Great guy very knowledgeable synchronize my carbs and fixed some other issues I wasn't aware of also helped me load my bike i would recommend his shop for any service needed hands down outstanding service.

Went there with my brother to replace 2 rear tire .Mark was knowledgeable Gave us some pointers on riding better . Got us a fair price on replacing tire . Definitely my go to guy.

After hunting for a shop to clean my carbs and getting nothing but uncertain quotes; I called Tek-1 Cycles, and the owner Mark picked up. He was very kind, upfront, and honest! After only a few minutes into the call, I knew he had a true passion for his work, as he had no problem expressing his knowledge. Mark went out of his way to make me feel comfortable in my choices and explain to me what I needed to know, and I truly appreciate the top-notch customer service!

After spending many hundreds of dollars at the dealer with extremely poor results. Time after time being told I was all set when in fact the problems with my VTX 1300r kept getting worse, I decided I was all done with the dealership. Called Tek1 and brought the bike in. Very busy place. I was kept informed on what was being done with the bike. When I picked it up and started it I was amazed. Sounded better than ever. Giving it throttle results in instant excelleration I haven't felt in years of dealing with the dealer every year. Runs and rides excellent. I would recommend Tek1 to anyone looking for honest and complete service for their bike. I noticed a wide rage of different bikes while there. I'll never bring my bike to the dealer again. This place is legit.

Went in here to get my bike looked at a few months back. Mark is an awesome guy and very knowledgeable but he may be stretched a bit too thin as far as workload goes. First it takes him over 2 weeks to look at my bike and when he does, tells me I need a new engine after a few tests. Come to find out through a secondary mechanic that just the flywheel bolt had came loose and just needed replacement and was up and running after less than $50 in parts. If he would of done a thorough diagnosis I wouldn't of needed to spend all the extra money I did on my bike. I don't typically write these types of reviews and I'm not saying Mark isn't a good mechanic but managing workload to provide the best service possible is a part of running a business and should maybe hire help to maintain a high level quality of work

I found out about Tek-1 from my brother in law who had a great experience getting tires for his Indian. I needed new tires so I stopped down. Owner is very friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. Got my tires ordered quickly and service done in one business day. He was great as a first time customer he gave me a little break on the service. He also did a safety check on the whole bike which was comforting to know everything checked out. I definitely recommend and will be back.

Brought my bike here to get my chain and sprockets replaced. Extremely happy with the service. The owner Mark was extremely knowledgeable and very personable! Amswered all my questions with zero judgement. I will definitely be a returning customer as well as suggesting to anyone that rides to come here for maintenance.

I had a flat rear tire on my MT-07 so I reached out to a few local motorcycle shops and TEK-1 was the most courteous and most responsive of them all. They even recommended me to check my valve stem first to see if the leak was an easy fix that I can diy myself - saving money and time. Great small business!

Mark took my bike in right away. He diagnosed the problem very quickly and he gave me the information that I needed so the problem wouldn’t happen again. I also asked him to help my with my timing chain to check and make sure the tensioner was all good. He took the extra time and did it for me. Very happy and would recommend his services!!!! I will be back for my motorcycle needs.

Can’t recommend this place enough. Tek-1 cycles has top notch customer service. I called Mark on a Friday afternoon to swap some tires on my bike and he got the job done. Not only did he do a great job, he handled my bike as if it was his own. He also made me aware of other minor mechanical issues on the bike. Super knowledgeable and very friendly. I've utilized Mark at Tek1 several times over the last several years. His knowledge is great and was shared with no feeling of rush nor bother. I've taken 3 bikes to his shop for a pre-purchase inspection. He has gone over every inch of the bikes and not only inspected but educated me about the different things each bike may need. After a nerve racking 45 mile ride on a rear tire with steel belt showing, I woke up the next morning and started making calls. Nobody had my tire size. (Older bike) However, Mark had enough knowledge and experience that he was able to get it done, that day, with a slightly oversize tire so I can get to work. He probably ended up saving my life, as I would've ridden it till the tire fell off, with no choice in the matter for weeks. I'd recommend tek1 to anyone and everyone who rides and has limited time. Mark is amazing! He is very experienced, knowledgeable and informative. He worked on (and made like new!) my 2007 Suzuki Boulevard, which I could not find any experienced specialists in my area (other than the dealer) to work on. From my 1st call, Mark completely understood what I was attempting to explain (as a very new rider/owner) was wrong with the bike sight unseen. Once he had the bike in hand, he was very good at communicating with me what my options were along the way, as I had a few issues (electrical and hardware) due to some mice deciding to make my bike a home! When I picked up my bike, I couldn't believe that it was mine! Mark had buffed up the Chrome, fixed a couple of cosmetic things just cuz that's the kind of guy Mark is, I so appreciate everything he did to resurrect my bike and his end price was very reasonable! I so appreciate what he did for the Suzuki, I've already discussed with him about repairing somethings on my Harley, which I was very happy to hear he works on too! Huge weight off my shoulders that I have finally found a qualified and talented motorcycle mechanic in my area! You will not be disappointed going with Tek-1 for all your motorcycle repair needs!

Mark is the man. Hands down the most knowledgeable motorcycle tech/mechanic in CT and probably New England. He’s a straight shooter and one of the friendliest guys around. Took the time to explain everything to me along every step of the way. I’ve got an older bike that almost every shop in the area turned down and Mark took it in and brought her back to life. I brought my 2014 GSXR-1000 to Mark right after I got into a little accident. As soon as I arrived he assessed the damage and made a list of what was needed for the repair. Picked up the bike today and I was very pleased with his work. Mark fixed my 2011 Yamaha R1. He installed a variety of aftermarket parts, did routine maintenance, and installed new tires on my bike. He is very knowledgeable and does an extremely good job. Dropped off my Yamaha R1 with drivability issues on a Friday and I had the bike back the following Wednesday in perfect running condition for a fair price. Very friendly and knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything to me I would highly recommend them!
