The Muffler Store does fantastic work and the husband and wife team care about their customers. I had a simple exhaust put into a little convertible and they went the extra mile, setting it up and tweaking it into perfection. Their attention to detail is amazing and their customer service is excellent. I strongly recommend using them for any of your needs!

This is my second truck that has got its exhaust here. I wish I would have had the patience to wait. I had shop in Michigan install a dual exhaust, on my 2022 F350, and was completely disappointed. Luckily, Jim and his guys were able to fit me in as soon as I got to California and make a custom exhaust the way I wanted it. Well worth the money and 2500 mile drive to do it. ?

This place was awesome. They diagnosed the problem for free and really helped me out. The owner said he likes to help out young people because he knows they need the help sometimes. Been coming here for 5 years always could do what I needed, just recently they have new workers and someone new running the place, said they could do my exhaust cut it all off and then said I had to wait till tomorrow, tomorrow came waited all day and then was told they couldn’t do it still. Exhaust tip isn’t even circle, and the welds look like there from a 5 year old, really disappointed in this place now

I went here to have rebar cage installed over my catalytic converter. They got me in quickly and took care of my truck. I felt the price was very fair. When I left the shop, I noticed my exhaust was louder (like there was a hole) and returned within 10 minutes. They were very professional and quickly made room on a lift to investigate. Turns out there was some vibrations from the rebar causing the noise which they quickly resolved. Sometimes mistakes happen, I don't get mad about it. How I judge someone is how they handle it when pointed out and this team here handled it like professionals. I was happy with my experience and recommend them to anyone need custom rebar cages to protect their catalytic converters.

I long story short, I had a bit of a special request that the shop doesn't usually do, and that was made clear before I brought my truck in. The owner and I discussed what I needed done, and I lefty truck for a couple hours in the morning. To my surprise, the technicians went above and beyond the scope of work and took extra care and exceeded my expectations. I am very happy with the work that was done, in a very short time. I absolutely will return for future needs.

Unfortunately there not the same. Been a regular customer there for years. Recently went to have a custom exhaust made for my vehicle Brought my own muffler and resonator Well after the 3rd time going back thy kind of got it. Still not worth what I paid Save your money and get it done right. Real bad looking welds exhaust hits everything Cat is pushed against the floor Exhaust drags on the rear axle It's just terrible

One of the best exhaust shops! Asked for a straight pipe with a true dual exhaust for my 2022 Chevy Silverado and they did an excellent job. Only took a few hours and the prices aren't bad at all. Second vehicle I've taken to them and walked away happy every time.

If you're just the average person trying to fix a leak, this is a good place. If you're someone who's passionate about cars, I would try a different shop. Jim sounded offended when i called and asked if he could put on a catback exhaust i bought. In an angry tone, he asked me, "what brand?" As if that mattered and then sounded hesitant to do it. It felt like an Autozone type interaction.. It was actually just an upgrade from the dealership my car is from, I was just looking for someone from a local owned shop to put it on. My guess is because he doesn't like doing anything other than his mediocre "custom" work. I say this because he had no issue talking up and making a god awful looking AND sounding set up for my Volkswagen a handful of months ago.

So grateful for Keith and the guys at the Muffler Store. We are from out of town and were on our way out of town and had issues with our battery. A kind woman gave us a jump and recommended this shop and they fit us right in. Keith was so kind to my grandma and visited with her while we waited for the battery. Highly recommend this shop!

We have been bringing our cars here for a few years now, for non muffler related work. Jim and his staff have exceeded our expectations each and every time. They are an HONEST shop that stands by their work. Definitely a one in a million. We highly recommend them to all of our friends and family.

On a recent trip out of town, the exhaust on my old truck started getting louder and louder. I was a mechanic once upon a time so I took a look. Two out of three of the studs between the catalytic converter and muffler were broken and the gasket was leaking. No matter how hard I tried, I could not get the broken studs out. Gave Jim a call and he told me how they could help and provided me with a quote. He said I could bring it down that day or the next. I brought it down the next morning and they looked at it while I waited. Keith and Sean came up with another repair idea that I liked and in less than an hour, it was all fixed. I was very pleased and Jim did the job for his original quote. I was very pleased and would recommend this repair shop. The staff were friendly and kept me informed of their progress.

This shop is open on Saturdays! That's a huge Plus for me... The employee's take tremendous pride in their work.... The prices are very fair. I Would give this shop 10 Stars if I could.... Everyone here is very Honest and Friendly! As a Consumer, I appreciate these guys..... Appreciated them so much that I bought them a few Pizzas for Lunch from one of Vacaville's best family owned Italian restaurants...

This was my first time at “The Muffler Store” to have work done on my 2013 Dodge Ram 1500–after being referred to by Vacaville Dodge—and this place is amazing! I had my stock exhaust replaced with a Carven Exhaust Progressive Series Direct Replacement Muffler with 5” Ceramic Black Tips and not only does it present a look of coolness, but the meaty, rumbling sound of the exhaust is intimidating. Jim and his staff are the most helpful and courteous, down to earth, group of dudes who not only treat you with respect, but ensure your needs are done effectively, professionally and expeditiously. I even paid far less than what was quoted which was a “high-five” type of moment. Thanks Jim and Go Giants!!!

These guys are great. They said come in same day I called. Waited about 10 minutes to get my car on the lift. Great welding work and didn't charge much. Super happy about the result. I'm glad I went to them and I recommend them for anyone else.

Probably the only honest repair shop in town. They looked at my car and took them 30 mins to diagnos the problem. I needed a new catalytic converter and Jim immediately got on the phone and started making calls. Turns out after speaking with the dealership my car was under warranty and they would be able to replace the catalytic converter for FREE! I immediately made an appointment with the dealership and Jim absolutely refused to charge me for the technicians time or for his time calling around. Without a doubt I will be returning!

This shop is the best auto repair shop on the planet! They dont just do muffler work, in fact I can take my car there for just about any problem. The owner Jim is the best and hires only the best in the business. Keith Nate and Ken are exceptional at their job and know the answer to any car problem that exists. If they don't they research and get it. Jim s prices are more than fair and this man runs a most honest honorable trustworthy place that I've ever seen. He never overcharges, finds best prices for parts and treats his customers like they are his family whether he knows you or not. Id reccomend this place to anyone knowing they are in excellent hands. The Muffler Store Is truly a hidden treasure until you find them and asset to it's Community! I can't thank them enough for everything they have done for me and my family. I will take my car no where else!

After a few calls to these guys about the route I should I go in my new exhaust I went in today to finally have the work completed. I was initially going to have a new catalytic converter ordered and they convinced me not to and even checked mine and said it was fine. They could have taken the opportunity during these trying times to make a few extra dollars but chose to be honest. I had them do a complete cat-back exhaust with the muffler I supplied (Black Widow Performance), they advised I go up in pipe diameter to help the truck out and ran it all the way back with new tips. Highly highly suggest this family ran business! I showed up at 8 a.m., began working on it around 8:30 and was on my way home by 11. That's fast and good quality work. I've been in several exhaust shops across the country and this is one of my favorites.

My Mercedes and my BMW is in great hands for whatever problems come up for a fraction of the price. I had a catalytic converter done on another car I own 6 months ago and the service and price was right. My car runs great!! I'm bringing my kids car in since they are now car owners. Hard to find honest and good repair service from a local business. Thanks guys.
