Miscommunication with Service Advisor caused some confusion on when my vehicle would be ready. Didn't receive phone call or text on status, decided to drive to service center while waiting for status on the phone. All worked out, able to pick up completed vehicle just before closing at 6 pm.

I brought my 2006 land cruiser for an oil change. My suv has been very clean detailed and well maintained when i dropped off. Service advisor said he will call me when ready but nothing. I called at 0505 pm and found out its ready for pick up. My service advisor called me at 520 pm. When i got my land cruiser. Oil residue all over the place , on my left fender, grille, hood. Unfortunately, even my steering wheel has oil on it. I used wipes and kept it as evidence to show supervisor. I took pictures and called the office but since theyre closing no one answer left a vmail to supervisor's office. Next day i spoke to adriana, only thing is "i am sorry for what happen". Dealership service isnt cheap and if we have this issue this is not acceptable. I hope something can be done and hopefully will not happen again.

Arrived at AutoNation Toyota in Cerritos at 8:00 with no appointment for maintenance and my 2024 Highlander was ready at 10:00 am. Great service, professional staff and friendly. I highly recommend.

Bought a 2014 rava4 and bought as is with nice large monitor and nice big rear view mirror. But at the time of pick up, the nice big rear view mirror was removed. Still waiting for the mirror to be returned.

I arrived for a non-appointment routine maintenance around 7 AM on a Wednesday Paul helped me and gave me a list of required and suggested services. I inquired about windshield wiper replacements and added that to the services. During the service, I received videos from the servicer of all the fluids having been topped off. I received a text that my car was ready for pick up around 10:30 AM and that was that. This was par for the course for how services at AutoNation Toyota go. Thanks all!

I was very impressed with the dealership as a whole, from the sales team to the service team. The check engine light came on when I took the car home and the dealership made sure to take care of it without any issues. I would highly recommend Ozzy in the service team! He was great to work with. Every one I have dealt with with have been fantastic.

Sadly I am extremely disappointed with the experience i had on my tundra 2014. It took WAY longer then expected, excessively. Dealing with their boquarcy is extremely difficult. I appreciate the assistance of the customer service but unfortunately not much is on their power to make things better. I just want to say I hope I don't need to come back for services here again, purchase with autonation, nor work with Veritas insurance services again.

During each visit I’ve got Matthew and his customer service excellent always knowledgeable always attentive always keeping me on any updates that I need and letting me know my options. It’s a pleasure to always see him and have him get my service going on its way. I highly recommend it at Toyota and feel comfortable my car going to this dealer January 26, 2026. I came back in once again greeted by Matthew. Excellent the service got me taken care of brought me up to speed on all the maintenance that was requested and it was needed. Make sure my car was taken care of with picture and video which is a plus and always let me know that my service got done. Peace of mind is great.

Amazing experience with Vincent Esteves! From start to finish, he made the entire car-buying process incredibly smooth and stress-free. Took my four runner in for a oil change and Matthew Miller was my service advisor. Matthew was very helpful, kind, professional and knowledgeable in regards to my service and what was needed for my vehicle. Everything went smoothly and I was able to pick my car up within two hours.

My past experiences have not been great so I reached out to the service manager Carlos, and he made sure this visit was a better experience. Joseph was a great help! I didn't really want to have to go to Garden Grove or Huntington Beach because I live in Cerritos so I'm glad it was good this time.

I came in to Auto Nation on January 3rd and had the best experience ever. I went home with a Toyota Tacoma. I had been looking for a truck for 5 months with no luck. I had visited 3 other dealerships. All 3 were terrible . The pressure to buy and with too many hidden fees was so draining. But here at Auto Nation was a great experience. The sales person was very knowledgeable on the vehicle I was looking for with no pressure. Great person all around. I will always recommend Jason Nguyen.

I went in for the 5K service on my '24 Tacoma. Went in on time but had to wait for 10min for a rep to attend to me. Once I got attended service was quick. I do feel like Toyota in general are giving mixed signals for oil Change Service. Manual says 10K but I got it done at 5K. The service technician sent me a video saying, you should get our oil change done sooner.... mind you I was slightly over 5K. Overall, Toyota Cerritos was quick and attentive.

Honestly, I am sending 11 out of 10 stars for the gold standard service courtesy of Matt! I came in with a couple of issues—the tire gauge wasn’t working properly, and the passenger front lock was malfunctioning. ⭐ 1 out of 5 stars — except for Michelle, who deserves 5 I normally don’t write reviews, but today’s (11/8/2025) experience at the Toyota service department deserves to be shared. I arrived early for my 10:20 a.m. appointment (at 10:00 a.m.) for a simple oil change on my Hyundai — which, yes, may seem out of place at a Toyota dealership, but my vehicle came with a prepaid service package through Toyota when I purchased it. I checked in promptly and was given a service number, expecting to be helped shortly. Instead, I waited. And waited. For over 50 minutes, I watched as every other car and customer — all assisted by male service advisors — were helped and processed efficiently, while I was consistently passed over. Each time I tried to inquire, I was met with dismissive “just wait” responses, without anyone taking the time to actually assist me or even check my appointment details. It was frustrating, unprofessional, and disappointing to feel completely ignored despite being on time and patient. Then came Michelle, the After-Sales Advisor, who was the only person to step up and help. She was kind, proactive, and genuinely apologetic about the situation. Michelle immediately took ownership, got my car processed, and treated me with the respect and professionalism that should be standard in any service department. She turned an otherwise negative experience into something tolerable through her empathy and competence alone. To management: Please take note of the lack of attentiveness from your male service advisors. Customers should never have to wait nearly an hour for acknowledgment, especially with a scheduled appointment. Michelle’s customer service was exceptional — she deserves recognition for going above and beyond when others would not. If you visit this location, ask for Michelle. She’s the only reason I’m giving this review even a single star.

Had a great experience with the service department today. It was easy to make my appointment online, I was checked in right away when I arrived. The service took the length of time as expected. The waiting lobby was comfortable and spacious and the WiFi worked great. Oswaldo was the representative I was working with and he was great, explained everything clearly. Was very friendly and professional. Would absolutely recommended this location for service.

I had an appointment on Wednesday morning at 7am. I got there 5min before my time. They were able to assist me right away in a timely manner. I decided to wait there. They do have a waiting area, very spacious. A good to selection to go and sit at. I believe they also a little room so you can do work on your latptop or something. They had complementary coffee that you were free to grab. The wait time wasn’t so bad. It was about an hour and a half or a little less. Overall great experience. Thank you

My service advisor Oswaldo Z. Is excellent. He always takes time to explain what my car exactly needs. He helps me keep my car up to date with all services. He looks for the best deal for me. He is knowledgeable and just an overall great person. He gets a 5 star. My only complaint is I went for wheel alignment which cost alot and in order to have my car drive straight I need to tilt my steering wheel. From now on I will do my future wheel alignments at another location or business.

I switched over to AutoNation Cerritos a couple years back. I used to bring it here occasionally when I couldn't go to my other dealership location. I'm very particular and detailed when it comes to my car so I look for service advisors who are the same. Just like anywhere, it will come down to the particular person who helps you. After going through several advisors that were okay, I finally found one that loves cars (new and old), can speak intelligently about the mechanics and systems within cars, and also cares about his customers. That trifecta of character traits makes it easy to bring my vehicle back for servicing, even though I can have it done at other reputable mechanics that I know for less costs. Although the service advisor is not the person who works on the car, I feel like I have an advocate at Toyota to help ensure that the technicians complete everything that is needed on the vehicle and also treat it with care while there. If you're not sure where to take your Toyota, I suggest bringing it here and finding a service advisor who is interested in you, the well-being of your car, and providing the best service possible to you. If you find that your service advisor doesn't quite fit your style, try another. If you're unsure how did pick one, ask the staff who they recommend or observe how other service advisors treat their customers and go from there. Hope you'll also receive great service like I do! Also, since it appears that Toyota pays very good attention to their reviews online, I highly suggest that you do everything you can to retain educated, wellspoken, and mechanically inclined service advisors on your staff. This goes a long way to increase the credibility of your team. I have run into some advisors at different dealerships who absolutely don't know what they're talking about and also don't appear to have any desire to increase their knowledge about cars either. Training and retaining great staff will go a long way to attract and retain long-term customers.

I recently brought my Sienna in for a recall service. The recall and vehicle inspection were done free of charge, which I truly appreciated. However, the ride service to my workplace took much longer than expected. I waited about 20 minutes without any update, and only after submitting feedback did a driver arrive about 30 minutes later. I hope this part of the process can be improved for future customers. Also, the car was returned without a wash. I’m not sure if this service is normally provided or not, but as a customer it would have been nice to receive the car in a cleaner condition. Overall, I’m thankful for the free recall service and inspection, but I believe there’s room for improvement in the customer experience. I’d rate this visit around 3–4 stars, with the hope that things will get better next time.

I went to the dealer to get an oil change. Instead of an oil change, I walked away with the same oil, the same filter, $130 less, and 3 hours of wasted time. Believing the service department did their job, I did not think anything otherwise. I went to install a skid plate on my truck and quickly realized things were not right. I have been going off roading a lot - running through mud and puddles and dirt. The entire under carriage was cake with dirt - including the “brand new” oil filter and the bolt on the oil pan - clearly indicating that neither was touched. Needless to say I was very upset. I went back today and spoke with the service manager. I explained what happened and showed him the photos I took of the under carriage. He looked at the oil on the dipstick and agreed that the oil had not been changed. He and everyone else I spoke with apologized profusely. They took my truck immediately to change the oil and gave me a credit on my future purchases. I appreciate that they took responsibility for the error and rectified the situation.
