Under new management. Doing much better since it's been under new ownership, and the service is way faster much more friendly and even if he can't speak fluent English at he tries to do his best to understand.
Very unreliable business, it’s only open on Saturdays now but the last Saturday we sat in line and once again they closed early and left customers that were already in line. Can’t count on them being open during their stated business hours. Someone should invest in a business like that and open a real business. Their phone does not even have a mailbox set up.
They're never open 😕it's a pain to rebag the cans load them up drive over just to see it's close even when the website says they're open , over and over again 🤦
Their gates were open, a line had formed, and we waited for twenty minutes. After twenty minutes the line had not moved, so my girlfriend walked to the front of the line and asked the employee what was what. The answer was, "We're closed."
Bottom line: If you enjoy wasting your time and being treated rudely, then this is the place for you.
Today October 12th 2023 at 10AM I went down to clean out my trunk of recycling only to find that the facility was not open. Not sure what's going, on but I'm more than disappointed! Wasted trip and gas for nothing! Keep hoping the owners will post some definitive information! It's a valuable resource that is lacking! Oh well.
This place is never open when there hours say they are.. I assume that it has something to do with all the meth addicts that run the place. I feel so uncomfortable when I go there most the time I just take the time to go to Bakersfield I really wish that there was a normal recycling place in lake Isabella.. and if you read the response to the reviews from the owner it's all excuses such poor customer service I assume they are on drugs also I have to remind myself we are in lake Isabella!

No car license recorded or ID needed. In and out FAST and everyone was friendly and efficient.
We pulled up at 11:25 and the man working said no he would not help us and was very rude he was the only one working come back tomorrow I waisted my gas driving there and it clearly said they were open today
I am very glad for the loyalty that Web is here. I would never go to Bakersfield or Ridgecrest to recycle. Bottem line the money we get for the recycle would pay for the gas to get home. I would hope that the Kern River Valley residence would show more appreciation and patience towards the people who are are working there because they are not paid a salary, no health insurance and lets face it as hot as it is in the summer they are dedicated and show up. I wouldnt do it would you?
Very friendly and helpful. This place is very busy always. Yet the employees are still very professional and friendly. Just be ready to wait. Also they shut down the line early but do accept people until close. Call first if you have bottles. Not sure why but Saturday they couldn't take any bottles.
This is the only recycling center in Lake Isabella currently, so they get 4 stars for merely being there in my book. The employees are very nice but, unfortunately, the line is usually long due to the center being open only 3 days a week & closing earlier on Saturday. One thing that annoyed me is they close the place down entirely for lunch, which is fine, but don’t indicate this on their website, so I showed up during that time & waited 30 minutes ‘til they reopened. Fortunately, I was 3rd in line.
It’s important to separate all your recyclables prior to coming. The employees now ask you if you’ve separated your stuff while you’re in line. In the past, I’ve sat watching folks do their separating when it’s their turn, holding everyone else up. It’s good for everyone, especially the employees, if you come prepared.
Waited in line for over an hour and a half just to be told that they were closing in a half an hour that I would have to come back the next day to wait in line again. Also on a different day I needed the cash and was a little broke and really didnt know their policies. So I gave the lady a few bags of which I had at least a dozen. She kept them for herself and thought I didnt see. And when I asked her she said all of my dozen bags were condensed down to 3 barrels which was crazy there was no way possible.I only continue to go because they ARE THE ONLY RECYCLING PLACE IN TOWN.
Web is the slowest Recycling Center I've ever gone too.
This last time I waited 3hours.
It's almost easier going to Ridgecrest or Bakersfield,had my truck ran better.
Waited 2.5 hours in line, no exaggeration. Watched them move at a snail's pace pouring cans one at a time into the bins, the line barely moving, until about 10 mins before closing when they sped up to a normal speed, so that they could go home too I guess. Ofc they try to scam like a lot of these places, saying they don't pay for a certain metal but that they'll still take it off my hands, yea, no thanks.
I arrived at 5PM. They said I cant recycle but they close at 6PM. This was Friday when they were open. I had 2 cars ahead of me and the so called boss said it took 45 min for each customer by law. What law? I will file a complaint. I own 50 acres here and since I was already in the recycle business I will start my own soon. Watch for it as Tilly Creek Recycling. Open 7 days a week From 7 am to 7 pm.
For over a month I have not been able to recycle. I'm Not wasting my time, gas or energy, to go to a company that will not even answer thier business phone. I just need to know if you're open or not!!.
They dont answer the phone & No voicemail message has been set up -(for over 5 months- whats up with that???).
The owner can respond to this post, but if you don't make any changes, then what is the point..
A very disappointed potential customer.
I've been here twice today, sat in a line of three cars for almost a whole hour, had to leave to make it to an appointment because they took to long, came back at 10:20 to their closed for lunch sign already out when they are supposed to be closed at 11 for lunch...... They've only been open for an hour and 20 minutes and apparently just decided they are taking an extra 40 minutes for lunch today.
To be honest I've been around recycling and scrap metals most of my life and I do A lot of maintenance work for web recycling and can tell you A lot of people got the wrong idea how things work there but that's another story and always glad to help out here
DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!!!! Spent over an hour in line because there employees move like snails! Not to mention the place is gross as hell and they don't care about you at all. If It wasent for the fact that your the only recycling place around id have taken my business elsewhere. Hell of rather go to Bakersfield then deal with you! Thanks for nothing.
First time. Had no cash on me before I went there. Paid me with counterfeit money. When I tried to buy something at the store the clerk ran the pen over the bills multiple times. Awesome 👍
Most picky place I have ever been to. I understand not wanting lids on bottles,they also want lables to prove redemption. Everyone knows what a Gatorade bottle looks like even without a label. I brought in clean recyclables now they are deducting 2% for moisture. Lol so ridiculous! Guess next time I will run them through the dryer or just take them somewhere else! Oh wait! They are the only place in town maybe that's why they deduct for every little thing. Because they can.🤔
