My family and I have had several experiences buying cars in the past few years. Canton Auto Exchange stands out as the best experience BY FAR. My Honda Civic had a new battery, new tires, and was like a new car. 6 years or so and 100k miles later, it's still great! Poor experiences with other dealers since then have reinforced that I should have given you folks a positive review, so here I am :)

The transmission in my Jeep Patriot died for the second time in almost exactly two years, and I was in an emergency bind for a new vehicle. We found a great little Hyundai Venue for sale at Canton Auto Exchange, and everyone there was incredibly helpful in putting it "on rush" so I wouldn't be without a vehicle for too much longer. We test drove it Saturday, and brought it home this Wednesday evening. I couldn't be more pleased with how everything turned out, and was very impressed with how personable and professional the guys at Canton Auto Exchange are. Thanks again!!!

BUYER BEWARE!!! Bought a jeep liberty 2 years ago with 35k miles on it. It lasted till 60k. The car had regular oil changes performed yet the engine blew after 25k miles. (still owe 7k on a car worth 6k, paid 14k) So I called jay to see what we could do about the situation . I figured he might try to rectify the problem. He said his shop wouldn’t want to put an engine in it. I suggested putting me into another car that I would pay for in cash maybe at or as close to cost as possible to make it right. Jay suggested a Kia that he took on trade listed for 10.4K at 9k. The car had frame damage and I didn’t think that was the right car for us. He said that was the best he could do for us. He assured me that he would look at some of his other cars to see what he could do. That was the last I heard from him or anyone from CAE. You would think a car dealer that buys cars at auctions would be able to get us into a car, relatively cheap and sacrifice one cars profit to make a customer happy. We thought they would care more about their customers, but I guess not. Needless to say, I will not recommend any of my friends or loved ones to find a reliable car here again. 0-5 STARS

I wish I could give 0 stars, but that’s not an option. I bought a 2008 Jeep Liberty 2 years ago almost to the day from this establishment. The car had 35,000 on it and i paid 14,000 dollars. For the first 4 months of owning the car I had to bring it back multiple times because the heat wasn’t working. I used my car for a living so I needed the heat to be functional. They kept slapping a bandaid on it and calling it a day. When winter was almost over, the cracked heater core finally gave out and they replaced it. Fast forward to two weeks ago. The car now has 60,000 miles on it. On the way home from work my engine blows. Still owe an obscene amount of money on this hunk of junk sitting in my driveway. We then called Jay and explained everything that happened. He acted like he cared and then claimed he was going to help us find another car and would call us back. It’s been a week and still haven’t heard from him. Needless to say, I will NEVER buy another car from them and recommend you don’t either.

I received exceptional service during my vehicle purchasing process at Canton Auto Exchange. The entire team was extremely nice and welcoming. I was given the space to pick a vehicle that would best suit my needs and I never felt pressured during the process. After a few visits to the dealership, my son and I felt as if we were visiting old friends. Their commitment to providing excellent customer service and the fact that they stand behind the vehicles they sell is why I would recommend this dealership to everyone. Friends and family included. 6 stars. 10/10 would buy here again. Quality vehicles, reasonable prices, but most of all they stand behind what they’re selling. They found an issue prior to sale and fixed it. I found an issue post sale and they fixed it. Couldn’t be happier. Glad honest people still sell used cars. Big thanks to the sales team. Edit 3/24: 12 stars. Unheard of? So is their commitment to taking care of their customers. I’m genuinely impressed.

My family has bought four cars from and sold two cars to Canton Auto Exchange over the past 20 years. Each experience has been positive. They sell quality used cars at a fair price. No games. No 'let me ask my manager.' We have complete confidence in buying a used car from this locally owned business because we know they have already made sure it was in top shape before the sale. Once, there was a small issue with an inside door handle a few months after we bought a car and they replaced it at no cost. If everyone ran their business like Canton Auto Exchange, we wouldn't need a Consumer Protection Bureau. We also have full confidence and trust in their auto repair business, Canton Auto Exchange Service.

These guys are the best. My car buying experience was excellent and I never doubted they were serving my best interest. My other family members have bought from them in the past, and I will definitely be doing to them in the future. A year after I bought my first car from them, I locked the door with the engine running in a parking lot. The owner was so kind to come over and help me out! They go above and beyond!

Really awesome staff. They let you look on your own and they don't follow you around. If you have any questions, they are right there and happy to answer. They were able to get me, someone just out of college, into a newer used car for a FRACTION of the price it would have cost at the dealership. Love these guys, will be recommending them to all my friends and family!

The easiest car buying experience I've ever had. Jay was very easy to talk to and didn't pressure any type of financing or hidden/outlandish fees. Car bought was exactly as advertised. They even fixed minor brake wear, changed out all filters, gave the car a fresh oil change, and detailed/cleaned the entire car free of change before picking it up. Will definitely be doing business here again when the time comes for my next car.

This was by far the best experience I've ever had making a vehicle purchase. Jay and Jonathan are just good people, and I don't say that lightly. I have been hunting for the right deal on a Subaru for 6 or 7 months now, and I found a great deal at Canton Auto Exchange. Nick worked incredibly hard to get me and my husband financing, and he made everything as easy as possible for us. Super down to earth, great prices, great communication, and no pressure! I did my research and came down to the exact kind of car my family needed. I was paying with cash so I knew exactly how much I wanted to spend. I searched all over Connecticut and found the exact car for the exact price literally right down the street at Canton Auto Exchange. I've never had a car buying experience go so smoothly. With no pressure they let me take it out for a few drives, they fixed even some of the smallest things I had questions or hesitations about and when we were ready I signed, paid and drove away. I will update if I have any issues with the car but really I could not have asked for an easier stress-free buying experience. Car we wanted for the price we needed. I will keep this place in mind when it's time to replace our other car.
