Met Gabriel and he did a good job with my 2000 Toyota Tacoma, however when I took my 2015 Toyota Tundra right away he said needed to replace transmission. He assumed and that is unprofessional. I was in disbelief as I due the maintenance on time . Long story short I took my Tundra to the South Bay Toyota dealer and they fix it turns out it was a pressure D selenoid sensor. I would advice to have a shop and the dealer check the issue sometimes dealers are a bit pricey but they always get the job done on the other hand imagine I took his word literally it would of cost more than a thousand.
CAME TO A&D auto repair South gate for my ford fusion rear lights that did not turn off. Gabriel took a look at it and within 2 hours he had the problem solved. Such a honest guy. Def recommend him to everyone!!!!!!
My first time at A&E Auto. I came with a list of repairs that my dealer told me were necessary. After A&E took a look at my car they said all I needed was the tire rotation. They let me know when they estimated I’ll need the other work done which is like 10,000 miles from now! The business is also spotlessly clean; everything in its place and lovely plants. I am in my new right place for Car Care. Thank you A+D!

This is a long overdue review. Gabriel is the most honest mechanic I've ever had. He fixed my car and it stayed fixed. He diagnosed the problem and gave me a fair quote. I wish I had known him sooner.

They seem lost, very un profesional They never know what there doing. They always just refer you to a dealer ship. If i could give them a 0 star would be better!
No one likes having to visit the mechanic, but thankfully it’s always a positive experience here. My car is always in good hands. They’re honest and the prices are not insane. Even better, they work quickly! 100/100 I recommend them to anyone who needs a mechanic.
Got my catalytic converter replaced here through the CAP Program and I’d just like to say that Gabriel was very helpful throughout the whole process and informed me of everything that was happening. My car’s in perfect shape now thanks to this place!

I came here back in June 2021 because my Honda kept making a whining noise whenever it turned on. Since I'm from the area, I decided to support a local business with good reviews. I came on a whim, last minute and was attended to right away. About 2 hours later, they informed me that the problem was the starter (which other family members had guessed) and they replaced the starter very quickly. Additionally, they provided another service for free as my car needed more maintenance as well as providing me recommendations on how to continue the upkeep of my car.
Now, it is November and I am unfortunately having car problems again. After getting my car inspected, I was notified that the aftermarket starter that was placed at this location is the cause of the problems. I was informed that aftermarket starter for Hondas of the year 2008-2012 can cause immense problems. An expensive mistake I had to learn, I hope this information can be helpful to other Honda owners!

I chose this place based on the Bureau of Automotive's list. Although they fixed the problem that appeared to be preventing my car to pass smog, a week later my car started leaking oil. When I picked up my car and got in to drive off, I realized that they had forgotten to put back the engine cover which they quickly put back and did not secure properly. A week later when I took the car to them, I saw that knobs to cover were missing and therefore cover was loose.
I went to shop and owner seemed offended that I brought issue to his attention. He refused to look into the car issue of oil leak abd just put temporary knobs on engine cover.
I did not appreciate his tone or insinuation that someone else has worked on my car when I have only taken it to them.
Not a satisfying experience.
