Working with the team at High Country 4 x 4 was an absolute pleasure. From the first email to picking up the keys, John was super responsive and helpful. We had some minor issues pop up related to an oversight on the part of the manufacturer, but he was quick to loop me in and figure out a plan. His 14+ years of experience in the field were indispensable. Everyone else I interacted with at the shop was top-notch. If you're in the market for performance upgrades for your van, I highly recommend reaching out to the team at High Country 4x4. I am super happy with the job they did installing the Van Compass Inverted Monotube Rally Struts on my Ford Transit. 10 / 10, I will be going back.

Matt and Josh were great and helped get my jeep alignment done within the day. I would recommend setting an appointment in advance since they are pretty busy. Overall I had a great experience and they are very knowledgeable.

These guys are the best!!! John helped me set my Tacoma up with Kings, upper arms, ect to clear 34" tires. CJ got my Raptor set up with Gold Kings and some Camburg parts. Josh most recently helped me out with an 86 Toyota pickup project I just picked. The whole team at HCP has earned my business for life.

These folks are awesome. I had a new Rubicon lifted, new wheels, etc. They did an amazing job. Really want to shout out to CJ, who helped design the package and see it through. He is so knowledgeable. You really feel confident you're getting the best advice.

I had High Country look over my grandson's newly purchased used jeep wrangler to make sure it was roadworthy and safe for him to use. It was a cheep purchase and in pretty rough condition. Nick at High Country brought it in and did a wonderful job of evaluating what needed to be done to the suspension to bring it up to speed for safety. They took the time to show me what suspension parts were worn out and needed to be replaced and the cost of each component. I had a full understanding of what needed to be done before the work started. It took a couple of days to get everything done and I was very pleased with the professional work that they completed. As far as I'm concerned these are the go to guys if you need repairs or upgrades to your off road four wheel drive vehicles. Thanks Nick... you guys are the best!!!

I had airbags put on my Raptor as the rooftop tent setup I put on the bag had it sagging pretty good, John was really good about recommending the setup I needed and staying in the budget! I need a level kit put on when I put bigger tires on the rig and I will absolutely be going through John at High Country to get it done! Very good experience every time I have been there. Pleasure working with John and the team at HCP! They got my 25 Gladiator dialed in with a 3.5” Metalcloak lift, Metalcloak Rocksport Black adjustable shocks, Metalcloak HD Steering kit, Spicer Advantek 5.13 gears, Method 703s, and Falken Wildpeak RT01 38” tires. Since the differential gear break-in, I’ve taken the Gladiator all over the front range, and most recently completed ~3k mile roadtrip. John and his team were extremely informative and transparent. I wouldn’t hesitate to take my Jeep back to them for future work.

Second Review: John and his crew did a second round of upgrades on my Jeep and I couldn’t be happier. Knowledgeable, trustworthy, honest with advice; tireless with answering my questions and helping me make the right choices. Highly recommend! First Review: I had so many questions and wanted to make sure I was spending my money right the first time. John was patient and knowledgeable and helped me avoid some mistakes. CJ was also super helpful during and after my steering install and they got the job done faster than expected. I will be going back, no doubt.

Short version: They are AMAZING! Long version (if you're planning on spending your hard-earned money you owe it to yourself to read it): I'm getting ready to retire and go overlanding full-time. I needed a shop I could trust to do the build on my 3 month old 2025 Power Wagon. I used reviews like this to find this shop. I had extensive work done on the suspension, drive train, steering, security, and protection aspects of my vehicle. They even extended and routed my breather tubes to prevent water infiltration during a water crossing. Added a snorkel and did custom welding in some areas to include gusseting my front axle and beefing up my lower front shock mounts. They also added a smart cap topper, installed a deck'd drawer system and a roof rack on the cab. Highlight of the build is the rear bumper with dual swing-outs for a spare tire and extra fuel cans, not an easy thing to execute well. This is not a list of all the work they did but everything they did was clean and well executed. John, my service representative was extremely helpful and patient with me over months of me agonizing over details. He had extremely helpful suggestions when I was lacking in knowledge or experience in certain aspects of the build. I'm a very detail oriented person and he let me explain how I'd like things done then politely would explain that's actually in fact how they usually do it, or he'd make notes on the work order laying out how I'd like something done if it was something a little "extra" like bolting my topper to the bed instead of using the industry standard clamps. A shop that doesn't cut corners and gets things right is the best way to explain it. My build cost me almost as much as my new truck. My work order was 4 pages long and they had my truck almost a month due to the amount of work I was having done. Prices were on par for the quality level of work and worth every penny. I'm not wealthy, just a blue collar guy that worked a lot of overtime to finance my retirement dreams and I don't regret spending the money one bit! You can deal with this shop with confidence.

Thank You High Country Performance 4x4. For the FIRST time since driving my new 2020 Jeep Rubicon away from the dealership in April 2020 with 8 miles on it, my Rubicon drives like it should. After 3 failed attempts by my local Jeep dealership to eliminate the “Death Wobble” it only took one visit to High Country Performance 4x4 and my Jeep is fixed. I need a bigger vocabulary to express how happy I am with how good I now feel about driving my Jeep. I can go over a bridge, pot holes or uneven asphalt without a concern that my front end is about to jerk my steering wheel left and right. John Wiskamp checked my Jeep in at 08:05. John wrote up my concerns so the technicians were clear on what I did not like about the way my Jeep drove. The Service Manger, Shaddie, called me to let me know my jeep was ready. His technician found a little “flex” in my original Jeep Track Bar and installed a new Adjustable Tera JL Track Bar along with a Falcon Fast Adjustable Steering Stabilizer. I dropped off my Jeep at 08:05 and Marcus accepted my payment at 13:08. Marcus went with me to my Jeep and showed me the three adjustments available on my Falcon adjustable steering stabilizer. My recent visit to High Country Performance was extroardinary. My salesman John Wiskamp was extroardinarily helpful and very well informed. My vehicle is a 2025 Dodge Durango all wheel drive, and these guys normally lift things. In my case, they helped me put lowering springs on it. The end result surpassed all of my expectations! I’ve been taking my 2021 Jeep Gladiator to High Country for over a year and they always hook me up! After a rough trip to Moab in fall 2024, I took my Jeep in needing a windshield, alignment, steering stabilizer, and overall suspension inspection. They got me in right away with reasonably priced parts and labor. It was a quick turnaround and I was back on the road as fresh as ever! A few weeks ago, I needed a driveshaft and it was diagnosed, parts delivered, and fixed in less than a week! Not only are they so knowledgeable, they are also kind, humble, and truly love what they do! I’ve been back multiple times with silly needs with my jeep and they are happy to help! Needed shocks replaced and CJ guided me to the Fox 2.5 series. WOW what a ride!!! Handle is so much better with great stability. Shop turned it around in just a few hours. Brought my old CJ in to have the knuckles cut and turned after swapping in some junkyard axles. After calling many shops in the area, High Country Performance 4x4 was the only shop that was willing to do the work. The work was completed in a timely manner and the Jeeps road manners were significantly improved. I would highly recommend reaching out to this shop if you are looking to have some work done on your rig.

My first initial experience was with CJ. I had checked at a few other 4x4 shops, but CJ made me feel right at home. I didn’t feel talked down to like I do at other 4x4 shops, CJ made the whole experience amazing. I ordered a ADD bumper with winch & lights from CJ. He also assisted me with getting new lifted springs for my 2021 Ram TRX. I had them install the springs. I have been helped from a few other guys just picking up and buying other random things from HCP, and everyone is awesome and friendly. I can’t thank everyone that helped me make my truck into what it is now. Up new wheels and bigger tires. Definitely using HCP for these.

My brother-in-law recommended this shop, and after seeing the quality of work they did on his Gladiator, I knew it was worth the hour drive from Fort Lupton to have them work on my Jeep. John Wiskamp guided me through the entire process, answering all my questions and helping me stay within my budget. They are a knowledgeable and professional team, and I will definitely use them again for any future modifications to my Jeep.

Decided to use this shop, even though it was almost a 3 hour drive, because sometimes you just need people who care about what they do to help get stuff done for you. I don’t have a tricked out Jeep or some awesome 36 inch wheeled rock crawling behemoth, but they did a great job trimming my wheel wells for a mudflap relocation kit on a late model sprinter and installing larger KO3s and some much better looking Method 703s .John Wiscamp got me sorted on what was possible, and the team got me in and out on a Friday. ??

Matt S. and the guys recently repaired a bad ring and pinion gear on my old Toyota 4runner. They were quick to diagnose and provided a reasonable quote. Provided pictures of the bad part and got it repaired in a very timely manner with the final invoice being exactly what was quoted. Needless to say...it's quite now! Thanks again Matt S. & HCP4x4!

Just had my 03 LX470 worked on there. Had a new steering rack, king shocks all around, and new torsion bars and springs installed. Everything was completed meticulously with paint markers on every bolt touched and a requirement to come back in 500 miles to double check everything. Very impressed with the work. CJ was my sales rep and he was super communicative and flexible when I had part delays that pushed out my build. Whenever I’m not feeling up to doing the work myself I will be taking it to High country performance for sure.

On my way from New York to Moab, my front axle gave out. Since it was a long travel setup, finding a replacement wasn’t exactly easy. I ended up driving nearly 900 miles from Iowa to Colorado, hoping I’d have better luck there. I called over 10 shops in Denver, either booked out or no availability, until I got in touch with High Country Performance 4x4 and I spoke with Nick, explained the whole situation, and even though they were fully booked, he didn’t hesitate. They told me to bring it in. Dropped off the truck, and by the next day the truck was done and ready to go. They went above and beyond. Sourced the parts, overnighted them, and had everything installed in a breeze. Huge shoutout to Nick, CJ, and the entire crew at High Country Performance 4x4. I seriously can’t thank you enough. You guys saved this trip. If you’re ever in Colorado and need work done, this is the spot. High Country Performance 4x4 is still the best place to take your rig. They found my issues and resolved them as well as finding a small leak in one axle seal which they took upon themselves to replace both and warranty it for me. Marcus and the team are trustworthy, honest and dependable. They even took the time to add some welds and paint to the new bolt on brackets for my shocks. If you want the best this is the place. Ask for Marcus.

These guys have been taking good care of my Jeep TJ for years. We got a new 2024 Land Cruiser this summer and HCP 4x4 did an awesome job on the build for us. Many of the mods were groundbreaking and/or custom because this is a completely new vehicle on the market. CJ is always a pleasure to work with. He knows his stuff and Travis did a great job out in the shop. We are very happy with the build, and we thank you guys.

Did the Carli Back Country level kit and 37” Mickey Thompson’s on 20” Method 605 NV wheels. High country was amazing. Just look at their work. Also added the Rigid bumper lights. Ryan and CJ were knowledgeable, and helpful. I would highly recommend this shop.
