This wheel works is awesome. Juan really made it happen when I pulled up with a flat tire great people at this wheel works. I know where I’ll be taking my vehicle now.
Steve and Andrew really helped me out today. Nail in my tire and losing pressure. Plus I had to be in a meeting in an hour. They worked quickly to get me taken care of in plenty of time. Perfect! Thanks guys!

My experience was great. I was able to make an appointment for the next day online. Juan, who was working the front desk to check people in, was polite and knowledgeable. They got my estimate to me quickly and committed to doing the work the same day (Sunday). Despite having order supply issues from a third party, Juan went out of his way to ensure he made the end of day deadline that he committed to, I would recommend this location highly.

I had a very bad experience at Wheels Workshop. I went there only to fix a flat tire, which should be a simple and quick job. Unfortunately, it took them over five hours to fix just one tire.
What made the situation worse was that no one called me back to inform me that the car was ready. I had to call them myself twice. On the first call, I did not receive any proper response. On the second call, they simply apologized and mentioned something unrelated, which did not solve the issue.
Because of their delay and lack of communication, my son could not go to work and lost money that day. This kind of service is unacceptable, especially from a shop that claims to be a high-profile and professional wheels workshop.
I expect basic communication, respect for customers’ time, and timely service. Unfortunately, none of that was provided. I would not recommend this place and suggest others be very careful before trusting them with their vehicle.
So thankful for this Wheel Works shop's expertise – and for the caring customer service from Juan, Sam and Justin!
Tire damage with a slow leak and flat is always a challenge (made even more stressful when the tires are relatively new). The team quickly recommended the best fix. They fit us in the schedule, and had us back on the road in one hour -- impressive! Highly recommend.
Having a Tesla means tires are the main maintenance and Wheel Works in San Ramon has been fantastic. Recently Juan helped put a new set of tires on and then replace a tire once I hit a bolt after only two weeks. I recommend them highly.
Excellent customer service by Samuel today. He helped me figure out what was needed due to a light on my dashboard. Professional and kind too. I will return for my alignment.
Sam at the San Ramon location was a saving grace for me on a Sunday late in the day. I came by around 3pm and he squeezed my car in to be fixed even with a tight schedule and early closing. Can’t recommend him and his team more and will definitely be back for any tire needs in the future!

New to the area. Came in to get prices for new tires and brakes. Juan was very nice and knowledgeable about cars. Gave them a 4 because they didn't get the work done today but coming in next week since it fits my schedule. Would recommend friends for sure.

I recently visited the San Ramon Wheel Works location for a wheel alignment on my BMW X7, and I want to commend Andrew for his excellent customer service. After being turned away at the Dublin branch without much explanation, I was pleasantly surprised by how helpful and professional Andrew was. He took the time to assess the situation, explained everything clearly, and ensured the alignment was completed properly.It’s rare to find someone who goes the extra mile, and Andrew did exactly that. His approach restored my confidence in the service and made a clear difference compared to my previous experience. I had a scary experience here, and will no longer use them. They no longer have experienced or knowledgeable employees, either front office or techs, just a revolving door of youth who aren't trained and don’t take responsibility.
I bought 4 new Michelin CrossClimate 2’s for my 2019 Subaru Crosstrek, balanced and aligned. When I picked it up, the car had a bad vibration. I took it back, and they insisted they had balanced it. I had to argue with them to rebalance. They did so reluctantly, and said one wheel was out of balance. (I don’t know how they could have let it out of the shop if a wheel was that out of balance. I saw where they badly scratched the rim, visible through the wheel, where they had mounted eight inches of weights.)
I picked it up the second time, and it still had a very noticeable vibration at speed, so I dropped it off a third time. They “road tested” it and said there was nothing wrong. When I insisted there was, they made me return and take their "master" technician out for a test drive. He insisted it was only “road vibration”, so I demonstrated it on multiple surfaces. He insisted there was nothing wrong, and said he would “road force balance” the tires to “prove” it. He called back later and said one tire was badly out of round, and they would order a replacement. (He showed me the results, no apology.)
A week later I dropped it off for the fourth time. When I came back to pick it up, I could see the tread patterns (a noticeable V with these tires) was opposite on the left and right rear tires, one pointing up, and one pointing down. One was installed backward to the rotation direction. (These are directional tires.) I told the “manager” (always a different person), and he denied they would do that. He brought the tech up, who also denied it. I took him out to the car, and he denied it yet again. I got down on my knees and showed him the directional arrow. (See picture.) He paused a very long time before saying “that’s not backward, that’s reverse.”
He said he would swap the wheel with one on the other side to fix it. Of course that would make the one on the other side “reverse.” Suspicious, I looked on the opposite side front, and that tire was in the reverse direction also! I asked him why he had swapped wheels in the first place, and he said the order was to balance and rotate all the tires. I said no, he was supposed to have replaced a defective tire, and he denied it. I saw the new tire sitting in the bay and pointed to it. It turns out they were working off the wrong work order. Even so, you can’t rotate directional tires right to left, only front to back! That’s the most basic tire knowledge after proper inflation!
At this point they had no idea which tire was bad, and none of them knew how to use the road force balancing machine. (It’s a different machine.) Rather than have me have to drop it off a fifth time, they called the “master tech” on the phone (he doesn’t seem to be there much) who tried to talk them through it. When they were done, they showed me the screen shots. They had used incorrect parameters. When I pointed it out, the “tech” argued and tried to “explain” the parameters. It was obvious he had no idea what he was doing or what he was looking at. He didn’t know what the parameters were, how to change them, or even how to change screens on the machine.
I eventually left and will be taking my car to a different tire shop that employs knowledgeable techs and front office staff with ownership.
To add insult to injury, I am now receiving spam calls on my cell phone (which is on a “do not call” list) for their tire sales. I called to get my phone removed, and was told to call corporate. I called corporate, who said I had to call the shop. I called the shop again, and the “manager” hung up on me.
I’ve taken many cars here over the years, but whatever change of ownership or management has happened at Wheelworks, they’re simply not safe, reliable, or acceptable anymore, and they’ve lost a long-time customer. I will never take another car here for service.
Recently had a tire that kept going flat took it into Wheel Works tire had three nails in it and all my other tires were low on tread. Got a new set of Bridgestone’s put on my truck within an hour was back on the road really fast service. Love the tires they make my truck handle so much better would highly recommend.
I would highly recommend this shop for any repairs or maintenance. I recently took my mother’s car into San Ramon wheel works to have her shock/struts and brakes replaced. I dropped the car off in the morning and I was able to pick it up the same day! The same day service was much appreciated :) They did the work for half the price than dealership quoted me which was amazing. The work also came with a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty.
