I was shopping around for who would give me the best offer for my junk vehicle that I needed removed quickly. After a few offers, I called Carlos at this business. He seemed friendly enough. By phone his quote was about 50$ more than everyone else I had called. Then came the matter of scheduling the pickup.
He cancelled on me twice for consecutive days saying he didn't have the tow truck or that it was his day off. Rather confusing excuses when he was the one who set the day and time originally but alright, sure. I was operating on the assumption that he was still going to buy the van for what he had offered already by phone so I stuck with him.
Another red flag I should have noticed though was he asked me on my follow up calls for information that I had already given him repeatedly. That being pictures of the vehicle, confirmation of having the title, the address to pick up, etc. It was as if he took absolutely no bother to write down any of my information I had shared previously.
3 days in to figuring this out he tells me he can now only buy the junk car for 200$ which is now the lowest price I was offered. Given how long this had already taken, and the certainty I had that he would have the kind of tow truck needed to make a difficult turn into the lot and actually load the vehicle, I went with him anyway in light of this information. But as a message to anyone else, I would definitely not go with these guys again as my first pick. They didn't do anything terribly wrong, but it was rather inconvenient to say the least and I ended up being low balled at the last second.
I called to possibly get services and when I told the owner I didn’t have insurance, rather than give me advice he hung up in my face and ignored the two calls I placed after he hung up on me. Not helpful and rude. I will not be recommending this company and I hope these practices help to get you out of business.
A & B Junk Service should be their name. Terrible experience. Scheduled appointment to pick up my son's salvage vehicle. Even day of the service my son was able to confirm the pickup. Waited 45 minutes, then started calling to see what was up. My son had the guy Carlos' direct # he never picked up the phone. I called the office and talked to Mario, he said he'd have someone from the office call me with an update, that never happened and they stopped picking up my calls. A friend called, they picked up, as soon as he said my son's name they hung up. Wasted 2 hours of my day. Never use these guys if you want a reliable company with good customer service.
