READ THIS BEFORE GIVING YOUR CREDIT… READ THIS BEFORE GIVING YOUR CREDIT CARD i STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU READ THIS BEFORE GIVING YOUR CREDIT CRAD DETAILS. I called to order a part for my 2016 Range Rover. The agent confirmed the sale and the price was $38.25 The agent told me he is having problems processing my credit card (I NEVER HAD A PROBLEM BEFORE) and that he is transferring me to the billing department. I gave the agent at the billing department - again - my card details, and he said: You will get a question from the bank asking to approve the sale. Sure enough I got the text from the bank (NEVER HAD THAT BEFORE!!).I approved. The agent said, there is still a problem, lets try again. We tried again, did it three times and finally he said there is a problem with the card - Do I have another card?. I became suspicious, but went along and did the same procedure (AGAIN 3 TIMES WITH THE SECOND ARD). After three times I just gave up and dropped the issue. Because I suspected fraud, I logged to my card account and saw the $38.25 was processed right away - probably by the first agent, But there are three more charges from a name I never heard about!!!. Checked the second card - Same thing!!! three charges from the same company. Of course I had to cancel both cards. A couple of days later, I get an email from someone in the company, "responding to my inquiry about the part for my Range Rover". I told him the story, sent him copies of the charges - both the $38.25 and the fraudulent ones. After a few back and forth, he told me that they found out there was a crook in the company and he stole from others the same way, but he will gladly sell me the part. NOW THE PRICE WAS NO LONGER $38.25 BUT $64.23!!. I trusted him gave him the credit card number - and what do you know?? - SAME BANK CONFIRMATION REQUIRED!!! He apologized and said he is sending the part and gave me a tracking number. I NEVER GOT THE PART AND THAT TRACKING NUMBER DOES NOT EXIST!!! I wrote to him, told him about it - but he cut contact with me. Is there only one crook in the company ? 2 crooks? more? I don't know the answer, I only know the facts, but use your own judgment: WHY IS IT THAT TWO BANKS (MY TWO CREDIT CARDS WERE FROM TWO DIFFERENT BANKS) QUESTION THE PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY?? DOES IT MEAN THEY HAD PROBLEMS WITH TIS COMPANY BEFORE? IF SO, HOW MANY?? I AM NOT ACCUSING AND NOT IMPLYING ANYTHING AT ALL. I AM MERELY TELLING THE FACTS AS THEY WERE, AND LET EVERY ONE MAKE HIS/HER DECISION ABOUT IT. I KNOW I WILL NEVER CONTACT THIS COMPANY AGAIN, AND WILL TELL THE STORY TO ANYONE THAT ASKS ME ABOUT IT
Bring your tools, prices are very good , inventory is renewed constantly, find doors , fenders body parts , electrical, engines and transmissions. All thanks to Amelia for all the help
