Went for smog check. They said it would not pass because check engine light was on. When I went back to pick it up there was no engine light on. Went to another shop and it passed with no issues. I don't like giving a bad review. So let's just say they couldn't help me.

My friend was borrowing my car when it suddenly broke down at the shop’s driveway. I was out of state when it happened and Dave allowed me to leave my car there until I returned. I had never been to Phelan, but they gave me a great impression of the town.

I had a tire blowout on the 138 at 4 I’m the afternoon! I was able to get my car tow to this shop. They ordered some new tires for me and fixed my car 1st thing the next morning. Great and fast service, polite and very understanding of my situation. I recommend this place to anyone who needs reliable and fast service! Great prices too.

If I could give this place a zero rating, I would! I’m beyond mad. I got my brakes done in December 2023. I have a Subaru Impreza. They continued to argue with me that they needed to do a diagnostic and they needed to check my transmission because they thought the shaking when I brake is my transmission. I continued to argue that my transmission is fine because it is a relatively brand new car. 450 dollars later, my brakes continued to squeak and my car still would shake when I would brake. I called them and they stated that some brakes just are more squeaky. Fast forward to February of 2024. My brakes still would rapidly shake. I took it to Subaru in May of 2024 and Subaru stated that these brakes and rotors are not new and there was no possible way I could have warped my brakes in less than only a few months. They think that they either gave me used brakes or just rotated my rears to my fronts and fronts to rears. Do not go here! They take advantage of you (especially if you are a young woman).

BEST place in town for your car maintenance and repairs. Staff was welcoming and very kind and respectful. Just an all-around great auto mechanic

Became our go-to place once we discovered their great service. Much preferred over going to the car dealerships.

I'm going to go ahead with a 4 star rating. 3 sets of front struts on a 2014 Ford AWD escape in 2000 miles. They warrantied but claimed I was driving it abusively. I didn't agree. They claimed the transmission was the problem, which it wasn't. After going round and round after the initial repair requested was to "go through the suspension, drivetrain and brakes front and rear. Wheel bearing to wheel bearing left to right, front to back, and whatever it costs, it costs. Whatever it needs, replace it. Price is irrelevant. Come to find out... After the 3rd set of front struts, and a severe front noise hadn't gone away. Miraculously an engine mount was spotted. And was the culprit all along. Kudos to the owner who stepped up and took responsibility for the missed diagnosis from the start. They've done work on my F250 intake manifold and replaced a spark plug that blew out. So, the technicians might overlook a few hard to find problems and blame the car owner for abusive treatment, all in all, I think they deserve a 4 star rating.

The MOST fair auto mechanic I’ve ever been to. I couldn’t express in words how grateful I am to them for how much they’ve been able to help with my vehicle, and the cost is always affordable. They are honest and incredibly kind - I will choose to take my car here every single time I need something and recommend them to everyone I know.

I have a 00 Sierra 1500. At first friendly was the front man for an easy oil change. But then I needed front brakes later on when I came back. He later sent his guy out there (which was very friendly) and just said flip rotor and replace shoes (I already knew that) I go back in and I ask them to do such thing. The man says "No buddy, come back when you need some brakes" after cracking me a wiseass remark. The job was done for 220 elsewhere and this guy wanted me to grind my rotors down to nothing costing me double if not more the price. I would not even send my mother or my best friend to this shop. 👎

I would 100 percent not recommend this shop. From my experience with them they do shoty work and our car was finished a never even called us to pick it up then the parts they fixed were still broke.

Poor customer service and disrespectful experience. Took my RV here in 2021 for the bi-Annual smog check and had no problems. It was close to where my RV is stored which made it very convenient. Time again for the 2023 smog check to get my new tags. I called on a Saturday morning at about 9 am to make sure it was open since I did not want to make the drive unnecessarily. I called no answer so left a very detailed message with my name, phone, smog check for my RV, and wanted other things done. Never got a call back. The following Tuesday we drove to this outfit and got there at 4:08 pm and were told they don't take services after 4 pm since they close at 5 pm. What? I said eight minutes, mechanic said (Davy?) "Yeah life is hard." I called you on Saturday and never got a callback, mechanic said "Yeah I got your call" and still would not check my RV. He had three mechanics standing by, and no other cars in the bay which was a very strange posture. Why would a joint like this give such horrible treatment to its customers? You decide if you want to take your chances on your next visit. On their website, an image of this character appears to manage or owns this outfit while holding a large wrench with arms folded. "You name it, they do it" just don't show up eight minutes past 4 pm, because they won't. Nice form!

Knowledgeable, professional, and Honest definitely recommend for any repairs. That was my original view but after calling him i.e. Dave back apparently he doesn't like working on KIA's therfore told me to hit the road.

I got my car smogged there today. Very quick and friendly service. Comfortable waiting area but gladly I didn't have to wait around long at all.

If I could put ZERO stars I would. DO NOT take ur vehicle here!!!! Went in because battery light came on. Just installed a new battery & starter less than 6 mos ago. Told them I think it’s the alternator. They said they tested the alternator & it was fine so they sold me a “new” battery & sent me on my way. Got about an hour out & the battery light came back on. Called & stated I’d be back. After a jump from AAA (AAA stated the “new battery” they sold me wasn’t new) & then a tow back to the shop they tell me it’s the alternator. Get that fixed & literally drove to the pilot less than 15 min the van started running hot. Keep in mind it’s Saturday & the end of the day. Transmission fluid leak. Monday they tell me I’ve got a blown head gasket. Was not having any coolant issues prior. How do you walk in with one extreme & come out with a totally different problem! These people are trash! Not to mention they told me the alternator job would take 4 hours, but took them a little over an hour & was quoted $1000 then $1100 to $1300!!! I hope this shop gets everything that’s coming to them in the worse way. It’s not over I promise you.

Customer service is not that great. I'm a loyal customer. But I called on the phone. And they got no time to take care of me. How does that work? He said I got a line of people that are paying customers. So what does that mean? I'm not?

I am new to this area, so it was good to find this smog place nearby where they are friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. I don't normally give reviews, but their service earned it. Highly recommend.

Dave smogged a couple of our cars, he was kind, courteous, professional, and very knowledgeable and efficient. That alone earned him our businesses. I took my truck in one morning for what I thought was a brake problem, and quickly he discovered something else it could have been far more grave. Before noon my truck was done and ready to roll. The pricing was fair and honest and Dave's integrity is second to none. Feeling Express is highly recommended.

Showed up with an 02 Silverado. Had random misfiring. Dropped it off at 10:30 and picked it up at 2. They found an o2 sensor wire that was shorting out. They repaired the wires and charged me 1 hour labor. Very fair and professional business. A great asset to this small community. Keep up the good work guys.

Last minute to get a smog done on my wifes Camry...decided to stay local for our personal smogging needs and WOW!!! We were in and out like FAST! Sat down inside the waiting area maybe 2 minutes and VOILÁ... the car was done. Great service! The gentleman inside the waiting area who took my money was real friendly and I gotta say...the wife and I were amazed and happy. One More Necessary Errand completed And Fast! GREAT JOB GUYS! YOU ALL ROCK!!!

Absolutely love the service I receive here. Dave is wonderful, straightforward and honest. Took my car in for 100,000 mile tune-up and it was done in less than an hour and cost was under $200.

I originally wrote a review for this place, because I use them when I first came into town. I am still continuing to use them until this day. I just wanted to give an updated review because they really treat the customers wonderfully. They are able to get the job done, and they always do the best. They can keep everyone satisfied. The only negative is that they are always extremely busy. But let’s be honest we live in a small town and if someone does good service, we are all going to run back to that same place. It’s not their fault that they’re busy. It’s a sign of how great they are. Just wanted to get on here and update this review since I just had to take my car to the shop again.

I never use any other shop. They are the very best at what they do. From the clean pleasant office, to outstanding management, to a team of mechanics who know exactly what they are doing, they've earned 5 gold stars. I'd give them 10 if I could! Peace out

I went here for a smog check. Had no idea what to expect. I was blown away by the amazing customer service I received. I had 4 kids with me, 3 being under 3 and they had me in and out very quickly. I will definitely be back and would recommend this shop to anyone looking. Small town business with a big heart at the core.

Wow! What a truly honest, reliable, and absolute professional business we are so grateful to have here in Phelan. We trust all our vehicles with them. Customer service is consistently kind and respectful to all. Everyone is friendly and service is timely. Such a gem of a business. And It's not just the professionalism and knowledgeable technicians that keeps us coming back. It's also the pleasant, good natured way the business is run. Absolutely Highly recommend!

I don't usually write reviews but this place deserves one. The way that my car was handled was the complete opposite of a lot of car shops. Instead of looking for other issues that "need" fixing other than what I was bringing my car in for, Chris and his team looked into solving the original issue in the best, most affordable way they could find. The car was also serviced much quicker than I expected. The entire experience was completely hassle free!

Went in at 2:27pm, they close at 5. Told they were completely booked. There were 2 empty spots in the garage and 2 trucks parked outside. This is the second time I've been when they couldn't do it both times the boss wasn't there. Although the last time I went at 4:23, the boss said I was lucky to get in because they don't like taking customers after 4 Again they close at 5! He stated the guys are tired and have to clean up.seriously?!Aren't we all tired at the end of a shift!! It's an oil change for goodness sake, you undo a bolt empty out old oil put in new oil Top off fluids, most of the time Yes I've gone home to check and no they were not topped off, they were the same as when I went in. Seems like the prices have gone up but the service has gone down. I am sad to know I will have to take my business elsewhere

These guys are GREAT. Super professional very helpful and knowledgeable. The Owner Dave or David was kind enough to open a free oil change raffle on one of our towns Facebook groups. I was the lucky winner ! I gotta say this was such a blessing for both me and my wife. Not only did he give me a free oil change through the raffle but he changed my breaks for free I provided the pads and he helped me out with the rotors. My other car needs an oil change soon, the quote he gave me for the other car was very reasonable and fair priced! I would defiantly encourage anyone to go here for your auto repair needs. It is hard to come by honest mechanics that don't try and drain you for all your worth with false car diagnostics or unreasonable prices. Really liked them and very clean shop! Will be back soon to get some repairs on my car!
