Bought a battery and they installed it for free! Took around 10 minutes to install and I was back on the road! Fast and convenient service! Thanks Autozone!
I've been to this store a few times and generally find the staff to be rude and unhelpful. Won't be back again. I'll take my business to O'Reilly's where they are more knowledgeable and friendlier.
I received great customer service from Fred, he was very helpful!! He seemed very knowledgeable when it came to cars. I am very satisfied and greatful.
Just had my car battery replaced here. Matthew who helped me really went above and beyond. After removing the old battery, he cleaned the corrosion residues underneath and all around without me asking. It was a lot of work. Great 5-star service. Thanks, Matthew!
Came to ask about key fob battery. Guy at the front seemed like he could give less shit. Told me to go to the dealer. I don’t understand what this store is for if it’s for auto parts….

I came in Monday afternoon when they were quite busy to buy a new car battery. Even though they were swamped with customers, the temperature outside being hot, and the corrosion on my old battery making it difficult to remove, an employee (Ariel) suffered through the task with patience and professionalism as he had to juggle other customers while helping me.
I was at the store today to replace the battery on my car that is still in warranty until 2026, and the manager Fred was so rude and so mad that he was talking back to me , Zero customer service skills . But Anthony who was the one installing the new battery was so nice . In the future I will go somewhere else , I don’t recommend this store .
I went to AutoZone in Alhambra because I needed a duster. The guy working there barely acknowledged me, like I was bothering him just by asking a simple question. He lazily pointed at something totally random that wasn’t even what I asked for. I just left and went to O’Reilly on Huntington and got what I needed! Go there instead + better customer service.
The older clerk behind the counter was not friendly and obviously didn't want to help me. I asked him for assistance with figuring out the engine code, and he just handed me the device. I informed him I had not done it before, but he didn't seem to care. It felt like I was bothering him. I certainly won't be going back.
I went in looking for advice and a trying to figure out the function to a specific mechanism failure in my mom's car. Usually I'll go to E. LA because they help A LOT or they'll figure it out with you. MANY TIMES IN THE PAST. So I decided to visit this store for the first time. The staff we're not able to offere any suggestions and on top they told me to hire a mechanic for the issue my mom's car was having. I even explained that I was trying to figure out what part was not letting the car go on drive and didn't turn on the rear stop lights. The girl kept asking me for the part because she didn't know but atleast she asked for more help. The young gentleman was unsure when I explained and the older Asian guy (guessing from Phillipino decent) over heard and followed what I was trying to explain he even finished explaining the part that I was trying to figure out. But it was like they were overwhelmed with my inquiry trying to understand why my car was having that issue. This man ketp saying it's not a sensor nor a fuse but a circuit type of thing..... I was hoping we would get a little more help such as suggestions of parts but the male staff members we're saying that I wasn't going to figure it out although they seemed to understand the possible problem. The tone was condescending because they said that I don't know what I'm doing I should hire a mechanic. Then I asked for a part suggestions so I can google it and they said no that I was not going to figure it out. When I insisted that I just needed help to understand why it was doing that. They insisted to hire a mechanic. I left saying "No thank you, I will figure it out, " they looked at me like I was annoying them for wanting to be listened to. Fortunately, once again I went to E. LA and the manager helped me figure it out very patiently and explained the process of installing the part in 5 minutes. The cost of the part was $20 and was called the brake light switch. I didn't feel the need to hire a mechanic if that what autozone is for. I've never walked in a place where they suggest you to do what you're trying to avoid knowing that the purpose of this place if for specific answers not being dismissed like im trying buy fruit at an autoparts store. I just feel a lot of these humans are acting like computers but at least computers offer possible answers. I will never come here by choice.
This store is small and they have all the basic things to clean my car and maintain it like oil changes and tune ups. Lightbulbs but the only thing is they won’t come out the store to greet you they are just standing behind the counters. So I brought in a battery and it was heavy you know maybe 30 pounds and they are all just in the back they don’t care to offer assistance or anything like that. Which they should offer a cart to carry batteries. When I go buy oil they don’t tell me how many quarts of oil it takes. So there not that much helpful there not even concerned about you and your car. Unless you don’t ask them they won’t ask u anything to try and help u fix ur car problem. Also too damm expensive for a seat cover that didn’t fit good on my car. To be specific $69.99
Was able to get my torque wrench replaced today through warranty. Guy didn't seem like he want to help my much. Told me he had to check if they had it but still asked me which one I needed after scanning it.
On top of that took my driver's license to scan and when that didn't work he asked me for my number 3 times cause he had ear pods in his ear!!
Could have had better customer service and listened better if they pods were not in on the clock! This is why I go to O'reilly's now
The employees of this location are amazing! My elderly father goes there all the time for the smallest thing, and they always provide exemplary service and go above and beyond to help him. Me and my family feel very comfortable going to this location, we been coming for 20 years and the service is always the same. My dad always comes back saying "such good kids there"
Awful customer service. Bought replacement part and returned it same day because the solenoid was also bad on new one. Guys in the counter just messing around not helpful at all with exchange. I ask if i can just get my money back and get the cheaper one since they had in stock and the one i bought they didnt. But they sent me on a wild goose chase to rosemead. Rosemead however did give me better service. Alhambra if i could give them a negative i will definitely put negative
Wonderful customer service! The team is quick and knowledgeable. Can’t complain here with the staffing. They show that they have a wonderful work environment and give great enthusiasm back to the atmosphere. Got help easily what I was trying to look for and even go a great laugh off of the front counter with a joke. Wonderful staff here, thanks and good looks. The store is small but effective you’ll find everything you need most likely here.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ I want to recognize Robert from AutoZone store #05349 in Alhambra for his exceptional customer service. I recently needed windshield wipers for my Toyota Mirai, and Robert went above and beyond to help me find the right fit. He made several helpful recommendations, and I decided to go with the premium Bosch brand after considering his expert advice.
What impressed me most was Robert’s extensive knowledge and passion for his job. This is actually the second time within this past year of 2024 that Robert has assisted me, and he’s been consistently excellent. He even helped me install the wipers, which was a big help since they were tricky to insert. He made it look easy!
Although the Bosch wipers were $30 each, I value quality over quantity, and Robert’s guidance made me feel confident in my purchase. If you’re in need of auto parts or expert advice, I highly recommend asking for Robert. I’ll definitely be coming back to this store!
Came in for a replacement light bulb for my headlight. Fred helped me right away. Even though I had a brain freeze as to the difference between high beam and low beam. He went right out to my car to double check, got the bulb, rang me up and helped me replace it all while patiently explaining to me what he was doing so I could learn as well. His customer service was amazing and sincerely appreciated.

This is a great AutoZone location primarily because of Robert. He’s knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. That makes such a difference when you need guidance, figuring out what you need. I hope Robert is acknowledged by his supervisor For his contributions. I will certainly recommend this AutoZone location ,and tell them to ask for Robert.

Went to the Commonwealth location to have my battery checked. ( off car) Young man hooked up his tester and said battery is fine. Next day car didn't start. Went back same young man checked it again in car, said everything is fine. Next morning car didn't start. Went to another Auto parts chain. Said battery is bad. Bought a new battery car is fine. Won't buy another battery from Autozone!!
My battery is about to die this morning. I’m calling them and the wonderful name Sam picked up the and provided me with all the information and the price. Very nice man, then I decide to take my car there to get some checking. They have such a great team and wonderful customer services. Everyone comes out and help me figure it out what’s the best for my car. Overall, I think this place is tremendously amazing.
If anyone has any car problems, I’d recommend just to come here and ask for Sam or Nyi. I believe the rest of the team is nice too.
