Driving to NY from MA when a huge metal rod on the highway lodged itself under my car. I was nervous to continue the trip. Luckily I was in CT not far from Nico's garage. Called and he was so kind, told me to come right over. Arrived safely and he came right out to get the rod out. Didn't want payment for it. He is a great human and everyone would support his garage!

Eddie is a great mechanic! He gets the job done quickly and thoroughly. Their front end manager is great too! Im sorry I cannot remember his name right now. But he was welcoming and respectful! A lot of shops I have been to in the past are not welcoming and you feel uncomfortable and make you want to leave. Not at Cammisa's! They are awesome!! Highly recommended!!

Nico and the staff at Cammisa’s Garage are second to none!! Nico helped me on numerous occasions with my older car and I always felt satisfied with the experience. Nico treats you like family and immediately puts you are ease that he and is team always have your best interest in mind. I cannot say enough good things about Cammisa’s Garage in Shelton. I called several garages today to ask about an oil change, brake pads, and possibly rotors. I had not scheduled an appointment in advance because when I bought my car a few months ago in Meriden, I was told the brake pads had been replaced. While driving today, I realized that was not true. I could hear the rotors grinding and wanted to address the issue before it became worse. Most of the shops I called either did not answer the phone or said they might be able to take a look between jobs. There was no guarantee I would have my car back in time to get to work the next day. Cammisa’s Garage was recommended to me by word of mouth, and from the very first phone call, I understood why. Nico answered the phone and was immediately pleasant and professional. That alone stood out. Many of the other shops I contacted were short and rushed. Nico took the time to listen, gathered all my information, and confidently told me he could look at the car and likely fix it the same day. When I walked in, I was greeted right away. Nico already had a quote prepared based on what we discussed on the phone. He had a genuine and reassuring presence. The environment felt very different from other mechanic shops. It was warm, welcoming, and people oriented. I have never seen a mechanic shop with such a clean front desk and waiting area. Within about 30 minutes of dropping off the car, Nico called to confirm exactly what we suspected. He also reiterated the cost we had already discussed. There were no surprises. Between his friendliness, transparency, and how quickly he took action, I am truly amazed by the level of service. I have not even picked up my car yet, and I am already confident I found my go-to garage. This is not just another mechanic shop. Cammisa’s truly sets the standard.

Easy to make an appointment, the car was ready when expected, staff was friendly and efficient, and the pricing was very reasonable. This is the way a hometown garage should ałways be but seldom is anymore. 6 stars!

They were able to test the alternator on my car and replace the battery without an appointment. Very reasonably priced and provided good advice on our electrical issues. Definitely recommend this repair shop.

These guys did a great job on my 2018 silverado 1500, they did a full driveline fluid change. changing the fluid in the transmission, cleaning the screen and filters. Changed the fluid in the transfer case and both differentials. Had the truck back in a very reasonable time frame for a fair price. Would highly recommend. Good honestly people!

Excellent service! The team was kind, knowledgeable, talented, and did a fantastic job fixing my car quickly and professionally, and the whole experience was easy and stress-free. I honestly had a great experience here and recommended it family and friends.

Several of my coworkers recommended I drop my older model 2nd hand car to Cammisa's to get a quote on a power steering issue, but due to a minor collision unrelated they were unable to get into the area of concern and were unable to move forward with a quote let alone a repair. Nico suggested I get the body work done then come back and move forward. I expected at least a diagnostic fee considering the time that was spent however I was not charged. Needless to say I was grateful and will certainly return to get the repair done.

Cammisas Garage is honestly one of the best shops I have ever been to. From the minute I walked in, everyone was friendly and actually seemed happy to help. Nico is incredible. He took the time to explain what was going on with my car in a way that made sense and never made me feel pressured or rushed. The mechanics here really know what they are doing and you can tell they take pride in their work. My car was finished quicker than I expected and the price was more than fair compared to other places I have tried in the past. It is rare to find a shop that is honest, professional, and truly cares about doing right by their customers but this place hits all of that. I am really glad I found them and this will absolutely be the only garage I use from now on. Highly recommend to anyone looking for real quality and real people who stand behind their work.

Finally found a garage I can actually trust. Nico and the crew are always upfront about costs and timeframes, and they get the job done right the first time.

Great service, very easy to drop off/pay/pickup again. Nico was great and listened to my description of what was wrong, then after looking at the car called back and explained what was wrong and what needed to be done to fix it (power steering pump and high pressure line replacement). Will definitely come back if I need more work done on my Highlander.

I had an engine light and Father Time was working there. mArc, maRk and marKy all helped me out with my problems and then fixed the engine light. I feel very relieved and honoured to be served by this establishment. I come back regularly just to see the three lads.

10/10 service. Stopped in for an oil change and a check engine light. We met with Marc at the front desk, he’s the new owner. Marc was kind and friendly. Our oil change was completed within the hour and we set an appointment to get our catalytic converter replaced at a VERY reasonable price. Most shops I go to I feel like are out to suck you dry for every penny, I didn’t get that vibe here. We’ll definitely be bringing all of our automotive maintenance and repair business to Cammisa’s garage till death do us part. Thanks Marc and cammisa’s team!!!

Gone there 5 or 6 times and they do excellent work. They are friendly and helpful. Explanation of what it is wrong and get you right in. Nico is a wonderful representative of Cammisa's Garage. Always there when you need them. Reasonable prices. Great Mechanics.

NICO!!! Thank you!!!!!!! I would give this place 100 stars if I could! I had a locking lug nut that would not come off because the key was stripped. I called and he said come down. They would take care of it for free. Firestone wanted to charge me $94 to take the one lug nut off. I went down. They took all four locking lug nuts off for me, so that I could have access to all my tires, and they didn’t charge me a penny!!! This is my new shop to go to!! Trustworthy, stuck to their word, didn’t try to find something else wrong with my car. They just did what I asked, and they didn’t charge me anything. How much better can you get?! They sell cars as well my old roommate has a CRV she bought 8 years ago and it’s still going strong!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!!! Thank you to all the mechanics there who are so dedicated to the work they do. It’s called PRIDE! And I’m proud of the work they do! If I need anything this is the place I’m calling!! Lenny was so helpful and when i told him i never financed a car before he explained everything to me step by step made sure i fully knew what i was getting. He was honest and took all the stress out of buying. Im so in love with my new car and lenny made sure it had everything i asked for so it was the best car for me. I will definitely be back to buy a car for my daughter soon and would totally recommend to anyone looking to buy.
