Our van had a major transmissin failure while pulling our trailer on 5 north. We contacted AAA and a tow truck driver Ivan answered our call He immediately made sure we were all right then suggested a repair shop it would at least be three days to repair so i contacted u haul ro see if we could rent a truck the guy said use the internet to order one and hung up on me. I asked Ivan our tow driver if he could tow us back home and he did! Very nice polite and caring person Ivan put our van on the street so i could unload it and put the trailer in the driveway. I needed a tow and Monique the dispatcher was super nice and helpful she asked if I was in a safe location, and sent a driver out really fast! The driver was also super fast and careful with my car, I had a great experience with Castro Towing! I’ll definitely be contacting them again if I need a service.
When Jose arrived we were rattled and didn’t even know where to have him take the car. Fortunately, Jose was very patient and helped us figure out the right course of action. He even gave us a ride to somewhere safe to wait for Uber. We appreciate his kindness!

The tower was very kind. They came to my location quite quickly which I was glad about since it was getting dark. When I called to get information on stuff their secretary, Monique was very helpful.
I came to pick up my vehicle that had been stored here at Castros and had a very pleasant experience. Chris went above and beyond and waited for me to arrive, as they were about to close. My daughters and I got a flat tire on the side of the freeway. Luckily they got us to a safe location. The dispatch knew exactly where we were and was professional!
Christian was great. I had a tire blow out on my travel trailer with no spare (the spare was already in use from an earlier blow out). AAA wanted to load it on to a low boy trailer, but Christian told AAA it would be cheaper to change to a new tire, and that is what happened. He also gave me some good recommendations on how to keep the tires from cracking when the trailer is sitting for a long time.
Easily the best service I could have asked for. My vehicle broke down in the middle of nowhere, in 110-degree heat, while traveling across the country. They were fast, efficient, and caring. The team cared for me, my dog, and our safety above all. They went above and beyond my expectations.

Best towing company in Kern County. Got a flat tire on the way home, called them, and they were out there in less than 20 minutes. Did not have a spare, so they suggested towing it to their tire shop in Buttonwillow. Both the Driver and the shop worker were generous.
HORRIBLE, Castro Towing picked up my car picked up on Christmas morning after my BF was arrested. When I went to get my car, there was damage to my front bumper, the window was down and everything was tossed inside.. I got pictures of how the car was when it was towed by Shafter police and they were not the same.. The staff is very unhelpful, and when asked for her name, she refused and questioned it.. The first 2 pictures are from the yard, when I picked it up the final picture is from the police report ..
