This place is definitely ripping people off, one day I brought in a whole truck of cans and plastic bottles they gave me close to 100 then s few months later I brought about the same amount and they only gave us 42 make that make sense this is the worst can place you can go to and are very rude and unprofessional
I used to really like this place until i started watching closer and realized the amounts are very different and well i know they are cheating people on the weights..well this time i weighed all my stuff and will take it in this next week and then ill report back with exact weights i have and let everyone know what they came up with. But for now will just say its a educated guess with some small amounts of evidence..til next week.
DISGUSTINGLY RUDE to my disabled brother. I have left a message on the companys voicemail asking that manger/owner call me regarding his employee telling me my brother should have deaf written on his forehead, so people know. Not sure that message will make it to who it needs to. Im interested to see if this company even cares. she seemed very emboldened to say it even when I told her how horrible that was. She wanted to refuse to give me his money after I called her out on it.
Showed up to recycle two bags of cans at 443 pm on a Saturday. Their sign and website says they're open Monday through Saturday until 5pm. One guy came over to me and said they were closed and refused to take the two bags of cans. Three people (workers?) left the site before 4:50 pm while the rest of the crew continued to work, sorting things. I will not be bringing my recycling here again.
I would highly recommend getting your recycling done here. Is a family owned business and all the staff are helpful. Muhammad runs a great crew.. I've never had a problem getting questions answered. Today I brought in different types of metal and the gentleman helping me was very informative and even helped me with telling me which cans to put the odd metals in.
A place where you feel welcome and you get take care of and you have to no that they like to go home to the place is clean and I'm pretty sure the people that are crying about them close 15 mins early didn't do it
Went 10 minutes to 5 and they already closed & my boyfriend asked if they would take two bags and they said no they was already closed!!! If your going to post your closing time at 5 then that’s when you should close not 10 minutes to 5!! 😡
The first time we went to this location bc Modesto Recycle ♻️ told me their machine has been broken for 4 months. He also said if I wanted I could just drop off the cans & he can give me some cash for it. It was a pass! I had to ick up merch as Best Buy in Riverbank & this recycle ♻️ center was near by so went went there. They were nice & the parking was much better than Modesto. They were all wearing mask & practicing safety during this deadly pandemic. I would definitely go back.
The service here is honestly whatever. Some employees are nice, some are rude. Too bad this is the only recycling place in riverbank. The mini portable/mobile recycling center parked in the parking lot next to ampm was much better. But too bad they left.
Won't go here again because of rude employees.
*edit* also this is the worst paying recycling center I have ever seen. I had an entire truck full of bottles and cans, including a 44 gallon of smashed flat aluminum and was paid $37 dollars. I asked the clerk why it was so little and she said something about the price per pound was down... I said it is a nickel a can deposit return, and was told that I have to inform the attendant to do it per count instead of by weight. The dishonesty and shady dealing here are the normal day to day.
Go ANYWHERE else!!!! They will RIP you off and treat you like it's your fault.
I been going to Riverbank Recycling every since they opened. They have always been very helpful and nice to deal with. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you for the great service keep up the good work.
When taking my husbands contracted recycling. Company chose to argue about what type of copper was coming in and gave us the price of coded copper when we had bare copper ?? And augured with us knowing what type of copper we had ?? Be careful they will rip you off😡😡😡#gogreen
