Best customer service I've ever experienced with car repair shop. Will use this great small business for future service needs!

Z Auto is a wonderful shop full of empathetic, straightforward people. Both experiences I’ve had have been wonderful. You’re warmly greeted when you enter, all of your service questions and remarks are listened to and answered, and the mechanics are very thorough in their diagnostics and repairs. Both times I’ve had my car repaired it definitely ran much better afterwards and I’m confident in the service. They give you the full range of options - I have an old car and it could use a lot more service but they listed the critical stuff as crucial and the others as optional, so for me I’m not spending money on things that sometimes just comes with an old car. I believe you really get what you pay for, and I trust that z auto ensures that my car will keep driving for another hundred thousand miles if I’m lucky enough. Small touches like free uber rides, a vacuumed front, and a little water bottle are all noticed and appreciated. Thanks for the service.

They took so much stress off the whole process with access to their curiosity vehicle. I went in with a very hefty repair and left with my car driving like new. Kevin takes such good care of you here, I’d highly recommend going to this independent shop instead of the dealership. They are very thorough and detailed with your service, respectful and not condescending. They also offer rides to and from the shop. Pretty reasonable pricing as well. I’ll be back!

Christian was a huge help!!! As I was on my way to Jiffy Lube to have them unscrew a seized-up screw on my MAF Sensor, I stopped at Z's because the did my last oil change. Rather than scheduling an appt for me, or charging me for a full hour to undo 1 screw, Christian took 10 min from the reception desk and grabbed some smaller pliers, and was able to get the rusted screw off. Im currently looking for work, and couldnt afford to buy the after-market MAF Sensor already, so him saving me from a $90/hr repair that took him a few minutes, speaks to the kind of service and professionalism they have at Z's. They are family owned, and treat their customers like extended members of their Englewood family. Thanks Christian and Z Auto Service, for getting me back on the road so I can finish my job interviews and have an income again. I took my car in very last minute and was met with the greatest customer service ever!! They helped me so much and did a test drive for me to figure out the problem. They were more than willing to help me out and I greatly appreciated that!! Definitely recommend this shop to anyone in the area!!

I brought my car here because I've been taking it to the same corporate chain for years, and I didn't like the way they treated me or my car the last time I was there. I was nervous because it's a new place, but I was pleasantly surprised! They did everything in their power to get the price as low as possible, did the work within the timeframe I needed, and even cleaned my dirty floor mats. But the best part is it feels like I'm driving a brand new car! I've never left the place I used to go and had such a smooth ride home. Kevin took great care of me throughout the process. I had a lot of questions and some were probably stupid, but he was a professional and if he thought so, it didn't show. This is where I'll be taking my car from now on, and I wish I had found them sooner!

Both times I’ve been to Z auto they’ve taken care of me very well! They make me feel heard, provide me with timely and detailed updates on each car part, and don’t push fixes that aren’t immediately necessary! I’ve referred several friends to them and they continue to have good experiences with them as well. The floor vacuuming, water and candy cane was of course a great touch as well! Much appreciated.

What a find - this is a little ma-an-paw shop with a BIG presence! Wonderful establishment just off the beaten path that conducts full vehicle services - Alignment, Maintenance, and Repairs - all in one stop shop! Don’t pass by, stop in and experience the welcoming front office and friendly staff set up professionally and managed very well. The turn-around time was quick and the technicians are very thorough with their inspections and helping clearly see what’s necessary without the added pressures of upsells. These guys really care about what your concerns are, your car health and safety. They hunt down what’s actually wrong and don’t give additional fluff like major dealerships do. The quality of work.. well let’s just say it’s fixed right now, and I didn’t have to go back at all… something you rarely find with mechanic shops these days. Fixed right the first time, and a big smile on my face. I am very happy to get my Lexus back in the road, and even happier to leave this little shop a total 5 star review. Stop in! Would highly recommend. Like all mechanics they’ve got to try and do work you don’t need, but they use a very ‘soft’ sell, inspecting your vehicle and letting you know what could be done. No scare tactics. Very honest, professional and excellent people!

Kevin is the best- very professional and efficient shop. Reasonable prices, great online system to view your inspection and estimate. Super nice guys too! Definitely stop in if you're in the area, and if you're not? It's worth the drive.

HONEST community shop!! Kevin and Christian in the front are an example of A++ customer service. I had the opportunity to witness them working with both customers and vendors with the utmost patience, knowledge and thoroughness. Tyler paid close attention to detail during my inspection and listed upcoming services in order of priority. The office was extremely clean and comfortable with fresh coffee and even treats for their four-legged customers :). I’ll be supporting this local, family owned shop with all my vehicles moving forward!!

Took a truck here when I was in town from COS looking at a lifted Tundra. They were extremely personable and got me in same day to inspect the vehicle. Christian my tech was walking me out to the vehicle and I immediately asked him if it was lifted too high because I thought it may be a little much for me. He honestly told me about the added expenses that I didn't know would be likely with a lifted truck as I had never looked at one or owned one. I told him right there I was so thankful he was hones and I nixed the inspection and the purchase. He saved me money for an inspection I would not have needed and tons of expenses I would have been very upset about had I bought that truck. I highly recommend this place and it will be my go to mechanic if I ever try to buy another vehicle in Denver.

Predatory. An old woman picking up her Honda Civic replied, "I don't plan on being around that long" when they told her to bring it in for her yearly maintenance next Halloween. They charged her $675 for an oil change, topping fluids, and checking tire pressure. ? Unfortunately this is the 2nd time I've found myself sitting in their waiting room. My wife took her Audi in after receiving a coupon in the mail, and they serviced the vehicle ~including replacing the cabin air filter~ and all seemed fine. Later, then- my wife wants to take the car for a road trip and decide to take it back here for oil change and check up... we receive back suggested work, among other things, is the replacement of the cabin air filter. This is when she brings it to my attention - she brings me the newest report along with the receipt of her paying to have it done last time, and asks me to go speak with them because she feels they are targeting her as a woman. So the last time I sat in here, I spoke to Christian and Kevin, and called them out on their bullshit. They insisted it was an honest mistake :they failed to report to Carfax the work they had done OR notate it themselves, but did find where they charged us for it prior: So I sat in the waiting room while they finished the service on the car. I wanted to see them going about their business- I'm petty, and I got time like that. They worked very quickly and gave me their best customer service effort. Greatly appreciated given the circumstances. Now, we are coming to the latest interaction. The heat went out in my wife's car, and we discussed we would give them another chance and take the car in together. We told them we only wanted diagnostics if they could do it by end of day (on Halloween) as we understood it might not be possible - we would have waited but they assured us they could. So they ended up with the car all weekend and it wasn't even together on Monday. They quoted us an outrageous amount, expecting to be doing the work - even though we clearly only wanted their diagnostics- AND told us the cabin air filter needed replaced... I took their estimate to two other shops; the first pointed at inflated pricing for parts and gave me a quote for roughly half the price. The 2nd shop agreed and bid under that. Hilariously, when reconvening with my wife on the matter, she ran all of the estimates and correspondence we'd exchanged with them into Gemini and it said: RUN DON'T WALK When pressed directly with this information, I got the following explanations: 1) They normally charge double the cost of parts to cover their BETTER THAN ANYONE warranty. along with 2) The ol steak at the market vs steak at Chili's vs steak at Ruth Chris analogy. I think if you have to budget two steaks in order to ensure a good one gets on the table - we're probably not even at Chili's. So as they put my wife's car together I got to hear this lovely exchange with the old woman. Also the 2 hours Christian told me it'd take to put it back together became roughly 30min once they realized I was going to sit there the whole time. Christian is a pretty good charlatan, never lost his composure in being confronted - the owner was in and out - and I got a stock apology from his wife before I left. I notice every bad review also gets an apology comment ?

They did a pre-purchase inspection for us on a private sale vehicle. They communicated extremely well, and the report was also very thorough. They walked me through the highlights of the report, and also gave a general impression of the quality of the car. Buying a used car can be stressful, but they helped us feel very comfortable.

I got a mailer for this place so I thought I’d try it out when I needed an oil change and I’m so glad I did!! It’s tucked away at the end of a street so I hadn’t seen it before even though I live around the corner. They offer a complimentary uber within 10 miles if you need a ride somewhere after dropping your car off which is awesome. They did a full vehicle inspection on top of the oil change and then sent me a link listing everything they found with pictures and recommendations. They also printed out the pricing for everything they recommended but didn’t try to hard sell me. It’s so refreshing to find a real family owned mechanic so close to home that I can trust! When I got back to my truck I was happily surprised to see they had washed it, cleaned up the interior and left me a bottle of water with a coupon on it! I can promise you I’ll be coming back for the recommended services because you’ve won yourself a lifelong customer!

Z Auto did a very thorough pre-purchase inspection on a used vehicle for us. Christian not only sent the report to me as soon as the inspection was completed, but also called to explain each item in detail. Excellent service, attention to detail, and professionalism. Was looking for a reliable new shop to start taking my Tacoma to and found this gem! I made an appointment for an oil change and they did a free inspection as well! Everyone I encountered was friendly, professional and transparent. I can see why they are one of the top rated shops around town! I will be taking my truck here from now on. :)

I had an excellent experience with Kevin at Z’s Auto Shop! He explained everything clearly and with such a positive attitude, which really made me feel at ease. The whole team was patient and understanding, and they even provided me with an Uber ride home and back to the shop once my car was ready. I really appreciate that they were willing to work with my budget and never pressured me into anything I couldn’t afford. Finding an honest and professional auto shop can be hard, but Kevin and the team at Z’s went above and beyond. Even their warranty was impressive. Highly recommend!

I needed new tie rods and I was overdue for some maintenance. I brought my car in because it was close enough to walk to from my house and I lucked out. Excellent service and wonderful staff. Kevin at the front desk explained each service they recommended and answered all my questions. They even helped diagnose some sensor issues that were the result of a previous mechanic's work. I would definitely recommend.

I had such a great experience getting my 2014 Mazda CX-5 repaired here. They quickly diagnosed a carbon build-up and a few other replacements that were needed and had everything finished in just one day. The entire team was incredibly thorough and made sure I understood exactly what was going on with my car before and after the work was done. What stood out most was how informative and respectful they were — as a young woman in my 20s, I really appreciated how smooth, clear, and equal they made the whole experience. They even followed up with calls to check in on how the car is running. I highly recommend them for their professionalism, efficiency, and genuine care for their customers!

I always have a great experience with z auto! Kevin explained everything that was getting done thoroughly and I always appreciate the complimentary shuttle service they provide. My car is driving like a champ now! So smooth, almost like I got it brand new back. (I’ve had it for about 5 years now) Volkswagen Jetta 2016! Although the prices are a bit high, I trust them to get the work done and it is wellllll worth the price. They also have a great credit card! Thanks for your help Kevin!

From the very beginning, they’ve been upfront and offered fair pricing. I’ve had several issues with my older car, and they always work around my schedule while completing the repairs quickly. They also provide a detailed list of issues with pictures and take the time to walk me through everything, which gives me a lot of confidence in their work. The customer service is excellent too—everyone in the office greets me warmly every time

This is the second time I’ve been in, and I’ve had two different vehicles serviced here. Christian and Kevin were fantastic to deal with at the front desk. Both communicated and explained the repairs to me, and they were able to squeeze the my truck in asap. I love how they do a full inspection with photos to explain their concerns and repair plan. Taylor worked on the truck and got everything completed on time for me. Can’t recommend Z Auto enough. Will continue doing business here.

Z Auto Service has been my car maintenance or anything vehicle related since 2020. I found them on Google and ever since meeting them I had never been disappointed in the service but was always satisfied. From the moment you enter the property you're welcomed, knowledgeable staff, the unseen mechanics at the back does a wonderful job and if you want you can request them to come and explain if you need clarity. I have purchased two vehicles and Z auto sales helped me with my decision when I did the pre inspection tests. They guided me and I was impressed. This company is transparent, honest, get the job done and keeps your vehicle well maintained.
