Super honest and transparent. These people tell you how it is at their shop (and it’s great!) I only had a new tire installed 2 days before the Christmas holiday. Tire order arrived early and I was on my way in @3 hrs vs a whole day. What’s even better is that this tire is now covered by them completely for anything that could happen to it. I’m so glad that I’ve found my new auto shop!

Everyone was super friendly, and it felt like every customer mattered. They managed to get my vehicle done same day even though the had a pretty busy schedule. Will definitely be going back for all my car service.

I’ve brought my car into Ace a couple of times for oil changes. My service engine light went on over the weekend so I brought it in on Monday. They told me they were 90% sure that there was a pump issue, and they’d have to order an entire kit (which was $500) to confirm and repair it. The overall quote for 1. Ordering the part and 2. Repairing the issue was TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS. I immediately knew it didn’t sound right. I asked the lady helping me if it was safe to drive in the mean time and she told me it’s not safe for much longer, since it could make my gas tank explode. What?? Immediately after I picked up my car I spoke with 5-6 car knowledgeable people and they laughed when they heard about the gas tank explosion. Wouldnt the car have been recalled if that was the case? Or better yet wouldn’t they tell me the car is not drive-able if the threat is that serious? I obviously want to drive a safe car, so I’m not sure if that “gas tank explosion” was just a manipulation tactic to get me to spend the $2000, but safe to say I had two separate car places look at it afterwards and they said the pump looks totally fine. As a young woman it’s so hard to find a car place that won’t take advantage of your lack of knowledge about cars, and I’m sad to say this is yet another place that does that.

I"ve had my 1967 pontiac gto serviced by Ace Auto. They always do a great job and I trust them. There very honest and there prices are fair. Hard to find a good classic car repair shop. I"m glad I found them.

Danny at Ace auto care is the best! At the last minute if I have a dead battery or a flat tire or a sensor that is off, he gets me in right away and gets it fixed! I wish All companies operated with the same customer service attitude as Ace!

I was there to install front skid plate/ under engine guard cover. The good things are I don’t have to wait, they immediately start to fix my car and they charged me reasonable price. Customer service is great as well.

From Binil Daniel - this is without any second thoughts my first go to service centre for my car even though I live in Dublin. These guys are fantastic and know exactly what they doing. The moment you start to describe any servicing or issue to them, they already know what you talking about which shows they are the experts. And once the servicing is done, the car drives like a breeze and any issue reported is fixed for good each time its out of the workshop which proves that they are professionals. All of them are amazing and customer friendly. I would definitely recommend them to anyone no matter what make and model you have.

We have a 2022 Subaru Forester Premium. Just switched to ACE from the dealer after it handled the first few 6k maintenance and tire rotations, allegedly. At 30k service the inside wear on the tires killed them, I was told. Went to ACE, good discussion about where we drive and new tires have been great. For 41k service/tire rotation it was easy to check in, handled quickly, with well-stated tasks and cost agreed upon before they got the Fob. Finished quickly, too.

The guys at this shop are as honest as the day is long. They have never tried to sell me maintenance services that I didn't need. As a female, I appreciate that. The mechanics do great work and the prices are fair. Thanks Ace Auto Repair and Tire !!

Front brake pad replaced and as usual, I was fit into the schedule quickly and car was ready as promised after a half day. This is the best shop with excellent mechanics and stellar customer service.

I had a great experience, taking my car in for repairs on its transmission. Transmissions can be expensive and so we started with the simplest thing which is to put in new transmission fluid and that seems to have done the trick. A great big thanks to Danny and the team. I have always relied on Ace and they have never let me down.

I got a flat tire early in the morning and had my car towed to Ace Auto Repair. I used the drop off option because they were not open yet. A little while later I received a call from the shop. They suggested I replace another tire including the flat one. The price was fair I agreed and a short while later my car was repaired. Easy, fair prices and good customer service. Thanks guys

Great services, absolutely love coming here. I have been brining our cars to ACE for more than 10 years. Always was satisfied. Danny and Dave are very personable, carrying, very hard working people who go far and beyond of what they have to to keep business at 5 stars level. Highly recommend this place.

I have been using Ace Auto repair for couple of years now since I moved to San Ramon. Never had a issue with their quality of work. In terms of acoustics they may not be there like services at a dealership but that is not important to me. What matters to me is quality work and price that is competitive to a dealership service and Ace Auto repair is good at it.

Danny and the crew at Ace did an amazing job for me on my car with brakes and rotors. Same day turn around. Great customer service. Kept me updated and would highly recommend this shop to anybody. Will be returning for more service. Thank you guys. God bless

After years of taking multiple vehicles to Ace Auto — personal, business fleet, friends and family — and spending well over $15,000 (probably closer to $20K), I won’t be going back. This isn’t about one bad experience — this is about a pattern of poor workmanship, lack of care, and zero accountability. Most recently, I brought in my 1969 Nova for a list of jobs, and almost everything they touched, especially the things I didn’t have time to handle myself, I’ve ended up redoing anyway. What’s the point of paying someone when you have to go back and fix their work? They failed to properly install the throttle cable, which left the carb’s secondaries non-functional. I ended up replacing their setup with a linkage rod, a new pedal, and had to adjust everything myself. They rebuilt the rear drum brakes — which ended up self-adjusting to the point of locking up the rear end. I narrowly avoided an accident. When I tore it apart 50 miles later, I discovered enough damage that I had to replace the entire rear end. Yes, it was old — but their poor brake work was the final nail in the coffin. They also installed rear leaf springs and didn’t even use proper U-bolts — instead reusing old, worn-out bolts. When you’re charging someone $5,000+ in work, why wouldn’t you recommend proper parts or replace the bolts outright? It’s careless and dangerous. When I brought these issues up to Dave and Danny, I was met with attitude and a comment along the lines of, “We can’t keep working on your car fixing these things.” No kidding — I’m not asking for extra favors. I just want the work I paid for done right the first time. But that clearly wasn’t happening. Most of these problems I only discovered later, after the fact, as things started failing or just weren’t right. The rear end situation was the last straw. Recently, I got a generic text from them asking why I hadn’t been in for service. I responded with a polite version of this story. I was told the owner wanted to chat — but no one ever called. So here’s my review instead. They used to be our go-to shop for everything. But after the repeated issues, the dismissive attitude, and the lack of basic follow-through — I can’t recommend them anymore. Look elsewhere if you want it done right.

I just picked up my Ferrari from Ace and the service and speed was perfect. I ordered a special set of Michelin tires last week from them and they got them in within a couple days. I dropped my car off this morning at 11AM and got the car back after a couple hours! 4 new tires and alignment done! Will be back soon once I burn through this set
