Come to find out they didn't do a good job on my AC, you truly find out after something goes wrong and you take it elsewhere and they say who did the work before? This was that case they have a high star rating but they pick and choose what they want to work on. Before I found out their work wasn't so good they refused to do any other work on my vehicle. So much for a trusted local shop near me. Over priced and cant be trusted!
Welcoming and very nice staff that takes their time to listen to you when you are having car trouble.They fixed 2 of my cars. I love this place and always will return.
The team did a great job on my car. I am a little concerned as one of the techs accidentally took my car keys home with him. I feel that is a safety issue. What if someone else got ahold of the keys or they fell out somewhere?
This establishment came highly recommended, and I’m so glad I found them! James and Adam were both incredibly friendly and took the time to listen to my concerns and needs. I’m pretty disappointed in how I was just spoken to over the phone to see if someone could diagnose and repair or replace my radio. They came highly recommend but the customer service in my initial call to set up an appointment was incredibly rude and a 1 star. I understand they cannot repair the radio, but when clarifying with them what they could do, she tells me “I already told you what the technician could do”. This was after she initially told me they couldn’t do anything with my radio but they in fact (after she decided to gather clarification from a technician) could replace it after a diagnosis. The only reason I didn’t give a one star is I’m sure their car service is great, but after that initial phone call I don’t care to move my business to their shop.
Called and got my car in the same day. They ordered the part and fixed it and my car is running so much better now! Will be coming back to them for car problems now
I am SO grateful to have such a trustworthy and friendly auto repair establishment in my neighborhood. From big repairs to the small things, they have provided wonderful customer service at a fair price time and time again. In today's world this is becoming rare. Thank you Arden Village! Have been here more than a handful of times since returning to the area. The staff are friendly and very honest about the quotes. It's very apparent they care about you and you're time and I can appreciate that. My go to spot for any car maintenance I need done.

I brought my car in for an AC issue after doing tons of research and comparing shops, and I’m so glad I chose Arden Village Service. James was super patient, explained the test results clearly, and the whole team was completely honest. They found my car was 17 oz low on Freon, recharged it, and added leak dye — no leaks found. They even told me to come back for a free check if it stops cooling. Fair price, no rip-offs, and now my AC is ice cold again. Thank you to James for his clear communication. After two other shops failed to diagnose my misfiring car (that would suddenly drop RPM's while driving, at stop lights, etc), I decided to give Arden Village Service a try.
They were unable to diagnose the problem in the shop because it didn't show up on the computer, but they took it out on the road and felt the problem for themselves. It turns out only 3 of my 4 cylinders were firing consistently!
Not only did they diagnose the problem, but for just $100 more, they actually fixed it the same day.
It's hard to find a car repair shop where you don't feel you are being gouged or tricked. I'm delighted by my experience today and will be back.
Hands down, one of the best auto shops in the area. Called them due to me being concerned about a noise my car was making.
They were very understanding and assisted me with scheduling a day to stop by before I go to work so they could have a test drive with me to determine the cause of noise for free.
After popping my hood, I was informed that my radiator was cracked and leaking coolant. Despite them being very busy, they were kind enough to squeeze me in and replace my radiator THE SAME DAY.

Fell into a bit of a pickle with my car, having to order a super specific part that took a month+ to get. Ted was the one who worked with me on my car (though I talked with other staff and they were helpful, too!), but he kept me updated every step of the way and made sure I was taken care of. Fair prices all around, as well. There’s no other place I’d rather have my car stranded for an entire month and have to suffer through ordering backordered parts <3 Thank you again, guys!
For over ten years I’ve received excellent customer service at Arden Village. This time around some of my dashboard lights were turned on and I took the car to get checked. It was something simple and they fixed it and charged me less because they spent less time. Really appreciate the honesty and good business practices. Fully recommend it.

This is 100% the most honest and trust worthy repair shop you will find. A rare gem. I have a jeep and if you know jeeps you know why I’m here so much lol. This shop is absolutely amazing and hold to their word on any warranty they put on the work they do. I can’t express how thankful I am to know about this place. I live in Rescue, and I always have my jeep towed down the hill to this shop, I pass up all the other shops along the way for a reason. This place is the best.
I read a lot of positive reviews about this garage so when my check engine light came on my Hyundai I decided to give them a try. They lived up to each and every review. They diagnosed my car and came up with a plan, and even looked up my warranty. Super reasonable and a great team. I think I found my new mechanic!!!
Wonderful! The alternator on my 2012 Corolla died and needed to be replaced. I called and spoke with Pete. He said to call when 3A had it and was on the way. I did about 11:00. He called back about 1:00 to give an estimate. (Just over $500, which was in line with Carfax App pricing.) About 2:30, he called back and it was finished. Price was reasonable.
Wow!!! Family oriented, friendly, and efficient. They’re fair on the price and down to earth folks. 5 star service I definitely recommend Arden village.
Took my car here today because of what seemed to be a major electrical issue I've been having for months. The rep said that it was the alternator, and that might be the case. But I told him what was happening at least 3 times, to which he clearly wasn't listening. He then kept saying I'd described other issues (having to jump the car and battery drain) that I did not report and did not occur. When I asked how the alternator could cause this issue, he could not explain and simply wanted to change the alternator. They also wanted to charge me over $300 for an alternator that retails at an auto parts store (Denzo factory replacement) for $189. Finally, they charged me $75 to test the alternator (which takes about 2 minutes and Autozone does for free), even though they were doing two other services on the car.
I believe this place does good work and it has a great reputation, but I'm not paying premium prices for lousy customer service and marked up parts. The $75 diagnostic charge really pissed me off, especially since you can get that done for free at any auto parts store. I could have bought my own alternator tester for less than that and tested it myself. I'm taking my business elsewhere from now on.
I had an issue with my car today (gravel protector came loose!) and of course it happened right before 5pm on a Friday. I was able to drive it home, but wasn’t able to fix it and my husband wasn’t able to either. I had already contacted the dealership but they wouldn’t be able to get me in until next week, and the other collision places I knew of don’t operate on weekends and were already closed. I googled to find someone open on the weekend so I could drive my car (I didn’t want to drive it in the state it was in for fear it would cause something worse to happen—and I wasn’t exactly sure how/why it happened) and Arden Village popped up. I called expecting to leave a voicemail since they were closed per their hours, but surprisingly a very nice person answered. When I explained what was going on, she said if I could bring it there then, they could take a look and possibly get it taken care of so it would be safe to drive. I was impressed and incredibly grateful. I got there quickly and the mechanic there saw that it wasn’t bolted down (the dealership is going to get an earful from me), and managed to get it secured in no time at all. They are fantastic and what an incredible business to have in our neighborhood! I knew of this place but didn’t realize they did repairs and whatnot, and I’m just so happy and impressed with them. They were so nice, friendly, and helpful and definitely have my business from here on out. Thank you so much!
Went to fill up the tank and asked if they would check my oil as I was about to go on a long road trip. James not only checked and then topped off the oil, but checked all the fluids and tires giving me a green light and peace of mind for my trip. The guys here are kind, courteous and know what they are doing. So glad to live near such a great establishment.

First time here at Arden Village Service to get my axle replaced and I had nothing but a great experience. My WRX STI was heavily modified, so they're definitely mod-friendly. Even if your car is lowered, they got you covered as long as it can clear their lift! Their pricing is great and they even install customer supplied parts. This place is great. They saved me this morning. I had a check engine light on and I must have stopped at 6 different shops over a 3.5 hour period, in the Carmichael and surrounding areas and none of them had time to help me or were not qualified to help me, or ignored my presence but David and Especially Ken made time to help me. Thank You David and Especially Ken! Ken took the time to physically check my vehicle out to rule out the easy explanations for my check engine light, just to come to find out that the shop that did my oil change, on the previous day, forgot to reattach the air hose, which had triggered the check engine light to go on. Ken reattached the hose and had my engine light cleared and didn't charge me for any of it and got me on my way within no more than maybe 5 to 10 minutes. This place is awesome and thanks to them I was able to get myself to work finally with confidence. Arden Village Service didn't have to take their time out of their busy schedule to fit my Toyota Highlander in like they did and they didn't have to correct the issue at No Charge but they did and I am sincerely grateful. I was hoping for a good result after 3.5 hours of looking for help and they were there to help and they did help and it was painless and stress free. I highly recommend Arden Village Service as the place to go if you have issues with your vehicle. Thank You Very Much.
What an awesome experience I had! I had a whole slew of problems and they resolved every single one of them! My truck has a unique rear axle that very few mechanics have experience with and they were able to diagnose it and get it back working along with fully rebuilding the AC system, parking brake system and resolving a few sensor issues. They were very communicative during the whole process, kept me informed when they found additional issues and asked if I wanted to fix them. The price was fair and overall I would recommend them!
