Five Stars. Being the owner of a small business I feel like that requires a special level of service to keep things moving and flowing. Emmett At allegiance has given me the level of service that I need to stay on track, keep my customers happy and keep the trucks safe and running right. Can't thank you guys enough and will be recommending to all of my colleagues for years to come.
I had an extremely great experience dealing with them in a very nerve wrecking time. Emmet and his team went out of there way to help me when my motor blew with traveling thru their area. They ran a diagnostic on it for a more than reasonable price and when I couldn't afford to fix it at the time they allowed me to store it there for a week and a half till I could get someone to tow it home.I had 2 fully loaded Job boxes on it that wasn't touched the whole time. Very stand up guys which u typically don't find in this day.
Jim and Dan in the service department are very helpful and work to get our trucks back on the road as soon as possible. I would recommend them to anyone looking for truck repair services.
Jim Lango was extremely helpful when we broke down with our Escalade during camping trip due to major engine problems(had over 300k miles). Needed new engine and he helped with looking for rentals, potential repair cost/time,etc.
Very friendly and allowed car to remain on site till we sent title to junk car after deciding not to fix. Very professional team and finally helped in getting salvage yard to pick up car and he also sent us the reimbursement check that the salvage yard gave them for car. If I ever have any car trouble and am in the area, I would definitely go back to Allegiance Trucks for diagnosis and repair of my vehicle!

Thank you Eileene and the cool dude who kept my car safe and showed me where my baby was parked for months while I recovered from heart attack at Waterbury Hospital. I had an angel on my side. They weren't trying to profit from my pain and I'm eternally grateful.
I was stranded here because of a flat tire and the owners kept me company while I awaited a tow. They looked at my flat to see if they had anything for it. They were the sweetest people. Thank you.
Super friendly staff very knowledgeable about their business and what they're doing. I pray we never have to go to them again. I mean who wants car trouble.!? but if we do we definitely will with a smile on our face.

Stopped to get air in a tire, a mechanic walked over to see if I needed help and determined I had a nail in my tire. He then spent 22 minutes to repair my tire and refused to charge me. I of course paid him anyway. What a place!

Got a letter from them in the mail after my car got towed from an accident. Not only are they charging me almost 200$ for a tow but also 60$ if I don’t come in on time JUST to get my stuff and also paying for the letter they sent. The lady I spoke to was no help at all after I explained my family and I are sick and quarantined due to corona. Please avoid this company.
Dropped truck off for no power problem. After some time called and said truck was ready. Picked up truck couldn't break 30mph on on ramp to highway or up the hill on highway. Dropped truck back off. After some time said something wrong but couldn't fix it. Took truck to dealer in Hartford they changed temp sensor everything ok
Full service, attendant at gas pumps always prompt and friendly.
What a wonderful service especially for your handicapped driver. This service has sadly diminished over the years.
Full service stations with filling attendants have seemingly been replaced by groceries.
Did I ever even imagine going to the gas station as a kid with mom anything more than “Fill it please” oh and “Do you have a rest room”? This has faded to only a memory.
Hats off to Hines Brothers and the few other places that still ask “Would you like me to check your oil”?
Full service misconception that it will be more expensive than getting gas at the local self serve stations. That’s not been my experience locally anyway.

Overpriced. Unbelievable. My car stalled out across the street (literally could see it from the service window.) Charged me $105 for a tow. 5 feet across the street.
Told me the reason my car wouldn't start is because of a crank shaft position sensor. They replaced the part and called me at 5:00 to tell me it was all set to be picked up. By the time they had called me, everyone in the office/garage was gone for the night. They left a gas station attendant to have me sign paperwork and collect money. I couldn't even complain to anyone about the price, but I need my car. So I guess their business model is to take advantage of people in need.
A crank shaft position sensor costs, on average, $17. They charged me $170 for the part.
My total bill was $424 to replace a $17 sensor that takes all of 2 minutes to change. I could have done the work myself. Pathetic.
Do NOT come to this place. They had a 1000% markup on MSRP and charged me $105 for a tow across the street. Seriously. Go anywhere but here.

Absolutely AWFUL! DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY! They towed a car into their facility after the accident, repeatedly gave the owner a hard time about having the vehicle picked up by the company that was going to repair the vehilce, closed early without telling anyone so they could collect storage, then they LOST the vehicle! Yes, LOST the vehicle! They let some unknown tow company tow the vehicle out and didn't know where it was being taken to! Absolutely the WORST business and I deal with tow companies for a living!
I had to give a star to publish the post but they deserve ZERO STARS!
My wife hit a snow bank during an early February snowstorm. The timing belt slipped a tooth and the car had to be towed. I was stuck in traffic on I84 because the storm was bad. So the State Police called Hines Brothers to tow the car. Hines Brothers towed the car about 200 yards and charged $122.00. As a former business owner I get it. They have expenses and liability. But what is unfair is that they charged us for a day's storage too. They towed the car to their facility and when they could not provide a timely estimate for repairs we decided to have the car towed to our mechanic's facility. They had the car for less than a day and yet charged us a storage fee for a day. Seems like they took advantage of us during a rough storm. I also saw them using a customer's vehicle - a CL&P truck - to tow another customer's tractor rig because their truck couldn't pull it on the ice. (I suppose it's possible that they obtained permission from CL&P) I also found them to be rude.
