We bought our car from DTLA, but we’ve been taking it to Cerritos for any issues + service because their customer service has been so amazing. Thank you to Aisleen G. who helped us this time!!

James, Daniel and Joe took great care of me. They made sure I was secured with a Loaner car while my car was being examined. They kept me in the loop with updates via text and actually responded when I reached out. They made me feel heard and appreciated as a car owner, I highly recommend them and can’t speak highly enough if the professionalism!

Great customer service, staff is friendly and greeted me with a smile when I arrived to check in my car. Dropped off our Atlas for routine service and a factory recall. Spencer explained everything, the whole process was quick. Both services were completed in a timely manner and car was washed. Thanks Spencer and Staff!

Amazing service. Ordered a part and it didn’t come with enough screws. The parts department was able to find and give me some extra screws! So thankful.

Spencer is amazing. Hang on to him as long as you can. He is very patient, kind, great listener, knowledgeable and put me at ease. So many words to describe his service but to sum it up he goes above and beyond at ease. He made a connection with me as a customer as my aunt is the shuttle bus driver for the dealerships and even pulled out a map of her route. That really touched me during this time of uncertainty with my vehicle that’s almost paid off through VW. He even explained the video and next steps of minor maintenance to my car in a way that put me at ease again. Now I know when I come to this dealership I’ll look forward to the experience than dread it. Employee of the month and year for sure! The car came back way cleaner on the outside and inside. I really needed that. Great way to begin my year! ???

Service department was great! Managed my expectations by telling me they were busy with it being a Saturday. I was in no rush so all fine with me. They were able to fully service my vehicle ahead of schedule which was a pleasant surprise. Overall great experience.

Took my Tiguan to do some suspension repair this weekend. Unfortunately due to the after market suspension they were not able to fix it. They took my car in , inspected the vehicle, would send me videos on the updates of my vehicle. Overall super great service they even gave me a complimentary car wash. Even though my cars issue was not resolved definitely coming back to service my vehicle in the future. Thanks to the advicer Aisleen she was great.

We ran into a bit of trouble on Saturday with our VW Atlas—the hood wouldn’t open, and it turns out the latch had broken. Thankfully, our car was still under warranty, which has been a blessing since it’s had a few other hiccups. They offered to lend us a car, which we gladly accepted. We let them know we were heading out of town and wouldn’t be back until Wednesday. They assured us we could keep the loaner car until we returned. On Monday, they called to let me know the car was ready and that we could come pick it up on Wednesday.

I asked Spencer to help me with 4 new tires, oil change and warranty/replacement for bad windshield washer reservoir sensor. Spencer was very professional and answered all my questions and making sure all my concerns were addressed promptly! I continue to have good experiences with this company. I also very much appreciate the mechanics with their care for my car! Tyler, thanks for saying hello and thanks for helping me a few weeks ago!

Everything was good they listen to my concerns that I had for both of my cars. They explained to me with videos what was wrong with my vehicle. The front lady of the desk she is super nice and answer me my questions. They keep you in touch with your service and vehicle all the time.

Spencer was by far the worst to work with. He didn’t want to help us or offer any alternative options for the services my car needs. He also refused to provide an itemized breakdown, which is my right as a customer so I can understand exactly what we’re being charged for. Instead, he gave us an ultimatum, claimed he had been patient, yet repeatedly failed to respond to our messages. On top of that, he is now threatening us with a one-day notice, saying that if we don’t pick up the car immediately, we’ll be charged $200 per day for storage. As someone who works in billing for a mechanic, I know that giving customers an itemized estimate is standard practice and simple courtesy. We always try to help our customers as much as we can — something Spencer clearly did not do. Overall, I found Spencer to be extremely unprofessional, and I am very unhappy with the way he handled our situation. It seems like he is more focused on squeezing money out of customers than providing honest service!

I will say that everyone is very knowledgeable on the process of making a person feel comfortable and understands their car and time is valued. From big to small they will get it done. Thank you very much for service. See you next time!

Had a great experience with Spencer he made sure to keep me informed on repairs and deadlines , got me a courtesy vehicle and just overall good attitude when we spoke . Thank you for the excellent work you and your technicians have at McKenna .

Thanks to my service advisor Spencer and VP of Service Mel for taking care of me and my Golf when I had some engine issues. They demonstrated true professionalism, customer service and expediency in getting my car back on the road. I recommend this dealership for service and sales; they have always taken care of me and my family.

McKenna will not contact you if you have an appointment and there are changes. I have been taking my car to them for a couple years and had an appointment on the books for over a month - nobody contacted me to let me know they were closing or needed to change the appointment and I wasn't informed until I arrived at their previous location that they'd closed a couple weeks prior. Only when I called this other location was I informed that the Huntington Beach location was closed and they did not transfer any existing appointments. Horrible customer service and would not recommend.

I started bringing my car to this dealership after dealing with another dealership and not being satisfied with my service. The staff here is great! I was graded instantly and assisted. SO FAR, I am very happy with this change.

McKenna VW Cerritos has some of the best Customer service when it comes to getting your VW vehicle worked on. Spencer is hands down the biggest reason I always take my car here for service. He is honest and as always never pressures me to have any services done. He will educate you on your car and help you make the best decision needed at the time of service. Highly recommend this place!!! Been coming here for over 8 years now and I will continue to do business with Spencer and his crew here at McKenna VW in Cerritos.

Such a great experience at this dealership every time. Service Advisor Tyler Shepherd is amazing, always finding ways to help, even looking for codes to help save on service. This past visit he found a sort of warranty that helped cover what I thought would be a nightmare bill. We are so grateful for his wonderful service this time and every time. In addition, Spencer Allison also helped as I arrived a bit late for the car pickup. He kindly stayed a few minutes as he was heading out. This was a wild day for my family, but we're so grateful to these gentlemen at the McKenna in Cerritos for making it much easier.

I had some issues with a check engine light and was stressing bad over it. I got in touch with these guys since I bought my car here and the experience couldn’t have been better. When I initially called in I spoke to Shane who made sure I was taken care of and Spencer made sure everything went smoothly. Highly recommend

It’s always a smooth experience here. A special thanks to Tyler for being kind and helpful with my 20k maintenance. Spencer has also helped me for my 10k visit and he was just as helpful and kind. They don’t pressure you to get services and are honest about what’s needed. For someone like me who doesn’t know too much about cars, the honesty is appreciated.

My dad took my car to get serviced and they offered to wash the car complimentary. Once he arrived home he noticed the hood was scratched. He called the service manager to tell him that he noticed the scratch and he said he’d call him back. He didn’t so my dad showed up the next day to show them the scratch. The service manager took it back to buff it out but he mentioned the hood would need to be repainted. He said the cost would be worth more than the car. He also mentioned the dealership doesn’t have insurance for that and said sorry. This is extremely unprofessional!
