Southbay Euro is AWESOME! I just left the Benz dealership after being told i’d have to pay $100 for them to install a $24 clip I purchased for my 2015 c300 and it would take 3 hours.
I left and drove 5 minueted to Southbay Euro. Not only did the owner personally install it under 10 minutes I paid a fraction of the dealer install cost. THANKS SOUTHBAY EURO!!!
PLEASE DONT GIVE ANY BUSINESS TO THIS SHOP!!! I asked for a quote on my BMW only to change the timing chain , the owner estimated 2800! I took the car in for the service and when I was there , he tried to sell me more services for my car , without even checking my car to rise up my quote up to 5 k !!! I told him I was there only for what we agreed , that it was only that timing chain, as soon as I refused any other service he wanted to do to the car , he didn’t want to take my car to do ONLY the service that I requested!!! Because of course he wanted to sell me more services and get more money!!! They SCAM and they will try to DO MORE SERVICES to your car, extra services that you won’t even need !! to get more MONEY out of you!! YOU CAN NOT TRUST ON THIS SHOP TO DO ONLY WHAT YOU NEED!!..AND exposing my personal reasons with my car or even to lie about it , doesn’t change the fact that they didn’t even CHECK the car first, in order to give an estimate instead of trying to over charge first for things that the car might NOT even need! And I’m not the ONLY one complaining about this place OVER CHARGING PEOPLE! Please check the other BAD REVIEWS ABOUT THIS PLACE, they charge for services that are not even required on your car! Please look somewhere else to fix your car , other place you can trust that they won’t scam you and over charge you! No matter the HUGE reply they send to me ! and exposing lies and personal information about me, to JUSTIFY the big ISSUE HERE that is that they SCAMM and OVER CHARGE ! my personal life and if I wanted to sell or not my car after ,is is not the issue in here , the issue is the bad service and the Non trustable place to fix your car at this shop!
The folks at SBay Euro are fantastic. It is not always that you meet an honest mechanic. I always feel like they are giving me the best advice. I routinely recommend South Bay Euro to all my female friends because I know that the owner and team will never take advantage of me. I trust them to always do a good job. If you drive in for an oil change then that is the service. Keep up the great work!
I have been going to Southbay Euro Car for over two years now after I got a used Volvo. Mahida and his team are very professional, thorough and always talks me through different options. I’ve done maintenance, replacing brakes, my tires, etc. They even facilitated getting a new tire under the manufacturers warranty so I didn’t have to pay for it.
You guys are my go-to for any car issues, so thank you and I appreciate that you guys are just a half mile away from my house so I can get my steps in too.

Been here 2-3x now for service.
First experience was fine, price for the checkup was fair.
Latest visit did not feel great? Got multiple repairs done that I agreed were needed. Paid 1250 to get done 1 set of brake rotor replacement, brake pad replacement, general inspection of car @ 100k miles, synthetic oil change. Was told my engine was leaking oil but it was not a critical issue.
I went back after a check engine light ~1 week later after + my AC stopped working - could very well be coincidence for a 2013 100k mile car. Paid $300 to diagnose the check engine light and the AC issue. Faulty electronics were to blame in the end apparently + it was time to replace my battery.
I was quoted $400 to replace a battery so that's what threw me off from continuing any more work at this shop. Even I know that is a pretty simple task so I went to Autozone and bought one for under $200 and did it myself in 15 minutes. I went back and bought an OBD fault reader for my car for $60 and confirmed the same faults the shop charged me $300 to diagnose too.
The work done here is alright but I am just not happy getting abused with the labor upcharges. Buy Autozone and O'Reilly stock if this is the industry norm through 2023 - it's DIY season lol.
My Audi had a check engine light and a transmission failure message. It would not go over 20 mph I work at a collision shop and had it scanned but they could not diagnose the issue. I was close to del amo mall when the car finally gave up on me and I got on google somehow I came across this shop and read the reviews. I was really stressed and scared to get taken advantage of as I know Audi is an expensive car to keep up with. The owner diagnosed the issue and gave me an estimate for parts and labor. He said I could pay the diagnose fee and go elsewhere if I decided as well. My gut said to trust him and get it done there. I am glad on my decision my car is running back to normal and was repaired in 4 days. Thank you Southbay Euro!
Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! Car was making a noise. The Volvo dealership had it for several days and was dumbfounded. They could not figure out what was going on and the $$$ kept adding up. I brought it to Southbay Euro Car and they fixed it. It took them several days because they had to do it by process of elimination, but they were committed to finding the problem. I will trust no one but them. Locally owned and amazingly dedicated to taking care of customers. Great experience.
I used this place about 7 months ago when my BMW needed new brake pads. They did a great job for reasonable price. I really appreciated the owner's straight forward approach, honestly and flexibility. Since I had such a great expreience, I decided I would return this past week because my check engine light was on. He ran the diagnostic for me and found out what the problem was, but he suggested I go to BMW instead because he did the research and found that the parts I needed replaced were still under warranty for my car. He could have easily charged me for diagnostics and repair, instead he told me to take my car back free of charge. I'll be sure to use him for other repairs that aren't covered by BMW in the future.
I'm staying im California for a week and needed an oil change as well as wiper blades for my BMW X-3. I found this establishment on google and was impressed with the reviews. Now, I can now share my own experience. Mahiba and his son were excellent. They ensured that the services needed were done and completed a safety inspection so that i can make it back home safe. They also helped me with another matter. I highly recommend them for your car needs.
Great work, customer service is great, would definitely recommend to another person. I came here after I had hit a curb really hard and felt like my car’s alignment was off. After I pulled in, I was instantly greeted by the owner, Mahida. One of the technicians took my car and began to work on it, it seemed like a slower morning so my car was done within an hour, very fast service! The technician showed me a printout of the specs and I was able to visually see how bad my car was off. After departing I enjoy driving a lot more than before. Would highly recommend giving them a try, you won’t regret it.
Mahida is the best mechanic I have found. He is extremely honest and does great work. He takes pride is his business and it shows. As others have stated, Mahida will never pressure you to get any work done unless he feels it is an immediate need for safety reasons.
The customer service they provide is wonderful. Mahida and his staff take the time to talk to you about your concerns with your car and clearly explain the work needed. Mahida also knows all of his customers by name which I find incredible. He always asks how my boyfriend and sister are (also loyal customers) when I take my car in.

I take my Volvo for repairs and service with them for couple of years now. The team at South Bay Euro car is best in business. All the safety and necessary repairs are dealt with great service and when it is needed to be attended to. Rest assured you will be getting good service at reasonable cost. The staff are polite and friendly too. I wish them success and hope they continue their high standards of service and customer care.
First time visiting Southbay - didn’t know what to expect but happy to say I was treated well. The dealerships tend to be untruthful and withhold a lot of information when it comes to services, so I decided to try out an independent shop. Really happy that I did - i was even mistakenly quoted for a lower price for a Service A and they still honored it even after informing me about the error which was really nice. They even offered some valuable insight about the car itself and things to watch out for. I’ll definitely be returning! I do recommend giving them a chance, friendly knowledgeable and most importantly they’d rather develop a relationship than a one time deal.

I have been extremely satisfied with the service. I always get an honest assessment from Mahida (owner) always addressing my best interest. I never thought I would have a great experience with anything to do with cars, but this company is really the exception to the rule. They are courteous, knowledgable, honest and totally fair. I had a 40k mile service on my Mercedes which the dealership wanted to charge $1300 for, and Southbay did it for nearly half that. I felt the service was equal quality, and they even refund you back if your car uses less synthetic oil, etc. than expected. I will be going back here for a long time.
I'm a second generation customer of Mahida's (my parents take their cars to him still) and have had nothing but good experiences. I've been taking my car to him since my very first BMW and have had no reason to look elsewhere. He is always thorough in his work and fair with his prices, and will try to help you out no matter the situation. Southbay Euro Car is the best, Mahida goes out of his way to give me a fair cost for services completed and lets me know what maybe an issue in the future. He and his staff provides quick and courteous service, I have been very pleased with each visit.
Mahida has been my mechanic for over 17 years and I wouldn't trust anyone else to work on my cars. He is a trustworthy, honest, and ethical person. He does not over charge nor mislead you, simply he is a darn good honest mechanic. And I would also say that his staff of mechanics are friendly and cordial.
I like to thank Mahida for getting my BMW serviced today in such a short notice, I have been going to this auto shop for over 8 years, he was recommended by another shop for their expertise in german cars. They are very kind and honest and most of all you get your car fixed right the first time and prices are good too,and he takes his time to answer your questions and explain to you and that is something hard to find. I am very happy with them and will continue to recommend South Bay Euro Car to all my friends.
A couple of weeks ago, I went to South Bay BMW to have my car serviced and upon inspection, they found that my rear differential, upper strut mounts and rear shock mounts were all cracked. They claimed that if I continued to drive my car that it would be a danger to me and my family. They quoted me over $3200 to get the repairs done.
I thought this was all a bunch of B.S. so I searched online for a reputable BMW Master Technician in the area. Mahida and the people over at South Bay Euro Car are very honest and courteous. They did a FREE inspection of my car.
Mahida pointed out that there was nothing wrong with my car. He could not find any of the supposed cracks. His technician even put a crowbar under my rear differential to show me that its solid and that it does not need to be replaced. He suggested that my front struts do need to be replaced but not anytime soon and that my car is not a danger to anyone. If I did want to replace the parts that the dealer suggested, he gave me a quote and it was less than 1/3 than what the dealer was charging.
I plan on having my car serviced at South Bay Euro Car from now on!
