I come to C.P. Generators for all of our heavy equipment starters. If you're looking for a starter you can't find at a retail store; C.P. probably has it and at a better price. The savings alone alone are a re ason to at least give them a call and see. Ask for Gerardo, he'll take care of you.

Found them when I needed an Alternator repaired, was in and out of there within 10 mins with an alternator replacement (which btw they charged way below AutoZone and other auto parts stores). Alternator installed and the car is up and running again. Gave me warranty for the alternator as well, couldn’t be any happier with the experience. 10/10
I bought a starter here back in February, fast forward to this month and it gave out already. I told them that the starter was not working under a load test but they were not agreeing. Ended up taking it to another shop where they actually opened up the starter and confirmed it was bad. I took my loses considering this place doesn’t follow their one year warranty policy.

so I have an electrical issue with my car. I brought my alternator to CP and was helped by Gerardo who had it checked right then and it was fine. I told him I thought my battery was shot because it was only showing 6 volts, he said my charger would not charge it but he has a charger that will and said bring it in and I will charge it for free. picked it up few hours later and it tested good. I would have gladly paid for the service. excellent customer relations.
bad news is I still have a problem with my car but didn't spend money on something not needed.

Friendly, honest, and concise are the three words I can think of to describe my experience here. The estimate to rebuild my old generator is fair, and I was given a clear explanation of what to expect when I brought in an off-brand, cheap voltage regulator. My first experience will make a lasting impression, and I will recommend this shop to everyone.
This shop is fantastic. You will not find prices cheaper than C.P. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I bought an alternator here about a year ago. I then had what I thought to be a bad starter. They tested it for me and told me it was a good starter. Some places would have told me it's bad so I can buy a new one. The problem ended up being a bad starter relay switch. I would recommend this place 100%.
These guys saved our bacon. I'd give them 10 stars instead of just 5. They had the correct caterpillar starter ready to go when I got there. They were about $600 cheaper than the dealer for a rebuilt one.
We went in to purchase an alternator. They offered to come out to the car and check it first. The guys came out and spent a good amount of time, checking the voltage. They took their time, like our car was of utmost importance, educated us on what they were looking for. Apparently, the alternator has good voltage and doesn’t need replacing. They were friendly, knew their business, and saved us a lot of money. When and if we DO need an alternator, THEY WILL get our business. What a pleasure to do business with honest people!!

Was in need of a Yellow Top Optima battery for my 2005 Toyota Matrix XRS, which the battery is relocated on this vehicle to the rear. Gerardo was very polite and helpful, able to get me the EXACT same battery I needed for my application. It was a special order and he got it for me in less than a day, and also was very communative and gave me a call to inform me when my battery arrived. 10/10 Highly Recommend.
Oddly enough I couldn’t wait to give this review. This place was well organized, clean, fully stocked and prepared for whatever was needed. They made adjustments to my alternator so it would fit my vehicles requirements. Super helpful and great customer service and experience. It’s family owned as well so that’s huge. I paid 72.00 plus tax for a 210.00 unit. Yeah it may not be a lifetime warranty but this place rebuilt it and they offer 1year who needs more when the shop is right there. Definitely returning and telling everyone I can. Thanks again happy to do business here.
Awesome family owned business that really takes care of there customer. I got hooked up with an upgraded battery and alternator for a killer price but besides the price the customer service was above and beyond what I expected. They did a thorough test on my electrical system with before and after results I couldn't be happier. They know what they are doing here. Friendly customer service over the phone, in person, and online. They quoted me a price online and when I talked to the lady over the phone she had a different price then the one I was quoted a week earlier and she said “ oh no worries that ones cheaper let’s go with that then” I purchased a starter for my Honda Accord and it went in perfectly and the performance has been flawless. I tell everyone I know if you need a starter, alternator, or battery then you need to go to C.P. Generator. I don’t know how else to say that they are the best in the business period point blank.
They are rebuilding and converting my starter for me 1949 Ferguson TO 20. Shop is easy to locate, clean, and they have rows of rebuilt starters and alternators beautifully done. Not a lot of these types of shops around anymore. I'm glad they are still here.

C.P Generator Fontana was the best option compared, auto zone,buying an alternator they were very friendly, Gerardo allowed us to have options on a budget. I would definitely go there again and recommend it to other call find out for them selfs.

Went to this place a couple of weeks ago for my alternator. They certainly impressed me. I had been shopping around the area and each place I had gone made me feel like they were pulling a fast one on me but this place didn't. They made me feel at home and informed me about the part rather than look at me like an idiot.
Now I'm happy to tell everyone that they're the place to go. Prices are great, the people are friendly, and the work area is clean which gave me the impression that they care about their business. With the detail orientation they put into their business you know the part they give you is going to have had the same attention to detail.
Extremely friendly and professional - treated me with the utmost respect and like family. the cleanest, tidiest automotive related facility I’ve ever been in. ROCK BOTTOM PRICES. If for whatever reason you aren’t going to go here- at least call them for a quote .. local businesses will probably price match as most of them get their parts from here.
