persistence. The GeezerGlide is running great.

Great shop and best selection of accessories and parts. I’ve been going up from New Haven every couple rides. Yesterday was riding up route 8 and my bike started wobbling and I knew something major was wrong. I limped into Doc’s and asked if they can help me out (no appt plus riding a Victory...they have a lot of Harley stuff). They took me in and ended up changing my tires out. Other shops like Libby’s or Brookfield say they’re a Victory shop but would no doubt have made me leave the bike. They did me a solid and gave me the price consistent when I looked later on the victory guy forums. Very nice guys and highly recommend for all bikes! Thank you!

Pretty cool spot, service was helpful, lots of parts and apparel geared toward Harley’s. A little old and out dated - that’s a plus and a minus actually, better than new and sterile but has kind of the Napa auto parts vibe if you know what I mean, but better. Some over priced bikes for sale but they look awesome, than again much better price than at a place like a Harley dealership. Haven’t had any bike services so can’t comment on that

This is a great place, I've been going here for 30 yrs, the employees have always been great, very helpful as well, I never leave there empty handed!! They aren't an authorized Harley Davidson dealer, they do a lot of Easy Rider, they also build there own bike, well I know at one time they did!! Love love love Docs

Not many of us work on our own bikes these days but if you do, you probably know about Doc's. And if you don't, you should. Doc's is an institution. Doc's sells parts and... well you will have to see for yourself. But one thing is sure, chances are they will have the part you need at a good price. Only once, in too many years to mention, did they not have the part I needed in stock. Once.... and that time they called around and located what I needed at a local Harley dealer. In short, they had me back on the road that same night even though they didn't have the part themselves. What makes Doc's special are two men in particular. Lee has an encyclopedic knowledge of part numbers that amazes me to this day. Bob is not far behind Lee and I doubt you can find more knowledgable guys to help you out. The only bad thing I can come up with is that I will soon be moving to Myrtle Beach permanently and I have yet to find anything close to Doc's. I will truly miss these guys and all the help they have given over the years.

Brought my 2012 HD FXDC in for tire installation. Service manager was very nice and quote was fair. Very comfortable waiting area and the staff inside the store was helpful. Work was done faster than expected and they did an excellent job. Besides the tires they suggested front brakes at an excellent price and I agreed. When the service manager went over the work performed with me I found that they had also checked several other issues with the bike and made adjustments at no additional charge. I have had less than great experiences at HD dealers for service and would definitely recommend Doc's.

Friendly courteous staff eager to provide assistance. Nostalgic atmoshere with many antique motorcycles. Reasonable prices for service and biker gear. Don't have to wait weeks to get your bike in for service.

Great work on my 08 bagger... Excellent service explaining everything that was done and right on target with their estimate. Gave 5 stars only because there was no room for 10. Hi recommend stopping by... Even if just to hang out!
