Husband and wife dynamic duo, they were so sweet and thorough with their work. I got new tires with them and their prices were very affordable. 10/10 recommend
I had 2 flat tires yesterday. I called my friend to take the tires off and I had already called them and they had 2 gently used tires which they put on my rims, they were having a hard time probably because my rims were a little bent but they got it to work. The entire cost was $90.00 I gave them a hundred no problem what a great deal
These people are no good. Women in the counter has a nasty attitude and husband is a drunky . Several packs of empty beers laying around the floor where he mount customers tires. Go somewhere else !.
I wouldn’t recommend this place . I brought my own tires to begin with which she said $35 to swap and mount each tires. 2 in the front and 1 in the right back . Next thing you know the husband took off the one in the back that still had enough thread to get me by another season than we spoke about the mistake he had made and the wife said “okay I’ll put the tire back for $35 because I have to mount them in again . The tire that needed to be taken off to begin with and swap to a different tire in the back right side couldn’t even be done since the husband ended up rounding my lug nut . So now I have to figure out how to remove that lug nut on my own or a mechanic shop. They only swap 2 tire which should’ve been $70 and ended up being $140.
All this process took 3-4 hours .
Very straightforward and fair. Didn't try to push towards more expensive work. Immediately started work when I arrived and were finished quickly. Thank you for such a pleasant experience!

Tire lasted less than two weeks. Blow out at 65 mi lo es an hour on highway.
Went back.... they tried to sell me another tire. They stated that they are not responsible!

If you dont value your life and safety, then buy a tire from Ponce Tires.
Bought one a week and a half ago. Had a blow out while driving on I 84 .
Went back and the owner said ' tires blew out on the road and they are not responsible!

the woman that runs this place has a nasty attitude, she acts like she is doing you a favor by allowing you to spend your money here. if you do buy tires here when shes taking your money she is a sweetheart but something happens with the tires and you go back there be prepared for her attitude to come out. theres a place a lil further into Meriden by Teds that sells used tires, great tread and cheaper than Ponce. Oh and also Ponce gives you a certain price online and when you get there she says oh I sold out of those tires, all i have are ones that are like $15-$20 more each... if i could give negative stars i would
Found them through Facebook Marketplace & they were very responsive & had me in and out within an hour. I had them replace my two back tires and I'm going back next week to get my two front tires done! Highly recommend!!
Product described accurately. Follow up questions answered via a simple phone call. Laurie and Eduardo had a customer first attitude and wanted to make sure I took advantage of sitting for a spell in their reception area while the work was completed.
Bottom line they advertised a product and service. 100% they delivered. I will be comfortable recommending Ponce Turnpike Tire to my friend and family.
I called several shops in the area. The first jerked me around for days before I gave up. The others didn't have my tires in stock...
I wish I just called Ponce first because they were really great! They not only had my tire in stock, but when I got there and they looked at my other tires that were still fairly new, they gave me the best tire they had, and were willing to do it at the same price that they quoted me on the phone even though they normally would have charged me $10 more the owner said.
I was happy to pay the extra money anyway, but really appreciated the awesome customer service. I was in and out of here within 20 minutes.
Going forward, this will be my first stop when I find myself in a similar situation.
Went today for a pair of Bridgestone tires. The second tire had a small bubble and they were very honest about the problem. So I left with only one tire but it's OK. Having been in the business I watched them work and they did everything correctly. Understand used tires have no warranty. If they hold air and you drive away that's as far as it goes.
I had some snow tires replaced with used ones. Asked for 205 they put 215 on. The whole front end of the car shakes now when I'm going 45 mph. Also had them do the headlights. He broke the latch on my hood of my car, and I know it wasn't broke when I arrived. I had opened it in the morning to check power steering fluid. He pulled on the latch instead of turning it. Now I can't drive on the highway. Wish I never went there. Should have went to Newington Tire or Heavenly tire in Meriden. Now to replace the latch etc will cost me more than the new tires .
Went back again today, asked for my old tires back and told them how much a new latch will cost. Women said her husband opened the hood correctly because she told him how to do it. You think he would know how to open the hood himself. Also said I had an old car so it probably broke by itself.
She said my rim had a problem when I came. It didn't have a problem and my front didn't shake. She said she could put (worn out back tires) on the front .. Just so tired of people not taking responsibility for what THEY screwed up.. GO somewhere else. This place is terrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE. Tire didn't even last 3 weeks. They took forever to put on, charged more said it was better, had me road side Broke down in a few weeks. Owner says if it lasted 3 weeks it was good and "use common sense" about his tires. Rude, disrespectful and doesn't deserve business. Be careful, buy at own risk. Wish I could post the text from these rude non professionals. My first ever harsh review, hopefully point is clear beware.
I believe this is a family owned and operated business , husband and wife . And every time we have gone to ponce on the turnpike we have had very good experience from customer service to friendly helpful staff. They have tons of used tires to choose from if you get in a jamb. I needed 1 tire 22" Dia and they had the outlet to chose from. They also do automotive repair. Good stuff for sure. Thanks ponce
Great experience! Used tires may be 1 of the beak kept secrets in the car game & Ponce makes it so easy. Anyone who’s ever gone searching salvage yards for used tires will LOVE that they keep an up-to-date inventory. #recommended
