Came into AutoZone Riverbank because my battery kept dying and the check engine light was on. The staff explained that the radiator fans staying on were due to a coolant temperature sensor and thermostat issue. They helped me get the right parts and saved me from an expensive shop repair. Great customer service and a very helpful team!

I brought in a battery to have charged after it sat for 2 weeks. On my return, the salesman said it was bad and needed replacement. I said I would think about it as he quoted $244. I took the battery for a future core, but decided to try it out and started the car no problem. I look forward to getting it load tested soon and follow up this review.
I was beyond impressed with both Garrett and Sebastian today. In addition, Garrett went above and beyond to help me install it and test it out. He also was very knowledgeable and demonstrated exceptional customer service. Really kind and helpful gentlemen. Saved the day! Israel garcia, i have to say the amount of detail and attention he attended me with was out of this world i have never ben more impressed with someone’s customer service in my life, he deserves it all…. He made me feel like i was a family member he even made me laugh amazing guy truly truly restored my belief in humanity ask for israel at auto zone he will not let you down he will have you walking out of autozone with a smile israel i thank you for your outstanding customer service.
I had some questions about a break pad replacement I was doing on a Honda Accord, the staff was very helpful. They also resolved a problem I had with parts that were not correct from the part supplier or manufacturer. I have always gotten great support from AutoZone locations. But the riverbank location really was fantastic.
Sad to say that a member of this auto part store was extremely rude and had an attitude of not wanting to help. It was obvious she is confused in life and unfortunately she brings this attitude to work where she is supposed to help and advise the customers; I own a pick up truck and I went to buy an air filter when I went to ask for help she was not happy and ask me for f the wanted the filter with an offer packet, I didn’t know what that mean so I asked her what was the offer packet and her answer was with a smart attitude “ I don’t know I don’t own a truck” I pause for a quick minute then I asked her so if I call the store and ask you anything about a truck you won’t be able to help me because you don’t own a truck? Then her answer remained the same, then I said looks like you have an attitude and need to fix it and walked out.
Auto Zone used to train their employees to be helpful and courteous sadly this is the 2nd time this happened to me at this Riverbank location and it truly is a shame, there is a kid Jonathan who is very helpful and nice though too bad he doesn’t train this girl who clearly needs it or she needs to not work with the public. To be exact this happened on 6/15/24 around 9-10 am

Went to find a cabin filter. I was greeted immediately when we walked in and asked if we needed help. After giving the info to the female cashier she told us that the part was at another store nearby so she called the Pelandale store and they will hold it for us! So helpful and saved us a bunch of time! Thank you for the service and smiles!
I had 24 years in retail management before retiring on to something else, so I have to say that it always makes me feel good when I walk into a store that runs like a well-oiled machine and checks all the boxes for how a business should be run.
I always like coming to this AutoZone because it's only a 3-4 minute walk from the house.
They generally have what I need, their prices are reasonable for the most part, and their customer service is always an A+.
Any time I come into a clean store, well dressed shelves, a good selection of parts, and friendly people, I have to give them a round of applause.

Usually pretty empty and has an open parking lot. Very helpful staff, always welcoming and willing to assist! In case you need weed, they have that next door too! Don't smoke and drive!
Steve Mathews help us right away. He was destined to find a very small nut for my battery. He found it fast, and I was very pleased with his service and attitude.
The manager is very intimidating to not bring items back. after he hasn't completely explained something until after purchasing item very pushy .go to oakdale for your needs if you dont want to be taken advantage by a very persuasive manager. I bought a coolant for my ac and he stepped outside and says oh I'll tell you why I dont like these things because i overfilled it . he gauged it then took all the extra ac fluid out and said to me hey i can't do anything now because you used some of it already. What I dont understand is why he couldn't mention that before I bought for 40 $ he was laughing as I was walking out.because the guy works at autozone and is aware of what's the problem with the ac but is being very vague .because he doesn't want to take a loss . Oakdale is willing to help me out .I just dont appreciate being treated as a wallet .I have things I want to fix not just buy fluid so he can come out and tell me hey sorry I gotta let this extra out have a good day . And no refund thanks . He's very smart with profits but customer service should be top priority even to a younger guy like myself. Thanks hopefully next time he acts as if he was in my shoes because we all work for our money 👍
Jonathan was AWESOME!!!! Jonathan tested my battery before he even thought about selling me a new one. He even installed it for me at no extra charge. He is a GREAT asset to Auto Zone, as a matter of fact everyone at the Riverbank location is always so friendly and willing to help.
The manager gave me a few tips on my AC for my Honda Civic and actually loan me his hose and gage to fill up with coolant. That was so cool. I'm a new fan now and I will shopping there now for more parts. Prices are not bad. 👍
Okay, will price match, but can give you in correct info. Wanted a locking gas cap. One they had required you, lock it each time you unlocked it. Wanted one that locked when you put it on. Clerk said they don't make those anymore. Gave some flimsy excuse. Went to O'Reilly Auto and they had the one I wanted.
