Would give 6 stars if I could! Tire exploded on the freeway and they arrived in minutes. Carlos was the driver who came and was really nice and super helpful. Would have had to wait 3 hours on the side of the freeway if they didn't come.

Absolute joke of a towing company. $300 gate fee is extortion. DO NOT USE THIS TOW SERVICE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE.

It is very strange to work in a business where you know people are gonna be agitated about their car being towed and yet not having the slightest bit of humanity. The receptionist is very rude, non helpful and misleading. 3 different people called about a car and all 3 were told 295 an hour and 125 storage, Not 295 an hour for towing and 125 a day like she claimed to have said. Its even more strange to employ a person such as that but its not surprising given the way the owner replies to any negative reviews. But why would anyone at a business like this need to be amicable? They don’t care. They don’t care whose car they’re taking, they don’t care what situation they’re putting people in. This business is a nightmare to deal with and God have mercy on the souls of the wretches who decided to plague the world by opening it.

I came today to the office I said hello , How are you to the lady working at the office she never answered back .I paid Almost $2300 for 2 weeks because I was notified my car is with them after 10 days which was sucks and unfair because they were closed Saturday and Sunday. The guy at the gate is also rude and was telling me why are you mad I said I am mad because I just paid you $2300 .his attitude was unprofessional.

Not the happiest time in my life getting rear-ended on a motorcycle, but at least Beto made it as nice and easy as possible. Quick, efficient and friendly, what more could I ask for!? Thanks Beto!

called to get my vehicle released, the woman on the phone was very ignorant and rude whilst explaining and kept interrupting. I arrive and the woman at the front desk was very unnecessarily rude, I go to ask her if they was anyone else available to help since I see multiple staff behind the desk. Before I can even finish asking, she raises her hand to my face over a simple question. customer service is beyond horrible and incredibly rude, if that’s how you’d like to be treated get your tow services done here!!

My street parked car had potential drive train damage after being rear ended, and the right rear wheel was pushed against a curb . In order to tow another person's car away from the curb, Lima Towing's driver requested me to move my car out of his way, and I politely refused, proposed we wait for my tow truck driver to arrive to move my car, as I don't want to create further damage on the scene. Lima's driver refused to wait, and decide to tow the other car risking further damage to my car. This is absolutely ridiculous, as this is on a side walk, we are not blocking traffic, and my tow truck driver is a few minutes away. I then started recording the other car getting towed in case I'll need proof Lima Towing added further damage to my car. Here's what's crazy, I stopped recording after confirming the other car was removed without damaging my car, but Lima Towing's driver taunted me out of no reason asking me why I stopped recording, and threatened me with "I can take off this uniform and beat you up". There's literally police on the scene 20 yards away. Don't use their service if you don't wanna get ligma

Complete rip off artists! I would NOT recommend this towing service to anyone. The towing and storage fees, pickup, after hours charges, 4% credit card charges are all insane here, see attached towing fees pictures for reference. Be aware they will add on all sorts of additional fees, including fees for picking up the car after 5 pm, additional weekend fees, after hours fees, etc. Their office is in an industrial park, looks shabby and wouldn’t recommend coming here alone or after dark. When I picked up my car here, it was scratched up and the battery was completely dead, despite being brand new. I would give them a negative star rating if it was possible. Call absolutely anyone else to tow your car if you care about your car or your wallet.

Was told 300 for towing 100 for storage turned our $610. Was charged 125 for storage and 155 apparently to the lady because she came to open gate on top of that 4% tax charge. and Woman at office has a nasty entitled attitude. Very ignorant and passive aggressive. Called me a liar, and was just plain rude. Upon getting my car back I also have a dead battery because they were not considerate or had any sense of decency to turn the emergency lights off the car before storing the vehicle. Super ghetto, worse experience ever. In regards to owners response, post the video with sound ti prove it then. Otherwise you are just trying to make yourself look good to anyone who reads the reviews. I stand by what I said, and did nothing that you say I have done. Your a bad business and should be shut down.

Whoever has had their vehicle towed by this company needs to check ALL your PARTS IMMEDIATELY! If you have receipts from auto stores, make sure your part numbers still match what’s on your vehicle. I bought a brand-new starter less than five months ago, and my vehicle was towed not long after. It stayed there for about 4-5 days. About a month ago, my vehicle began to have problems with the starter. I went to the auto store to return the starter since it was still under warranty. The starter I returned WAS NOT THE ONE I BOUGHT. My vehicle had never been out of my possession at any time except while it was at Lima Towing! They took out my brand-new starter and replaced it with some generic, one-size-fits-all piece of junk. A police report has been filed, and I hope you get caught for all the faulty and shady stunts pulled at this yard. You may reply with, “We take these accusations very seriously” and maybe some other nonsense about “integrity,” but it is all lies. Go ahead and keep laughing, thinking what you are doing to people isn’t going to come back to you, because when it’s least expected, while you’re counting your dirty money from stolen parts, it will all come back to bite you where it hurts the most.

Absolutely worst encounter over the phone with the so-called manager, the conversation got heated and instead of trying to de escalate the issue she kept calling me selfish. We were not able to come and sign a release for the car before or after 12-1. Unfortunately, that's her lunchtime, and it was not negotiable to her. She said we could come pay 150 dollars to open the door on Saturday.

Processed my car out quickly and I had no problems with staff, they were professional and personable.

Receptionist at the front desk was very kind and helpful! I didn't have all of the paperwork to release my vehicle but that was on me (need registration and OWNER of vehicle needs to be present) I was really panicked mess but even so, she went above and beyond to let me know what the next steps were for releasing the car to my insurance company (i had no idea but i'm glad she was able to talk me through it!!)

Front desk was very helpful and informative and driver arrived very fast the day of the crash. Great service.

Terrible experience. When you tow the car, you should record driver’s id and ask who has that id to release the car instead of asking stupid registration card.

I needed some help getting some pictures of my car after it has been damaged and John Waller who had towed my car in was nice enough to provide me with perfect pictures. Not to mention he arrived on the scene of the crash extremely fast. I’m extremely grateful for his work and would recommended John and Lima Towing to anyone who needs help on the road.

I came here to sign a release to my insurance for my totaled car and to remove personal items from it. Service here was very professional and friendly. Thank you!

A family member of mine was involved in a fatal crash and I needed to remove personal items from the twisted remains of the car being held in their yard. They were very sensitive to our needs and helpful. Good folks helping the community in stressful circumstances.

Excellent service with reasonable price, very friendly and helpful (tried to save us repair service by checking basic things before towing our car to our mechanic). We gave 4 stars because it opens only till 6 pm.

They made it pretty easy for me to take my car out. From one day to the next, it was about 460 dollars. Every day it stays is $100 extra, as well as a $120 fee If you wanna take it out on a weekend, it's considered OT. The guy was a little apprehensive but was generically nice. At least the guy didn't give me any attitude.

My car was been towed after an accident. I was trying to contact and asking to release my car to insurance company by email with all my information and consent, since I leave far away and was not able to go to their place. They're trying to hold my car without an explanation and hang up the call for less a minute of talk!!!! This is a scam towing company or totally unprofessional. Seems like they are trying the car as long as they can!!! Highly recommend to avoid any relate business with this towing company.

My spouse was on an accident and by the time i reached the spot police had Lima towing move my vehicle on to their truck and didnt let me get closer to the vehicle. I asked them to recover few items from the car including my registration which was in the glove box (i kept registration cards from every year(2017-2021) in car's my glove box). Police handed over my registration card at the scene but at that moment i didnt notice that it was an old one from 2018. Next day (Friday) i went to lima towing to release my car to my insurance so they can evaluate the damages. I ran into the RUDE LADY (mentioned by other comments) who pointed out my registration is from 2018 and didnt let me release my car. I told her my current registration (2021) is in the glove box but she showed me the 2019 registration they already picked from the glove box (im not sure who gave them permission to open my glove box but they had already gone through my personal property). I asked her to check the glove box again and take me with her inside (i showed my LICENSE and insurance already for my ID proof) so i can find it for her. She RUDELY walked away while i was speaking and spoke to someone inside. That person came back with another registration from my car but this time its from 2020. At this point i was pretty sure these lowlifes want to SCAM for more money by holding me out. When I was there, it was within 24 hours after my car was picked up and if i ordered a release within 24 hours they can only charge for one day (per california towing rules) even if the car was not picked up over the weekend or non-business hours. This is why they scammed, all for few extra days of towing charges. Eventually, i did release my car after the weekend by showing vehicle registration record from DMV. Guess where my 2021 registration card was ? Yes, in the glove box.

This place is a joke! I got into a car accident on March 11th, 2021. My car was never impounded by the chp. Lima towing told ne that chp had impounded my vehicle for 30 days. I called chp and their records show my car was never set for impound. Lima towing kept my car and got rid of it before the 30 days. If anyone else is going through the same experience or has please contact chp. They're wanting to talk to the people. Lima towing is a fraudulent place, untrustworthy. Please contact chp if you have gone through the same issue....

I was in an accident on 10/20/2020 and Santa Clara Police had my car towed to Lima Towing. I have automobile insurance that is handling the claim/fees. Lima Towing put a lien on my car with the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). I never once received a call asking if I wanted to take care of fees to avoid any of this! I called today, 11/09/2020 to ask why a lien was put on my car and why wasn't I called to see if I'd take care of it, which I totally would. Rochelle stated they automatically put liens on all vehicles that are at the yard more than 72 hours. I asked her for a receipt that charges were taken care of by my insurance company. Rochelle refused to provide me with a receipt so I can provide it to DMV but told me to go back to my insurance company. Very unprofessional! I'd never recommend Lima Towing.

Horrible customer service. Anytime you call in they cut you off mid sentence super unprofessional. They threaten to send you to collections just to get you to pay the same day. If you have a complaint about this company please contact the federal trade commission and the BBB. :)

The women at the front were so kind and helpful, didn't overcharge us what so ever and were so pleasant and professional. Having a car towed is never got news but it makes things better when you deal with nice, helpful people.

Overpriced, horrible customer service. We paid $112 extra because staff told us they would let us in on a Saturday... And then they made us wait 1.5 HOURS for them to show up. Our car had been towed a couple of days ago. Hidden fees as well.
