THANK YOU ANTONIO AND YOUR SON! We were charged $450 by the Jeep dealer to diagnose our Jeep as getting antifreeze into the block and need to replace the engine for $12,000! She only has 80,000 miles on her!! We were told by some friends to get a second opinion, so we went to 3 shops in Shafter. First one the gal told us yes those are throw away problem engines but we dont do that.. 2nd nice young man was booked 1 1/2 weeks out..so we went to A&R Auto Shop. Antonios son put his little machine on her to diagnose the problem and said it was something else. Left my Rosie there and 2 days later we drove her out with new spark plugs and ignition coil and no caution lights on. They saved me $11,000!!! Thank You and your son Antonio!!! We will be back!
HORRIBLE PLACE‼️‼️‼️ PLEASE NEVER GO HERE!!! They will tell you that it’s one part but then will later tell you there’s a different problem and try to charge you even more money my father went here and was scammed $550 and they didn’t even fixed the right part. They then tried to charge him $700 more even through he had already gave them $550. Horrible people here all they do is lie. If you wanna get scammed this is the perfect place.
Should of done my home work before going to this shop,it's true what the reviews say,had my car for two weeks kept telling me it was this part and that part and in the end of it nothing got fixed,or put properly. STRONGLY RECOMMEND TO STAY AWAY FORM THIS SHOP.
Took 2000 S-10 for low power problem, in shop for 4 days, they never called, when asked if they found problem, said no and charged me 250$, took to another shop diagnosed in 5 min with high exhaust pressure. Was a long time customer but never again.
We needed a radiator put on our car. We went to one place and the guy toldy husband that he could do it the very next day and to bring it in. My husband took it in and the guy wasn't there. The other mechanic there said he couldn't do it bc he was busy. We went to another shop here in town, and they said they could do it, the following week. SMH. I told my husband that I'm taking it to Antonio's bc the dad has done work on a few of the families cars and we have always been pleased with his work.
So I pull in around 9am, and we ask if he could change it for us. He said, "sure I can have it done by noon". We left it with him and a little before 11am, I had my car.
I highly recommend him.
The mechanic here always tries to finish up as soon as he can he understands that you need your car soon and dont bsing about how long they take prices are good as any shop would dont expect no back yard prices thoe i highley recomend him 👌
Very good place to get your a.c serviced I would recommend it to anyone who needs there a.c fixed and summer is coming so go here to get your a.c fixed.
Great Technicians ASE Certified. Was hesitant to go there after reading some reviews but they still did a great job on my vehicle and have no problems to this day
Please by all means, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. This guy is the biggest scammer we have in Shafter. He was supposed to put a new water pump in my car and to do so he destroyed another part in my car. He told us the price he would charge and we agreed to it. Once we got there, he said he had underpriced the labor. He wanted over $300 for this particular job. We didn't pay that price, but the first price he had told us. It wasn't until this new water pump was leaking water that we realized some sort of scam had occured. We went to a different mechanic in town and he explained that the mechanic from A and R had destroyed an essential part of the water pump and that that's why our new water pump didn't last that long. Once we fixed the issue, we confronted the mechanic from A and R and he lied straight to our face stating that HE didn't do that to our water pump. Lies! He is a fraud!
Dont do business with this mechanic he will not fix the issue and overcharge you. He will give your vehicle back to you worse then when you brought it in. I had took my car to get fixed and had been told the price of the repair , turns out he adds 50 dollars more when i go pick it up and it wasn't even fixed right.
