Dishonest and shady in my opinion. Called and was quoted one price per pound over phone. Went down there and was paid less than half that price per pound according to their print out sheet. The quoted price was 30-50 cents less than calamari recycling but this place was much closer so I went here instead. I told them over the phone exactly what I had.
If you go insist on weighing your more precious metals without the wheel barrow. They did not weigh the wheel barrow afterwards either. There are like 20 different wheel barrows with different tires, frames, materials etc. They weigh it in the wheel barrow.
Not only did they short me on the price per pound but on the amount of pounds too I am pretty sure.
So I have no idea why there would be any bad reviews for All American Recycling. Not from the area but was doing a demo job near there and looked for a local scrap yard which was close. The guys were super nice and friendly with me, went through their process and how to unload everything, I'm not a big scrapper but he also gave me info on what type of copper scrap I had, then gave me more than a fair price for what I had, wasn't exactly the cleanest copper, if I'm ever in the area again I'll go there
I mean you can't expect White glove service at a scrap metal yard, but the prices they they are very fair, and they do have a ground scale to actually weigh vehicles.
I have had nothing but a great experience with All American Scrap, always a great conversation with everyone, and prices are national average, I seen some bad reviews but mostly all were good, ever think it might be the person who's wrong? I don't go anywhere else anymore
Extremely honest. That's the most important thing in this industry. They come out and help new customers with how to sort metals and treat everyone with respect, while still expediting the service. I'd rather drive the 10 miles to go here than, the other place down the street from where I live.
The best scrapyard in the state . The owner has become one of my favorite people in the world , and everyone that works there is super nice ( as long as you don't try actin the fool)
Went here today and had a good experience. Staff was more than helpful. And yes, they weigh the metal. There are many bins sitting right outside the building you can load up and bring right on the scale. They also have a drive on scale. Prices were reasonable and I will be going back here.
