Buyers beware of this yard!! Fontana pick your part charges higher prices for the same part than San Bernardino Pick your part. Why--- because no one challenges them. All pick a part yards are owned by the same greedy Company. Their prices should be the same regardless of which yard your going to. Also they " nickle and dime on your part purchases with add on's - like deposit fees on parts - knowing full well that most customers will not make the extra trip back to yard to return the old part for a refund of the deposit. Then they charge you and " environment fee " - which is NOT a government fee on top of your bill just to buy parts there. Just another fee to increase their profits . Now they are rounding up to the nearest nickle - even if you pay by debit/ credit card to purchase an item. The whole pick your part - " PICK AND RIP " Company yards are greedy and invent ways to constantly raise prices. If This company could figure out on how to charge you for breathing " AIR " in their yards - they would. Another example of corporate greed with no end in sight. People you have been warned- shop at your own risk of being ripped off at ALL pick and Jip yards.

I used their mobile app to locate a part I needed on a 2011 Lexus ls 460 and it said Fontana location had it a price of $33. Went to that location and took off the part myself which was difficult to do and when I took it to the cashier they hit me with $110. I explained that to the manager on site and all she said was take it or leave it basically. Horrible customer service and manager not empathetic at all no people skills. Beware of prices on app it’s a scam you will waste your time and you ca find parts cheaper online!

We had a great time at PYP and found most parts needed. I have been shut out on previous visits. It's a bummer to arrive at the car only to discover it has already been thoroughly picked over. The best advice is to check the date it arrived on the lot. Our chosen vehicle had arrived a day before our visit. Being that it is a Ford F350, I imagine the demand is not as high as others. Best of luck, you can save money, but if not, then you're out both time and money.

Best pick a part yard i have been so far. The staff was very friendly and helpful especially one of the cashiers l, her name is Sabrina she was super helpful in explaining how the warranty work for the parts and price range. I can't thank her enough for her help.

The staff was very friendly and respectful. The staff even offered a bottle of water or slim jim as a courtesy. Pick a part is a place where you pull your own parts off used dirty cars, so bring old clothes you don't mind getting filthy, bring a cart to move your tools and the parts you pull around. Bring something to lay on the ground so you stay a little cleaner and bring some rags to wipe off your hands after you're done and reaching for your wallet to pay for everything

I give it one star because I have tried many times to speak with a worker at these places to ask if vehicle parts are available, but it turns out that there is no phone number for each location because many times you travel from very far away and when you arrive you can't find the part. They should improve the system and show the part that has already been sold, or they will also do it so that you don't miss the $5 entry fee. The prices of the parts are very excellent, you should just have a phone number to talk to before going

Worst customer service. Coming from the workers and manager. They lack training. I went to buy some seats the manager wanted to charge me 200 dollars each seat online it says 60 each with no air bags no seat belt. I asked why the seats were 200 each and not 60 they said because they are from a special car. I used to come here for many years never heard that before. I don’t know if the rules changed or something. They should update the online website or put up signs saying the price depends on the car it’s coming from. But online it specifically says front seats are $59.99. The manager says I should buy them to resale I told him I wanted them for my car. he told me he was going to resale them if I didn’t buy them. So he was basically asking the $400 to get some profit off them or so I wouldn’t purchase them and he could buy them and resale them. I found the same ones for $70 each on facebook marketplace. This is unacceptable.

Not just the Fontana yard, but all local pick your part locations,b they have 1-2 cashier's open during the busiest weekend days, with no sense of urgency to move the line along. 45 minutes to an hour in line in the hot sun. The aisles between rows of cars are clutter with piles of discarded parts. Trip and fall hazards all over. OSHA would be appalled.

I was here for specific vehicle in the search vehicle list say is going to be in the yard on 5/17 25 and wasn't they say they going to remove engine and transmission before pu ir in the yard why is in the search vehicle list that is going to be in the yard when it wasn't? I love this place. It's very clean and organized everything is in order. I highly recommend it for people to come to this place for pick up their auto parts. They have excellent service and good team work especially Mr, Daniel. Thank you for everything.

Make sure to ask at the entrance for the car part you're looking for to not have to pay the entrance if they dont have the car in their lot. They will be cool and print out places with the row and space number where you can find the car to pull your parts. I encourage everyone to always respect one another.

Prices are worse than on ebay.....you got to remind them prices and most of the items are cracked scratch and missing pieces .....this ain't no Ross or bloomindales stores...

In person everything is good but when you call or ask about prices and what not they don't assist you. Whn you call the phone number is called We Care and it's a funny because they are rude ans they hang up on you after they say you can look for it on the website. So if your having trouble exploring their website don't bother calling the pick your parts website.

I run a small vehicle reycling business and have dealt with LKQ since 2018. Specifically Sabrina whom I met in 2019. I have followed her from LKQ Riverside, San Bernardino and now this Fontana location. Always happy and ready to assist you. I'd also liken to mention Majee whom I've known for the better part of this year. Cool guy. Always sharp and will get you a quote on your junk car in just a few seconds. Thank you guys!. Hope to keep doing business with you. -Carlos M. Partme

Not worth one's time to go here. They're selling junk for top dollar. It's literally a JUNK-YARD but you'll be paying unrealistic prices. Camshaft here is $350, but on eBay $75 and already removed and shipped to you with 90-day free return included at no additional cost. An AC condenser here is $53, but on eBay for $55 NEW and comes with 90-day free returns. Used center caps here are $7 each, on eBay set of 4 NEW for $12..... I can keep going on many other categories. Literally these guys are up-selling junk and trash for top dollar which otherwise should have been a few dollars, considering we have to pull parts ourselves. Sometimes best way to win is not to play.

Was able to get a seatbelt buckle at 2 to 3 times less the price of eBay. Yes they add on a warranty, still way cheaper than eBay or online…. all in under $30 including entrance. Everyone was very friendly… all cars are organized into “row” and “space”. Before showing up filtered inventory online for what I was looking for, took a screen shot on my phone, found donor cars right away on-site ( rows labeled on rear quarter panel of cars nearest aisle as you walk in)… got lucky on the second car that had the part I was looking for. Most important, friendly employees, 5 stars all day. Thanks you, my son can drive to work again.

They are ripped off, I went to buy a few things that needed and they charged me for a guarantee on everything. It was additional $25.00, after reviewing my receipt I went back to the cashier an requested a refund. She refused to give me the money back, she said you should have looked before paying. I have warranty for a oil stick. And for things that didn't make any sense. Stupid lady, take advantage of customers. NEVER GOING BACK, I DROVED ALL THE WAY FROM SAN DIEGO. BE AWARE THEY ARE THEFTS OUT THERE

Went to buy parts off a car that was listed as “last chance savings.” When I was going through the gates I asked the attendant how much of a discount that meant, he said I’d have to ask the cashier. I spent half the day removing parts, but when I went to check out I got my total and was told that the last chance savings only applied to the hood I got but none of the other parts. Wish I would have known that before I put my time into removing them. They also tried to put the warranty fee on everything I was buying despite the fact that it wouldn’t make sense for 90% of the parts I needed. If I didn’t ask after being told the total I would have paid a bunch of extra money for no reason.
